The bagged popcorn is just average. The fudge is pretty good. The caramel apples are good. I went with an original caramel, it was good. The apple was tart and crisp. The caramel was soft and flavorful.Four stars only as I had to peel off a piece of parchment from the apple and half the caramel came off with it. It needs a better wrapping option for when taking it to go.

We love grabbing a sweet treat at Kilwins after dinner! Lots of options from fudge to ice cream to snacks, everyone is sure to find something they love. I tried their new chocolate cappuccino ice cream and it was very good, better than most of the coffee ice creams I had. They have waffle cones or bowls available so everyone can get the ice cream their way. Great service too!

We love the ice cream at Kilwins. This location is in the Destin Commons shopping center next to the AMC theater and Starbucks.This location stocks the Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream manufactured by Kilwins. It is not available at all locations. It is a type of chocolate chip ice cream. In this case, the company apparently uses fudge from Mackinac Island, Michigan. The chocolate flavor of the chips is perfect any any taste buds.Their ice cream is always very smooth and creamy. I scoop of the Island Fudge is about 360 calories but if one is going to splurge on calories, go for the best ice cream available.The one disappointment at this location: they do not stock the dolce de leche flavor—another favorite. I last had this as a Kilwins in Jacksonville, Florida so I may have to wait until I get back there to get it again.

We loved it and just what we needed! Tip...when eating chocolate ice cream, dont wear a white shirt...LOL

Had a wonderful experience at Killwins. You can not beat their home-made fudge or caramel apples. My wifes favorite thing is the Marzipan, which is not a common confectionery in the South. Prices are pretty-good for the high-quality you are receiving . If you are in the Destin area, you should check them out.

We have liked this Kilwins in Destin. We have been impressed with the serving size of their ice cream. We feel like the give us what its worth for the price we pay. So pretty much we have compared it to other Kilwins where ever we go visit similar store. Like for example when we went to Winter Park, FLORIDA. The staff are friendly and attentive. But we feel like one of the girl was trying to vocal like she had to tell out loud as if we cant hear her. But other than that overall satisfied!

Great selection of ice cream, shakes, and so many chocolate covered items. Price is a little high.

This place is definitely located in an area where it feels like a tourist trap. I think the excessively decorated and garnished milkshakes contribute to this. We felt like the food was higher quality than a chain but not what I would consider a must visit restaurant. We did enjoy what we ordered and left satisfied with the food quality for the price.

Well reading the reviews I saw a common trend about two employees working and one employee just prepping without helping customers. Approximately 1330 on December 30 2020 is when I experienced this. Once the employee working customers service was able to attend to me I wanted a turtle pecan sundae in the waffle cone bowl (since it was on display and pictures are the advertisements for buying). But of course they were out of pecans and waffle bowls. Lol. I understand running out of items but what I dont understand is the training of employees at this facility if it has already been rectified. Maybe the prepping person should work in the back out of sight of the customers. Just saying

Would not recommend if you actually like customer service. Waited in line for over 20mins with one employee scooping ice cream and another employee prepping apples. When asked if there was anyone else in the store to help the employee prepping apples refused to stop and help to clear out the store. Side task can be handled once the store is emptied from customers.

Why does the register girl ask for a tip? Youre not providing me a lot service, such as, a waitress or waiter does... Theyre the ones who live on tips due to their $3/hr wage, but you ask me for a tip ? No... Its very rude and then once you dont get your tip, you act as if Im wrong.. No youre wrong for even asking customers for tips after you do your job that takes less than a minute.

First time experience during vacation. The ice cream was great, but the experience itself wasnt. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable, will not go back. Hopefully, this experience does not happen to anyone else.

Took my wife and kids to have some treats at Kilwins Destin Commons this afternoon . Wow is all I can say! This is one of the best Kilwins I’ve visited. Thomas (owner) was making some amazing stuff in the kitchen when we arrived yet took the time to greet us and chat with us. His entire staff was outstanding including Tasha, Mike, Angel and Sarah. Ice cream was divine and we had to buy a caramel apple, fudge and strawberries for the road! We’ll definitely be back!!

First time experience the ice cream are good but the employee who assist us we dont have a good experience. We noticed that our ice not much like some.other customer and from the beginning shes not friendly to us, shes not smiling she give mean looks until we went to the counter to pay she still give a looks to me. I hope the owner give her a training to treat all.the customer with the good attitude.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST KILWINS!!!If you want to get the the most deliciously prepared treats with the most outstanding customer service, then this Kilwins in Destin Commons owned by Thomas and his wife (sorry don’t know her name) is THE PLACE! I was in Destin with my girlfriends and sisters and wanted to buy their amazing pecan pralines before heading back home. Well, Tom went out of his way to make sure we got a fresh baked batch by coming in early on a Sunday morning and opening his shop up just for us!!! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty! Tom truly cares for his customers and his business is run with genuine love and tenderness! Make sure you stop by and visit Tom and his amazing staff and indulge in some delectable treats! Especially the pecan pralines!

The chocolates and fudge at this place is unbeatable but I like coming for the ice cream. One of my favorite treats is to get a double scoop waffle cone. While they might not have 31 flavors, they have an excellent selection of handcrafted ice cream.

Quality product in a clean place. The flavors are a little different so I think its either a taste you really like or dont care for on some things. If you find your thing; I think youll be pleased. Price is a little higher than you might want to pay for young kids who will not appreciate the difference between this and a cheaper option.

Amazing all around! Great service and great treats, so good we went back a second night! The first visit, Sam helped us and she was so sweet and helpful! I have celiac and asked about options. They have printed information regarding each flavor and its contents. Obviously there is a chance of cross contamination due to their freshly made waffle cones (that smell amazing by the way). However, they offered to get a fresh tub for my ice cream as well as a fresh scooper. The second trip they were just as accommodating!

Pistachio ice cream, Kilwins is the only place I can find any. Pick the right time to go or youll be standing in line for a long time to get anything! A must stop whenever in Destin!

First came upon Kilwins in Michigan where I liked the taste of their Fudges and Candies. What a great addition to finding this in Destin now. They also have some great ice cream too as well as other treats

Yum, yum, yum!! The employees were great, offering us tastes! They have some unique flavors including raisin rum, toasted coconut, heavenly mash up, smores, and of course, mint choc chip! Big, delicious waffle cones. 😋

Stopped off on our way back from Seaside. Nothing better than ice cream on a hot day. It was delicious!

I gave this place only one star because the one female who could be the manager save our service, no one welcome us, rude customer walked trhough the door cut me and blazed right through while my husband who serve for this country holding the door.No one wanted to attend us the young guy refused to serve us until the one female got upset w him and help us so nice young lady and she was the only one. And i never felt so racism. We are american parents from mexico and proud. We are out on vacation and to spend 25 dollars for service so ugly.never will i recommends this place.
