Nice little shop with a friendly owner and helpful employees. Had a good conversation with the owner about her travels out west, and recommendations for places to check out in the Detroit area since I was visiting from Indiana. I plan to visit Eldorado again soon!

Loved the shop. A must see. The shop owner was more concerned about being fair with the cost (which included shipping) then what they could sell us. Very informative and knowledgeable about local spots to visit. Just down to earth good people.

I need to give this place three thumbs up! I love walking in this place as the vintage products she finds throughout the U.S. is a historians dream. The stories behind some of the products are worth the trip in itself and by the way, its all for sale. Please make it a point to stop by Eldorado and take with you a peice of history. It is so fitting that they are located in one of the most historic neighborhoods in Detroit. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Believe the hype. This place is charming and eclectic. Yeah, its not a dollar store but they have a good range of prices for everything from jewelry and crystals to vintage clothing and stationery and the quality is there. Employees know their merchandise. Perfect place to shop for the person who is hard to buy for.

Between the vintage clothing, locally source and hand- crafted goods, crystals, and all the disco ball sparkles: Eldorado is definitely my dream store to shop at! You can tell that the owner, Erin, puts a great deal of time and energy into unearthing and curating the most highly vibrational pieces to sell and showcase in her space. Her eye for design, and artistry in adornment; allows for the store, itself, to be an art piece all its own. She clearly takes great care to preserve the history of Detroit while also weaving in her own unique style, and the treasures she finds on all of her explorations. The best gifts Ive received are those that came from Eldorado General Store. Whenever Im in the market for some more magic- I know exactly where to find it.

Absolutely beautiful store, inside and out.i love the attention to detail and ambience. However my 2 star rating comes from this.. Prices are way too high for the selection and items being sold. I think the owners are not aware of the community income they are selling to. Most of these items you can find at thrift shops or ebay. Will not be returning.

Gorgeous place in Corktown for vintage and accessories! All of the pieces have stories behind them, and the jewelry & beauty seems to be all from small artisans and selected with great attention to detail. Love coming here to find inspiration- the shop owner and staff are lovely too.I tell everyone visiting Detroit to go here!

Pretty cool little store from the outside, with tons of potential, but after having this on my todo list for a month..i was honestly a bit disappointed at the stock. A very cool and historic sliver red brick building with some interesting items. Western and native American from what could see. A bit occultic with tarot card readings and offering stones and elements that claim mystical powers..which isnt to my liking (as i am not a gullible tourist but am a lifelong metro Detroit resident) but hey.. the melinials were flocking there as fast as their Ubers could drive. The American flag behind the counter is a nice touch.. But if you thought this store was going to be in ANY WAY patriotic.. Forget about it. They really missed the mark on historical Detroit and Americana which they should have seriously exploited. And i have to say..youre really insulting your customers intelligence If youre going to put a used American flag on sale for $40 and claimed that it was recovered in Philadelphia.. knowing that is pretty hard if not impossible to verify or prove. But hey..a fool and his money are some party right? The layout and look of the store is smart. The door Mosaic shows the owners desire to use everything for artistic purposes. But the store is really more artsy and kitchy than practical.. But hey to each his own.
