This is an amazing place! And with affordable prices. We were looking for pipes to replace the old one we had for our dish sink (we went to several stores as the pipe we were looking for was old fashioned), and we were able to find one here and at a cheaper price compared to the other stores we visited. Glad there is one at this location. Seems that they also have products from their own brand. Will visit again if needed to seek for hardware materials!

The level of service that these clowns that are employed at this location provide IS A JOKE! They have an attitude in their disrespectful! you ask him a question and they act like you’re bothering them when they work there. What kind of attitude is that???? literally I had to go to the guy to ask him three times and he didn’t wanna be bothered But for sure he had social hour with the other four employees there grouped up at the cashier register. Gossiping but not helping the customers and providing a level of service that they’re supposed to provide. This is ridiculous. And to prove it I’m gonna record it and put it in social media. I’ve been there three times and that’s what they do. Don’t go there or what? They don’t do nothing

I forget his name, but hes one of the main floor personnel. Hes very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as polite. Its my second time getting assisted by him. Cool young man! Great attitude and customer service!

Went in here to pick up Cotter key stock.I just live Ace Hardware Stores . They always carry that extra something. I appreciate the individuals help here and his knowledge, because I truly had the wrong size. His knowledge helped me to get what I need and be up and running.

I went in looking for a bulb replacement. Sounds easy enough right!!? But I unfortunately know nothing about what parts my car needs and Adrian, the assistant manager helped me to find the right item I was looking for and went above and beyond by going outside with me to double check my lights before selling me the wrong item. If he hadnt offered his help, I wouldve been a mess and Im sure I would have bought the wrong thing. Thank you so much for your help and amazing customer service!

Ace is one of those places you could get lost in, especially if you dont know what youre looking at. Fortunately there are people who know whats there and help. It will be better when they can get back to full staffing.

Great place . Ive been shopping here since 1984 . Almost always has what Im looking for. And helpful tips on how to repair or install what im fixing. If it was a item they dont carry Ive always been able to find something comparable . Never had any problems with the employees. No zombies wandering around the parking lot.

Great place to find the essentials for your home. They have a large selection of goods to choose from. The staff are also very friendly and often ask if I needed anything.Also, as a resident of Diamond Bar, youre able to recycle your old batteries and light bulbs at the very back in 2 large bins (outside) for free! Its a good way to recycle these while looking around to see if you need anything for that home project.

I went there to get a car key duplicated with a chip transponder. Afterwards, I tried it on my car and it did not work. The keys didnt even matched the original. I talk to the owner of the store and he said too bad and there is nothing he can do about it. Now, I have to buy a new car key with a chip transponder and have it re-programmed for $130. The owner did not try to fix their screwup or even bother to apologize for the mistake. Dont give them your business. They dont care about the customers. Shop elsewhere for better service.

My front screen door lock and handle was broken and I had so much difficulty finding the replacement. I brought the broken piece to this store and the customer service guy helped me ID the part series number in 10 minutes. Since he does not have it in stock, I purchased it through amazon. with a few screws, it’s perfectly matching my screen door. So happy with this store. it’s a great source of information/supply place if you have broken hardwares

Great place. Retapped a shower handle for me and bought a new set screw for 50 cents. You will never get that service at the big box store. Good old fashion customer care still exists here.

They have everything I need (always after runing everywhere else) Im back here...where the prices are good.You have to beg the (shy) young men who work there to help you...but they are always kind! and helpful.The plants Ive gotten there...and planting supplies are top-notch. They are vibrant and alive. They dont carry plants through the Summer...(too hot).I really love the organized lay-out...(reminds me of my Grandmothers Sisters Hardware Store...from my childhood)Good to know some companies really do care about quality and pleasing the customer.Ace Hardware...On my top 10 Companies List.

The store is a great place to stop in for routine emergency supplies. However, there is a limited number of of SKUs and you may still have to go to a big box stores. The person working at cashier is nice and friendly. However, there is a shortage of staff and often you have to search for someone. The staff on the floor may not be as well versed as youd expect. So take your patience.

I had so much fun with my instructor for my birthday celebration in September. The vibe was so nice great music, flowing conversation, easy instructions and she was very attentive to all guest who needed extra help or wanted to make sure they were doing the correct steps.

I am very happy to have them near my home.

From the minute I walked in I was greeted with kindness and staff was very helpful with Christmas product. I was able to accomplish all my holiday decorations from the lights, garland, and wreaths. I still travel from chino to the diamond bar location when I moved because as always it exceeds my expectations.

Has a good selection considering the size of the store. Their employees are knowledgeable and helpful. This is the classic hardware store experience. It is a dying art. Try getting any helpful advice from one of the big box stores.

We walked in at 6:50 on Friday June 3rd 2016, 10 minutes before closing. We were looking to purchase paint samples by Benjamin Moore. The staff looked like we just ruined their quiet time. The entire paint section was blocked by the bbq grills (Im guessing) they keep outside. I asked if we could see some paint sample cards. The employee said let me ask my manager...ok. The manager came by and looked bothered and huffed that he had to move the bbq grills out of the way. Not friendly as advertised. We purchased the samples, but will not return to purchase anything else. Not a good experience. Would give no stars, if possible.

Selection limited, also a dirty store. I only go here if I dont want to get on freeway and go to the big stores.

I went to the Ace store in Dbar couple of weeks back to return something and the customer in front of me laid his goods on the counter and told the cashier he had to go back for more. He came and put a few more things n then asked the cashier where he cud find something he wanted for his bathtub n left again to go find it. After waiting patiently thru all this I then asked the cashier if she cud finish my transaction n her reply was Ill ring you up when Im ready. Thats when I got really mad n told her you expect me to wait till this man goes around the store looking for things and getting them one by one? She then proceeded to attend to me and when she was done stepped back to look at something and I asked her Whats your name? she pretended like she did not hear me and I repeated it louder and she replied its on the receipt and then told me BIANCA (after realizing that its not there on the receipt. I later called and was complaining to the Manager when I got cut off, I called again and another Manager answered and I proceeded to tell him the reason for my call and he said ya I believe you were talking to my other manager. And all the time I was telling him about my complaint he just went huh huh, like I was telling him a story. No apology or any regrets at all. I really wish I could get hold of the telephone nbr. of the owner of the store?????

Customer service is pretty bad. I ordered a small storage unit, was told would be in Wednesday by noon. I get there still waiting for then to unload truck, was told will call within an hour truck should be unloaded, 3 hours later no call, so I called and no answer.
