I passed this place for 2 1/2 years The outside didnt feel that welcoming but I was absolutely shocked when I walked inside well stocked everything you could possibly want unbelievable.

I will never go anywhere else for my firearms or ammo! I have had many guns transferred here and got many new here. They have a great selection and have the best prices hands down that you will find. All the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. They also offer propane sales at a great price. I very highly recommend them.

Awesome guys, very helpful! Had everything we needed. My husband was able to get a nice new bow and they were able to dial his old one down and help set me up.

I purchased a rifle scope from DSS today and I was very pleased with the results. I brought my rifle to try out different scopes and mounts but they had a dummy stock to easily try combinations. They quickly assessed my needs and were able to find what I needed and they professionally mounted the scope on my rifle in a few minutes. This is by far the best shooting and archery store in Dickson Country.

Dickson Sportsman Store has been serving our community for decades. They offer a wide selection of hunting, fishing and shooting gear. If they dont have what youre looking for they can usually order it for you.

The only Middle TN bow shop I’ll use from now on. Good selection, good prices, great folks!

I have always found the folks here friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend them. The only thing I would like to see is more rangentype ammo, but I understand thats not their focus. They have and do sell quite a large range of hunting, fishing, and firearms equipment including steel and other targets.

Focusing more on the good wholesome hunting side of firearms and not the new age tacticool angle that ends up making most gun stores miserable to go to. This place is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Updated 4/8/19.Made a deal with my 13 year old. If he could generate half the money, Id toss in the second half for his birthday for a new bow.Cant say enough about the bow technician. Wish Id caught his name, wont be the last time he sees us. He was beyond professional and more than patient with us. He stayed after closing to make sure my son was taken care of. We wont go anywhere else and Ill refer them every chance I get. Drove to the store last Friday from e bland VA and was treated like a friend when I got there the had the Flintstones for my gun in stock thats really cool because most store around here dont even carry them .also I needed a smaller back pack and they had it in stock a big thank you to the staff and uncle Sasquatch.

Everyone was great except one older gentleman... I was in there three days in a row and he was the same way everytime... older man taller with dark hair... Rude, not friendly at all. Thought he might of been having a bad day the first time i was in there but didnt change. Other then him there nice

I drove over a hour to find a Matthews dealer that was open on a Monday. ( My only day off and the one in Franklin is closed). I decided to try out Dickson Sportsman store. I am so glad that I did! A younger gentleman helped me out. He took the time to take several brand new bows off the show room floor and set them up for me just so I could feel how they would shoot.He had no idea whether I was going to buy one or not. He even adjusted swapped cams, fixed draw length and weight on a few. At that point I realized I would be a idiot for not doing business with these guys. And I also dont like to waste peoples time. I shot everything and decided on a Mattews No-cam. Very nice, helpful, amazing store and I will definitely take the time to drive over a hour to go back for further purchases!!

Transfered pistol from BUDs guns—arrived On monday at 10:55 AM—I called and talked to a young man in firearms about 3:00 PM—who checked and said it was in. I asked if I could come by to pick it up that afternoon or in the morning—- he said yes and they would do the paper work either time—-that was Monday. Today, which is Tueday I went over there from Fairview(30 minutes drive)—- when in around 11:00 AM. Was told that there was no 9ne there with “credentials”. Would have to come back Wednesday. They said I should have waited for them to call— I said I would not be there if I had not called Monday, after FEXEX notified me it had been delivered, and was told it was in and I could come get it. Does not take three days to unbox, log in and and have pistol ready to pick up. It is a 45 minute round trip to the store from my house in Fairview.
