Particular shout out the the lady, Toni, that helps me every time Im in a hurry or get discouraged when I cant find exactly what I need. What a difference this Safeway associate has made in my shopping experience based on her happily helping us and smiling all the way. She keeps me coming back from across town as I pass the other grocery on the way...

As out of towner, surprised how well stocked!Had everything we wanted and needed and more. Most items even in wide selections! Nice Deli, soda selection, wines, cider, produce.....

Friendly staff, Montana was not mask mandated so that was nice to feel normal again. I usually dont write a review on grocery stores but I am here because when i was in line someone in front of me asked if I was doing monopoly and I stated I, I live on an island and there is no Safeway there. Come to find out my cashier knew exactly what island I lived on apparently she lived there for 10 years before moving to Dillon :) There is a Starbucks there but its inside and the staff was really nice as well. I really loved Dillon.

Deli chicken was undercooked (pink at the bone) and greasy as I’ve ever tasted. Might help if they use a drain rack in the bottom of the pan! Been to dozens of Safeway deli’s and I’ve never been served pink and greasy (dripping) chicken. I’d never buy anything from this deli again.

The cashiers and staff was rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. Alot of the food was past the sell by date. The bathroom was looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a couple of days. Ill be using the southside store when I pass through Dillon from now on.

A nice store but two of the items I needed were unavailable and they werent items that figure to be out of stock.

They have what you need. Good prices. Friendly and helpful staff.

Love this store, prices are good, love the produce section, the selection is wonderful. The gal in the meat dept is reason I dont give 5 stars. She was kinda rude, we let her know what we wanted, then she turned around and helped someone behind us first. We always go back, maybe next time we wont get treated so rudely at the meat dept.

Always had a Safeway down the street growing up and I really like the chain now .always great products and delicious deli items ..

We stopped in here to buy some things before getting home in Three Forks from Salt Lake. I used there bathroom. The toilet is to uncomfortably close to the wall.We were having trouble locating items around the store and other shoppers were asking my wife were things were also. Obviously we couldnt help because we also werent locals. We managed to get what we needed but not in a timely manner...

I just ran in quickly for a few minutes. I got to a check out line. The cashier motioned me over and he was very curious. I was in and out in just a couple of minutes.

Always check the checkout station for your purchased items before you leave the store! Baggers and Cashiers are notorious for forgetting to return all of the checked or bagged items into your cart! Very easy to leave the store without something! Busy store!

Safeway is the best for customer service. Even when sales dont ring up correctly, they will adjust without question. And returns --- no questions asked. But how many people return groceries? I do for rotten vegetables, already expired dates. Dont like to, but I do.

Normally a well stocked grocery store - we visited late on a Sunday during busy tourist season and the produce was sparse but a produce manager went to the back and got potatoes for me.

Always nice to have a familiar place to shop for groceries. When we travel to Montana we know there is Safeway in Dillion real close to the I-15 exit.

Mandarin Chicken from the deli was pretty dried out and chewy at 2:00.

Whoever designed where products go needs some help a lot of the product layout is extremely counter intuitive.

They have great deals on dog and cat food. I love to get their fruit trays. So delicious!

Used to be Safeway, and its owned by Albertsons now...but, the ultra Conservatives dont like change, so it has Safeway products, but Albertsons grocery bags. Go figure...lol...the store and products are great, and the staff is friendly. I recommend it.

Have not been in a Safeway since the 80s, as we dont have them in my state any longer. Staff friendly and neatly dressed. Store very clean. Shopping carts clean and no loud wheels. Parking lot was tidy too.

This is a great store for a small town. They carry a lot of specialty items for special diets! We especially love the Ben & Jerrys dairy free ice cream!

Decent grocery store, but after being merged with another chain prices skyrocketed and selection was decreased. Staff is uber friendly and beyond helpful. If the staff wasn’t so great, I wouldn’t shop here at all.

Large, clean bright friendly grocery store with just about everything you can possibly imagine a very good selection of products. A great find in the little town of Dillion. A great place to stock up before heading to vacation rental or camping.

Good store. Great place for groceries or a quick stop while traveling. Deli food is good. Best place in town for gas.

This store was very clean very well stocked. We were even asked if we needed help finding anything. The employees and people who live in Dillon have reason to be proud of this store (if their not already)

Too expensive

Service is prompt and friendly. There are self check stand options. The restrooms are clean. We only stop here when traveling. The jos in the food court are not the same as other Safeway stores in other states. They dont taste the same and they are too big for our taste. We had forgotten and will not buy Jos at this store in future. I bought grapes and cherries. Both were fresh. The cherries were Idaho Bing and not Washington bing. Not as good as Washington cherries, but that is likely a distributor issue and not the fault of this store. If you are stopping for quick items, fuel and good customer service, you are likely to find those here.

Its not the only store in town but they usually have what you want and are willing to order things for you. Good deli and quick bites. Starbucks inside with tables. Video selection too. ATM inside. Pharmacy.

This Safeway is a great place for most any grocery needs you may have. The staff is usually polite and knowledgeable. There is a Starbucks inside. There also a deli/Chinese food.

Workers not that helpful and not much to get, couldnt find a nail clipper, and the employees were not helpful at all

Deli sandwich was delicious, friendly service too. We were lucky that McDonalds was closed.

Very friendly crew. Wanted a particular type of salad mix and the great produce associate spent significant time in the back going through all the salads trying to find the coleslaw mix. Check out clerk was also very friendly.

Ive been a Safeway customer when it was at its old location on Helena St. The friendly people who work there are always cheery and helpful which makes my shopping trip even better regardless of what the weather is doing.

Its a grocery store, you should know what to expect. The place was just remodeled. Try the Chinese in the deli.

The vegetables and fruit isle could use some love but the deli is awesome.

Still a good place to shop all though needs a good cleaning and a few more helpful employees I have shopped here for a few years and last couple have seemed to be lacking that clean,friendly, helpful place it can be.

I originally posted as 3 stars since they started to re model. Looking back, I see this as unfair to them as its not up to them to remodel. Yes, its a bit dusty, but I do know the people that work there, and thats partly why I do go there.

For years have been buying a box of plain couscous..now only ones with garlic or pine nuts or parmesan....at least stock plain couscous in Red Mill product line...when I have to go look at the other grocery.. also the shaved parm.in the round plastic container.. $5.00!! Outrageous. At Frontier Market in Butt e, $2.00 cheaper and better quality! I might as well head to Butte!
