The issue I brought the car in to be fixed was done (2 days later than initially promised) as promised. The passenger door however would not open. We use this door everyday to drop kids off a school so I am sure it worked when I dropped it off. Now I have to take my car to another shop to fix a issue I did not have when I dropped it off. I was however told there were pictures of my damaged door before they worked on it but why not tell me about it before I left. They did offer to give me an estimate on the repair but I have not received one as of yet.

The rudest front desk employee I have ever encountered. The first time that I called them to set up my appointment to drop off my car, never told me that I could only start my rental the day I would drop my car so when I actually did drop it off the day of my appointment she tells me that I would have to pay those 5 extra days out of my pocket, had she told me the first time I called them I wouldn’t have to dish out extra $1000 out of my pocket. Told me the car would be ready in 2 weeks, wasn’t ready till after 3 weeks. It used to be a lot better when it was Abra, unfortunately not anymore. I will not be using them for any of my car problem in future.

Great communication on where my car was in the repair process and you guys have the car looking brand new! Awesome work! Easiest drop off also, I took my car there and the rental company showed up not long after to bring me my rental. I used Caliber Collision because thats who Geico uses in the Douglasville area, and I will use them in the future if the need arises. Thank you Maurita and team for making this pain in the butt process be less of a pain in the butt!

The staff was helpful and fast so there was pretty much no wait time at all. Also they repaired my baby in a timely manner, cleaned her up real good (inside n out) and even replaced the blackout sticker on the license plate which i was not expecting them to do. I would highly recommend them for your repairs!!

Very pleased with my repair and communication. The staff at this location is very professional and friendly. I enjoyed the text communication update and transparency when it came to my repairs. Caliber promised my repairs would be done in 30 days. It took them 60 days and my rental car on my insurance was for 30 days. I called Caliber to help with my rental expenses and they refused to give me any discount are provide any help fir my expenses and I am still waiting on a part. Do not use Caliber.

Overall, Im not satisfied with the company had to take the car to the shop several times for the same issues, which if the work was done correctly the first times I would not have to take the car back. Moreover, they advised the work was completed and I would be satisfied, which I should have known, I had to call and advised my car might need an alignment, which I should not be the one informing the technician, lastly between myself and ABRA there where no communication. Once again, Im here again for the same problem, once again I was guaranteed that the was completed and I’d not have to bring the car back, and every time my car has to go back, the insurance pay for work that cant be fixed properly. They consider this being finish work, cracked the windshield, a gap between the bumper and the windshield, the side fender not properly install. If you ever consider going to ABRA make sure you do a walkthrough or your inspection

I picked my vehicle up in June after they did repair work after someone backed into my fender, and I was told that the chrome drip molding they they had to removed for the repair was on back order and as soon as it came in they would call me. Ive been driving around with the older molding being held on with double sided adhesive tape. When I call, over and over Im told that Ill be called when it comes in. Theyve been paid, yet Im driving around in a car that hasnt been repaired completely.

Shop was wonderful with keeping me updated on the repairs of my vehicle. Of course some things could have been better but overall I would recommend this shop.Update: If you need your windshield replaced, do yourself a favor and have that portion of your repairs completed somewhere else. I’ve been going back and forth with the glass department for almost a month now concerning installing my windshield correctly. I picked my vehicle up from Caliber and I heard wind noise coming through the windshield. An installer came to my residence a week later and glued the bottom of the seal. Following week they returned and glued the top of the seal. I was then told that they would replace my windshield and start over. Now the installer is giving me excuses after excuses and I have yet to have my windshield reinstalled correctly. I was trying to be nice but now I’m furious! This makes no sense! It’s been 1 month since I picked my vehicle up from Caliber. I did not think that I would still be going back and forth with the glass department over a windshield that was installed at Caliber body shop. Somebody needs to ownership of this problem. Each time I call the body shop, they transfer me to the glass department. Save yourself the frustration and have your windshield installed by someone else.

Oue insurance company had our vehicle scheduled for collision repair at Caliber earlier this week. Since they did not call us within the promised time, we dropped in to set things up. The receptionist, Kim was incredibly rude, refused to help us coordinate the promised tow into the shop and told us that we were on our own. She said that she isnt doing anything for us until the vehicle is sitting in front of her. Zero professionalism, Zero integrity, Zero humanity. We called our insurance company and switched body shops. Maybe caliber shouldnt assign their rudest, nastiest employee to be the customers first point of contact..

My First experience with Abra / Caliber collision was the replacement of my windshield on my 2018 Honda Accord. My experience was simply amazing, everything seemed to flow continuously in one direction and my windshield was replaced flawlessly. After my amazing experience, I knew for a fact I would trust Abra / Caliber for any related work providing my car needed their expertise on any type of relative repair.Thanks Abra / Caliber!My Second experience with Abra / Caliber was for body work on the passenger side rear quarter panel on my 2018 Honda Accord. Once again, amazing work! My car looked as though it was just purchased from the dealer! Wow! This work is TOP notch! This place is truly full of gifted and talented people. Such a great team! I dont expect perfection but want everything to be completed correctly. There was a little confusion on the first day my car arrived. However, the manager, Chara, was exceptional and made sure that everything was address the same day! I was so impressed with her. I didnt make a complaint, but she became aware of an issue with my vehicle, called me, and took action to correct it ASAP.Thank you so much, Abra Team! Unless you want to pay higher prices and continually lied to my advice is not trust Calibur Collision because they will mislead you to there benefit, customer service is poor and they are generally more expensive than local competitors. The customer service rep at the Douglasville location named Jesus lied about Calibur Collision’s policy and procedures. During the walk-through I stated multiple times that I only wanted an estimate and he assured me that this was only an estimate and that he would go over the estimate with me prior to any repair. A few days later I received a text message that another estimate had been completed. I immediately contacted Jesus the customer service rep, who said that he did not have access to the estimate. I also told him again that I did not want any work to be completed on my car until I received the estimate. He assured me once again that I would get the estimate before any work was to be completed. A few days later I received another text that my car was disassembled to be painted. I contacted management to let them know there was a major problem at which time they were reluctant to answer my questions on why the customer service rep lied to me on several different occasions forcing me into a situation to pay for a repair that I did not want. Costing me $1672 for a repair that was initially estimated at $1242.

First, ask them to show you and explain what their warranty policy is and what youre agreeing to before signing their release form when picking up your vehicle. Secondly, I had to bring my car back, 4×s due to sloppy and passive work. Third, no consideration or respect of my time being inconvenienced by their poor work ethic. Fourth, to have the audacity to get attitudinal and frustrated with me because of their errors and lack of understanding of their agreements illustrated their lack of professionalism. Fifth and final, take accountability for your mistakes. Trying to tell me WHOEVER replaced my fender in the past put the wrong one back on it, which is why the brackets didnt fit, shouldve looked at my file in detail. ABRA/CALIBRE REPLACED THE ORIGINAL FENDER!! 😡 Finally picked up my car on 01/09/20, brought it back because fender still not held in place!🤯 Per mgmt, they forgot to put in the bolt to hold it because too many people working on my car (AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL! My opinion) 😤 Thank you for filling up my gas tank for my inconveniences, as mgmt stated, but a professional job on my vehicle wouldve been enough. Calibre ended up doubling the time and labor cost including a car rental, which was money lost on their behalf. Lots of training needed at this site! From receptionist desk through to General Mgmt. Wish this review couldve been more positive, but it was an honest one.

They have the WORST communication skills. I felt like I didn’t matter and neither did my car. I was hit by a driver who was not paying attention. Their insurance was covering everything and when I got a call that it was ready, they fed me incorrect information about how my vehicle could not be released because I didn’t have a check that supposedly issued to me. Once I spoke with my adjuster, she let me know that the information was false. She then called Abra, told them to release my vehicle upon pickup, and they would be billed. I get there to pick up my car, and they told me once again that my vehicle could not be released because “the adjuster told us not to release your vehicle”. I then called the adjuster, to which, at this point she is annoyed as well. Because they didn’t notate my file correctly and once again fed me the wrong information. After getting my vehicle released, I noticed that there were more scratches on my vehicle, I was missing a rubber spacer in my door frame, and overall quality and care was non existent. This whole situation has been an inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Just left this place. Should have heeded the reviews but thought maybe it was just a few isolated incidents. Whoever said bad communication...true. Whoever said the front desk lady was rude...true. When I walked in there was no, “How can I help you?@ She literally just looked at me. She was talking to me like I was a child. I would strongly urge everyone to avoid this place. I took my car in to get the front bumper fixed from a minor fender bender. They said it would take at least a week to fix (as expected from a good body shop), however, two days after dropping my car off the work was complete. At the time I was pleasantly surprised but looking back I can now see they rushed the work. The day after I received the car back I realized my A/C was not working and the outside temperature gauge was broken as well. I called them and asked if they could look at it as I was sure something must have happened when they fixed the front end of the car as it was working perfectly before I brought it in. The lady at the front desk was very rude and reluctant to have me bring my car back in. I took it back the next day and the mechanic spent all of 10 mins looking at the car just to say yeah the A/C is not working and we didnt do anything/ we are not responsible. They totally dismissed me and the damage they did to my car. I then took the car to a trusted family mechanic and he spent about 2 hours looking the car over to find that Abra never put back my ambient temperature sensor on the front end of my car. It was 100% a mistake by Abra. A simple fix that took no time to install but Abra wouldnt even take the time to look at my car. These people do not care about their customers at all. Save yourself time and grief and go somewhere else. These guys dont deserve your business.

Unfortunately, many insurers force you to use them. I will NEVER go again. The receptionist is rude. Im in the middle on my stars simple because my car is still being worked on.I had my car dropped off Tuesday night, Dec 26th after hours. Wednesday morning I came in and the inspecter went over the damage with me. He said hed be working on the estimate and phone me later that day or on Thursday. I have yet to hear from anyone. With Abra the corporate beauracracy comes first and customer service last. I went in recently to have a bumper cover painted after a very light hit (a very simple job). I had an estimate done and they scheduled me for an 11 am appointment to drop the vehicle off on a monday. I showed up at 8am on monday because I had another obligation. My family was in the body shop business and figured it would as simple as dropping the keys off and signing a release form. Oh was I wrong.This is when the bureaucratic pandemonium ensued. The first reaction I got was Why are you here your appointment was at 11am. They claimed they could work me in but I sat in their waiting room for 45 minutes and was utterly ignored. After 15 minutes I offered to have my friend drop me off at 11am so I could satisfy my appointment they claimed they could work me in. 30 minutes later I was still sitting there. I approached an employee and asked what the status was and got a blank look. I told them I had to go and wished to cancel my appointment. I expected a manager to intervene. It didnt happen. They let a sale walk out the door.I happily took my business to a family owed business across town to Wrens. They gave me an estimate and told me they could start on it immediately. I dropped off my vehicle and then the owner gave me a ride home all within 40 minutes. Very impressed. Abra could use a lesson from these guys.Also a few basic pleasantries would be nice. This is coming from someone who grew up in the midwest and spent years in New Jersey. The moral of the employees appear to be at rock bottom. I work for the federal government and have never seen beauracracy as rampant as this.

Im sorry you didnt have the information posted anywhere that you dont do any new business or touch any new vehicles on Fridays inside or outside your business or on your website.Im the one paying for it. Why do you need to know if Im getting my money from my own account or from insurance? Do you charge different rates, upcharge/gouge differently, or do different quality of work depending on the source of the money? You will be paid by my hand for any and all work.
