When I shop at Publix at least 99.7% of the time I am shopping for a customer via Instacart. Their employees are awesome to help find items that are hard to find. Because instacart doesnt always tell us the correct aisle to shop. I give it four instead five stars and this would be the same for any Publix some of their setup is just backwards straight up backwards. This store on Chapel Hill road is not nearly as bad as some.

Everyone is always so helpful here, but this time I had to...LOAD MY OWN GROCERIES IN THE CART after they were bagged. Honestly, they seem to be extremely short staffed as evidenced by the unusually SUPER LONG LINES. All in all though, this is the best grocery store in town, so I wont be switching.

Had a not customer focused experience in their deli today. The young man helping us paid just enough attention to us to make our sandwiches, but because he had an ear bud in his left ear everything else during our interaction was him talking to someone else. Last time I checked Publix was very focused on the customer experience and this definitely did not provide a good customer experience.

Arrived at the Deli counter about 6:15pm and only about 1/3 of items were on the hot bar. Came for the 20 piece wings and no wings prepared at all.

Hands down the best grocery store! They have everything and specialize in Latin ingredients and Items! … I get greeted coming in the door and while shopping I’ll get asked by one of the employees if I need help finding anything!!! I love this Publix !! … you’ll find everything you need in this one store!

When I am at Publix 99.5% of the time I am shopping for Instacart. For the most part I find Publix to be clean, well organized, and theres always someone available to help you regardless of what department you might be in.

Love Publix Because They Care About Their Customers!Most of the time I have a great shopping experience at Publix.Pros:- Great management. If I ever have questions or concerns the members of the management team always listen and do their best to be helpful. If there is a item youd like them to carry ask one of their managers and theyll do their best.- Great Knowledgeable Staff. Always helpful. If I cant find something and ask for assistance the staff member not only tells me where its located but walks me all the way to the item. Nice!- Great customer service. The associates at the customer service counter are always courteous & friendly.- Meat & Seafood Dept is awesome. They are full service meat department. I love that they will even cut or grind meat to your specifications. If you want thicker steaks they will cut them as thick as you want. Always a friendly staff.- Bakery Department is super. Sometimes I just want just ONE treat without having to buy a box. I like that if I want one donut or two dozens that I can get what I want. Other stores only have pre-packaged pastries.- Great Deli. Great sandwiches, fried & rotisserie chicken.- Clean Shopping Carts. Even before COVID I was a stickler for clean carts. A team member always sprays & wipes the carts.Cons:- Only issue is that the Deli gets pretty back logged at times especially dinner & lunch time. This is a sign of how good their food is.

High quality products and ohhhh so clean... but those prices... YIKES! Even still, I would not buy fruit, vegetables or meat anywhere else in Dville!!!!!

GREAT customer service! The associate in the bakery went out of her way to help me and eventually sliced a baguette to meet my needs. Another gentlemen personally walked me to an aisle to help me find what I was looking for.

Everything was fully stocked. The employees (stockers/cashiers) were nice and they even have plastic bags Incase you forget your reusable bags at home.

Nicely organized store and generally quick checkout. However, dont go at dinner time looking for precooked food. They rarely have what you need when you want it. Chicken is always still cooking when you get there and the sides look like they were cooked a week ago.

This isn’t the closest Publix to me, but it’s such a pleasure to shop here because of the customer service. (That can always be subjective from person to person so draw your own conclusions) Associates like Cara and Sara, even the younger associates are extremely helpful no matter how swamped they are. I am grateful for that type of customer service. The parking lot can be dangerous at times though, (**like throughout the metro Atlanta area these people in Douglasville will hit you where you walk**) so mind your surroundings. Most school days, days leading up to holidays and imminent storms or pandemics mean that if you show up here before 12pm, you’re going to be in for a crowded crazy store environment. Before 12pm, you will find navigating this store is painless and quite pleasant. Nonetheless, if you come into this store with solid energy and give the associates the chance to help you, they will exceed your expectations!!

I went to Publix for lunch at the deli. I wanted a meatball sub. This is the second or maybe third time that THEY DIDNT HAVE MEATBALLS FOR THE MEATBALL SUB!!!!I ask you, who runs a deli and doesnt keep the main components for a promoted menu item!!!This isnt a Mom and pop roadside stand. I expect more from Publix and I am disappointed. I dinged 2 stars for this... Reluctantly ordered a turkey sub and it was good as always. I think the server was embarrassed that her management team doesnt keep up with critical menu supplies for her customers.

My worse experience ever at this location. I waited over 10 mins before the sandwich guy asked me what would I like. Mind you one is in any of the lines and he is cleaning the station. Even though that takes time, i wouldve loved if he would acknowledge i had been waiting for a while and an apology wouldve been great as well. After waiting for 10 more minutes, he continues to clean the station and walks away. By this time Im annoyed. He never came back until I asked for a Manager. But even then he still didnt help me because there wasnt a manager present to ask him to take care of myself as well as the other 3 customers behind me. So Im livid at this point and I took my money to another one on the other side of town. Im disappointed and will not be back to this one ever!

Clean neat orderly and organized

If you cant hire anyone capable of making a sub and wrapping it in paper, just close the sub station. You cant expect me to pay $10 for a sub where every valuable bit of the sub is melted to the paper and not have me write a bad review. And wrapped so badly a bunch of the insides are actually outside the wrap loose in the bag. Im not even rating up or down the fact that toppings and bread choices were out of stock.

I will start by saying that I love the employees at this location. Every-time my son and I come to the store we are always warmly welcomed.Unfortunately, I have a problem with this locations quality of food and integrity. Countless times I bought items that were expired. Recently, I bought Pita bread and the expiration date said 3/13, but today is 3/5 and the bread already has mold on it. This is unacceptable and does not represent the quality of food Publix markets to its customers. I plan on escalating this issue to corporate being that its happened several times. This has to stop.

The bakery & produce departments went the extra mile to match a cake & balloon bouquet that I ordered to a napkin I dropped by! They were beautiful & made the birthday girl very happy. The cake was fresh and delicious. Everything was ready on time Sunday morning for me to pick up. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is clean & well organized. I go out of my way to shop at this store even though there is one closer to my home.

I have been in Publix everyday this week because its close to my job and every single time I have seen at least one employee wearing their mask on their chin or under their nose.Of course their fresh made foods are delicious but Im still disappointed.

At customer service and only one person is helping some employees and one else came around to assist when there were other customers in line waiting. Im a first timer and it was pretty legit. I like the whole fresh food and easy aisle labeling they have. The whole Breakfast Food and Breakfast Meat made my shopping experience easy and quick. Plus you dont need a members card to get the discounts. If its listed 2/$5 you get two for five lol.
