Who doesnt like chocolate! Great place for sweets. Good quality. A little expensive but worth the splurge

Im giving them 3 stars because in the past they have been awesome. But today was terrible. There was only one line regardless if you prepaid or were buying and picking out your items in the shop. There were only eight or nine people in front of me, and it took 68 minutes for them to help me. And I asked them to look for my order while I was at the door or it would have been longer. I know its a pandemic. The guy says they were short-handed. But theres no excuse for not having someone at least get the upcoming orders ready for people that had already placed them and paid. The counterman said that he would start doing it after I left. There were probably 20 to 25 people when I left they they might have to wait over 2 hours. This is just unacceptable.

Delicious chocolate cover oreos and strawberries. We went during the princess belle meet and greet and my kids loved it. We will be back again

Best of the BEST! Chocolate Covered Cafe (aka Melted) has the yummiest sweets and the juiciest strawberries! Their carrot cake is amazing and the chocolate covered caramel apples are to die for!!! Pre- order because I highly recommend 👌

Omg...i love this place... over the top milkshakes are incredible.. everything is chocolate covered (hint the name) and everything is awesome. Service is so nice .. great add to city of Downey

Hands down best chocolate covered strawberries around. And dont forget the cupcakes.... so many delicious and fun flavors. Love love love this place and have been coming here for years. Best thing to do is follow them on instagram for online ordering and special occasions.

The owners are super friendly and they have the BEST cupcakes 100% would recommend!!! And the oats over ice is worth trying it’s addicting 👌

Decadent! Thats the best word to describe this places food! They only serve desserts! Tiny little place that you really have to look for. They are just North of the Mc Donalds and Wal-mart grocery store. North of Imperial on the East side of Paramount. WORTH LOOKING FOR! Their milkshakes are all served in mason jars that you get to keep. I had the Chocolate Chip Cookie one. AMAZING! So thick and rich and top with a mountain of whipped cream. The chocolate covered strawberries are so good and reasonably priced. The cheese cake and apple slices burst in your mouth with flavor. Everything tastes so good and they are so cute. Only been here a couple of times. There is only a SMALL seating area. I would recommend to plan on taking it to go.

Simply delicious. Not overly sweet. The mini ice cream cookie sandwich and messy look made it even more enticing. Definitely will come back to try a few other shakes. (Cookie Shake)

Worst customer service. I waited an hour and 40 minutes to walk out with nothing. First at 5pm they had a sign saying they were on break until 530 then changed it to 6pm then waited a long time because the girl was slow at taking the order ahead of me and kept saying she couldn’t do that. Then when I ordered she had no coffee and couldn’t take a hundred dollar bill on a $70 order. I liked this place but I don’t think I’ll ever go back

Don’t say you open at a certain and not be there. I was waiting for over 30min for you guys to open the doors with many other costumers and you guys never once came. I knocked and even tried to open the door and no answer. Very unprofessional for running a business. If you’re going to run a business and say you open at 11 BE THERE BEFORE 11 and not have angry costumers waiting. This wasn’t the first time either you guys ran super late don’t know what the deal is here...

Not much variety but it did taste amazing..

They no longer serve the milkshakes in a mason jar that are on many photos of past visitors. They dont have milkshake s at all just smoothies.

The owner is so nice. They have a good variety for great prices. Everything we ordered was amazingly delicious and so pretty.

Honestly, the hugely overpriced cupcake tasted lime corn bread. Terrible. 👎

I love this place . Been coming here since they opened and I love that they keep adding new items to their menu. Their prices are super reasonable. For those saying milkshakes are expensive.... have you heard of black tap or big ds ..... these guys have done their homework on the items they sell and the prices for their items are super competitive, considering they offer higher quality ingredients. The owners are really humble and the workers have great customer service. Definelty give them your business before they get so popular and they have a long wait. (Because it will eventually happen )You will not be disappointed!

Today was a mess! Overly crowded and the quality of my two drinks wasn’t all that great. It’s overpriced for what they offer. $9 for a milkshake? Got a smoothie and it tasted like a homemade banana smoothie with way too much protein powder. Unfortunately I think the ones working behind the counter were overwhelmed and couldn’t work under the circumstances. We waited over 20mins for a half ass drink

It wasnt good. Everything we got tasted old. Dont buy into the hype. This place is over priced for okay quality.

This place should be called chocolate covered heaven!! Every single thing here is HEAVENLY!!! AND they have vegan options which is a huge plus.

Today was my first time here . I bought my kids and myself white covered strawberries. Omg so good ! Bright red big juicy strawberries . One of the best chocolate strawberries Ive had.
