We had an amazing service experience at Hangar 15 in Draper today! My son found himself in the difficult situation of having a serious issue with his bike and his first big race of the season is tomorrow morning. Despite the fact that the shop was slammed with more work than it could handle, Cody went the extra mile to work us in and personally got my sons bike fixed so he could race. Weve been loyal Hangar 15 customers for many years, but Codys extraordinary service today, when we needed it the most, was next level! He made a huge effort to help us and we wont forget that! I wouldnt hesitate to give Cody and the shop my highest recommendation!

I have been in the store a few times now and today was probably the best experience. I brought in my newly purchased MTB with brake and shifting concerns. Zach greeted me and immediately proceed to inspect and identify the issues, which he was able to resolve very promptly. I honestly expected to leave the bike with them for a day and never thought I’d be walking out in 20 minutes. In addition to that, he was knowledgeable and recommended additional products and gave me valuable maintenance tips. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back in the store.

It can be hard for a store thats part of a chain to provide great service but these guys knock it out of the park. Everyone Ive met has been super helpful and knowledgeable. When I break something they get me back on the trail right away, which is priceless.

Been coming to this shop since we moved to Draper 6 yrs ago. Always a great selection parts, accessories and bikes. But the best part of the shop is their service area. Kenny is amazing and has taken care of my bike since I bought it new. Would never take one of my bikes anywhere else.

I have used Hangar 15 service a couple of times. The first time I had nothing but a great experience. The most recent time, I had them do a bike build. I was very disappointed in the service. First, they wanted to tell me all the reasons they couldnt do the build. Saying the front wheel wouldnt work as it was set up from QR and not thru axle. I simply pulled the adapter out of the hub and it was thru axle compliant. Then it was an issue with the fork to the wheel. Again, I had to point out a solution. I then asked for tubeless setup and was willing to pay extra. They said the wheels were not tubeless compatible. By that time I was done with their service group. The wheelset is compatible and I set the tires up as tubeless. I then made one ride on the bike and had an awful chirping sound. This time I used a different service provider. They found the back wheel loose with play in it. They solved the problem with no issues. After using Hangar 15 without any problems the first couple of times, I will never go back.

Usually dont prefer this place but the outside shop guy that helped me did really good quick job and wasnt degrading like other visits👍👍

Sometimes you dont always get the most knowledgeable guys big chain bike shops. My fiance and I went to this location to look some mountain bikes. We were really impressed with the staff there. The guy helping us out, Ethan, gave us a lot of 1 one 1 personalized attention. I was really impressed with his knowledge base. We probably spent two hours there trying 4 different kinds of bikes. We found the one that felt the best and purchased it! Thanks again Ethan!

If I could give this location a 6 star review I would. They totally saved me tons of money and time in finding a new seat post part that broke on my bike. The bike tech employee took the time to help find the part, which required more work on his end to look through several seat posts to find the one I needed. Great service and awesome selection of gear for rodies, triathletes, and mountain bikers. I will gladly make the trek here from the west side for all my biking needs.

Came in to get an adjustment on my derailer and they took care of it right on the spot. Amazing service and the price was very reasonable. Will be riding tomorrow thanks to them!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Walked around the store trying to get info on road bikes for upcoming triathlon and finally walked up to the register and asked for help. I was told I would be helped after a check out I waited 25 minutes I got tired of it and walked out. It seamed like more social time for employees in groups talking then helping customers.

Have had a couple of small issues with a new bike, and their service department (especially Mike) has been extremely helpful throughout each visit! The fast and accurate service was much appreciated. Mike knows his stuff. I will definitely be using this Hangar location for future service needs!

Super quick service, very friendly! I was able to call and have them set aside a bike that was the last one in Utah and picked it up the same day. Bike was already good to go, they threw the pedals on for me and off I went. My wife is super happy with the bike, Hanger 15 has always been great! I have purchased 4 bikes for over $15k from Hanger 15 (different locations too) and each experience has been great!

Great Specialized Dealer. Always have the latest gear and the store is well maintained. I’ve sent many friends and acquaintances to the store and they’ve bought many bikes over the years. Highlight for this store is the lead mechanic...he is extremely knowledgeable and capable and that makes the whole service department strong. He knows as much about vintage bikes as he does new tech. I’ve been buying Specialized bikes since 1985 (my family owns one of the first Specialized Dealers back East, known Mike Sinyard for many years) and I’ve never known anyone better than Kenny. So (Mike, store owner) take good care of him.

Nice people. Helpful. Needed a caliper brake for a rim wheel brake conversion, an unusual ask, and no issues. Got exactly what I needed.

This used to be my favorite bike shop in the valley. Not any longer. Mechanic was not very interested in assisting to resolve our issues. More concerning was that they arent enforcing the mask mandate. Apparently theyre more concerned about avoiding conflict than protecting the health of their customers. All you anti-maskers this is the place to shop. Thanks for the reply, owner. Yes this was the Draper shop.

I went in because I was riding my bike lots more which was causing me pain in my wrists and lower back. After chatting with Mike about my bike he asked to see it and immediately knew the issue. I was riding a small frame bike (purchased used from a friend) and needed to be riding on a medium frame! Mike brought out a few bikes for me to try and I found one that feels perfect for me, fun to ride and no longer causes me pain. Excellent no pressure sales & service!

Hangar 15 is AWESOME! My husband needed a replacement drivetrain. Most shops were 2+ weeks out. The service guy (I wish I remembered his name!) explained to me his exact recommendation and got the whole thing done less than a week later. His bike is running GREAT!! We will be back, especially when we are upgrading to new bikes. Trustworthy and efficient.

UPDATED ** It’s been resolvedOk, this has happened to me multiple times now so I have to write a review. The service department is absolutely terrible. For this most recent example, I had them install some new tubeless tires. When I came back to pick up the bike they had installed the tires with the wrong tape. They recognized the mistake so they fixed it. On ONE tire. Next morning rear was flat. So I took it back for them to install the proper tape, and they said they were out of that tape. Why didn’t they tell me that the night before instead of not telling me they didn’t do the rear tire? So we worked out a deal over the phone that they would transfer tape from another store. The employee was going to call me back in “fifteen minutes” but 2 hours went by. So I called them back and nobody knew what I was talking about. So I had to rehash the entire conversation over again. This is not the first time I’ve made a service agreement that got lost in the noise. This happened another time a few months ago, a whole week went by with the parts in store but no work being done because they didn’t put into their system what I told them to do. So a week later I literally had the same conversation again. So I’m annoyed and will not be returning to Hangar in the future. I would advise others to avoid service there as well.

Great customer service! I had won a bike in a drawing from a store down the street. Planned to ride it home from the store, but noticed the tires were flat and the handlebars needed some adjustments. Mark saved me from a long walk home! I offered to pay, but he wouldnt accept. Mark was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to Hangar when its time for a new bike. Judging by the condition of my prize bike, it may be sooner rather than later 😂

My fiance and I came in to buy myself my first mountain bike! They had a lot of inventory and we loved our sales rep, Ethan! He rode with me to make sure I felt confident as I tested out a few bikes. I left feeling confident with my purchase. Only wish there were more girly colors :)

UPGRADING FROM 2 STARS TO 3 STARSAfter being completely annoyed with the customer experience, I went riding this weekend. My bike was tuned up really well. I couldnt believe how quiet it was and how well everything performed. Despite my customer experience in fairness to HANGAR 15 whoever worked on my bike did a GREAT JOB! I cant quite give FOUR STARS but TWO STARS is probably too harsh. BTW I also appreciate seeing the response to my post. I do understand that things are crazy right now.In the past I would’ve given this bike shop high reviews but most recently I got some bike repairs done here and the customer service is really poor. Every time I called or checked on things people didn’t seem to be very good at locating my bike or answering my questions. Folks here seem a little defensive and on edge. My whole experience was pretty impersonal. I won’t be back anytime soon. I believe the actual work done on my bike was adequate but the general attitude and communication with me leaves doubting and just generally bugged by the whole experience.

Great place. Very helpful.No other shop wanted to help us for a less then 5min repair on my kids bmx bike. My kid had state Qualifying race and the bike repaired the guy at HANGAR 15 Understood and fixed it real quick. Lifesaver forsure. These guys just made a new life long client. Thanks guys

Hangar 15 usually has what I need in cycling. Their employees are good and their inventory pricing is generally competitive. Considering theres currently a pandemic and I care for 6 elderly folks, I have to stick with stores that value my safety and the cleanliness of their store. Hangar isnt one of these places. They dont ask patrons to cover their faces and maybe one or two employees covers theirs. Considering Utahs death and hospitalization rate is on the rise I have to cut Hangar 15 out of my errands for now.

I went in to look at a road bike I had found online. When I arrived Mark showed me the bike (Roubaix) and also suggested I looked at a different model from the same brand (Tarmac). He was very patient as I rode both bikes multiples times in the parking lot. In the end I went with the bike that he suggested and I am really glad I did. It is the perfect road bike! Everyone in the store was very helpful. Thanks Mark, Mike (for the bike fit) and Hangar 15!

Their wagon cut me off today in the parking lot. I slammed on my brakes as I was going straight and had the right of way. Their wagon would have backed into me or T-boned me. I won’t be buying my bikes from them ever again.

I cannot express enough how pleased I am with every interaction Ive had at this location!Sadly, very sadly, I had my bike stolen from my garage last week. The bike that was stolen was a Trek that was purchased to replace my Specialized Rockhopper that was stolen in late 2014, also from my garage. After only having this Trek for a handful of months, I was devastated to have to replace it, again! Furious, too!We came in this evening to once again, get a new bike for myself, the same Trek. Their website stated they had it in stock so we went down to see.As always, great and flawless service, I cannot express this enough!! It was confirmed the bike was in stock, it just hadnt been yet assembled. We were advised that it should be ready for pick up tomorrow and well get a call once its done.The wonderful guy who helped us out also did an unbelievable act of service; he said because wed had such bad luck (and probably because the other bikes were purchased through them as well and on record) hed like to give us $80 in store credit! I was beyond amazed and taken back by the kindness and generosity! Forever, I will be a loyal customer to this Canyons location.Although I wish we didnt have to keep replacing stolen bikes, I couldnt ask for a better experience with dealing with our LBS!

Visited Hangar 15 looking to purchase a bicycle helmet for my toddler. Was greeted as I walked in, directed to the helmets. To this point the experience was acceptable. We were able to find a helmet but wasn’t sure if the fit looked correct. We walked over to a young kid working on the computer, politely asked if the fit looked correct. Honestly this should have taken him 3 seconds to assess. There wasn’t any customers around him, hence asking for his help. Instead of quickly saying looks good or go the size up. He can’t pull himself off the computer screen for 5 seconds, just points to the front register and says Sam will help you. Well Sam currently had 5 customers waiting for him to check out. We left and went up the street to Go-Ride bought a helmet. Received awesome service.

I have been riding and racing for over 25 years and dealt with dozens of shops during those years. Usually you get a good shop, but they fail in one area or another. Sometimes the service is good, but the sales team is poor. Sometimes they don’t have enough product or supplies so you have to go somewhere else to meet all your needs. This IS NOT the case at Hangar 15. They have amazing brands (Specialized, Trek, Scott), phenomenal nutrition, excellent selection on gear,.... and best of all - the best service department I have ever been around. Kenny Charles manages the service department. He knows every brand and has years of experience with every model, component, and bike on the planet earth. Cody, Zach, and Travis are constantly exceeding my expectations. Mark Miller in sales is always willing to order anything at the drop of a hat if they don’t have it.Lastly - Mike Pratt has owned this shop for over 25 years and has learned the value of a shop being clean and tidy. I would recommend Hangar 15 to anyone looking for an excellent experience. In an era where online sales seems to be taking over, I feel grateful to have a shop who still values the belly to belly experience.If I could give 6 stars, I would. Keep doing it boys... some of us still value a relationship with a local team of bike professionals.

I had some work done on my bikes at Canyon Bicycles. Cody did a fabulous job of getting my bikes cleaned and ready to go. I needed to swap out brake pads and another one of the awesome service techs got that done in no time. My mom and 10 year old niece were looking for new bikes. I sent them into Canyon Bicycles. Troy did a fabulous job helping them find the right bike for their needs and price point. The service team also showed my sister how to change a flat. She was preparing to do her first 50 mile Grand Fondo without me and realized that she needed to know what to do if she flatted. They also showed her how to install her new bike rack on her car. My mom, sister, and niece were very impressed with the entire Canyon Bicycles team. They had an amazing experience. They will be back as they need more accessories and when my niece grows into another bike. Troy even managed to find a helmet my mom likes and will wear.

I’m not a mountain biker nor a street cyclist, but I wanted a good quality bike to ride around town and enjoy some of the paved trails.Jason helped me find a nice hybrid bike with suspension that suits my needs. I’ve since added a basket on the back so that my dog can go along for the ride.When someone I knew wanted a bike, we checked out a few other shops before returning to Hangar. There we had the good fortune of having Jason again assist us.This is a serious bike store, complete with pro-bikes running into the thousands of dollars, add-ons, a knowledgeable staff, and a repair/tune-up shop. (I had my front tire fixed twice there due to puncture weeds. The second time I had the tube filled with goo, and I haven’t had a problem since.)I have had my bike for 6 months now, and it’s great! There is something freeing in pedaling hard and fast and feeling the rush of air on your face.

We have been to Canyon Bicycles multiple times for multiple reasons. My husbands bike needed some major repairs. I brought in the bike and told the guys everything my husband knew was wrong and what he wanted checked out. They called me later that day to make sure the costs to repair were okay with me. They had the bike done the next day (I was told it would be 2 days before they would get to it). On a separate occasion we took my oldest son to get a new bike helmet. An employee asked if we needed anything and we told him we were fine. He came by again about 10 minutes later to make sure we were still doing okay. He asked us who we were shopping for and we told him our son. He informed us that the helmet we were getting technically fit but it would be too small in a year. He got us a helmet that would fit for years and even spent time with my son picking out colors and style. Not once did he rush us and answered our questions when it came to our other son and what helmet he should be wearing. Have we been there and had to wait a few minutes for help? Yes...BUT we wait because when they do help you they take their time with you and give you fantastic customer service!

I had some work done at the store that was not done correctly. I realize that this happens from time to time but Kenny at Hangar 15 was instrumental in getting my bike up and running and covered the parts and labor. Because of this experience and others that I have had with Zack and the rest of the employees, I will continue to use Hangar 15 as my preferred bike store for parts and service. Thanks!

Id recommend getting your tubeless tires done at a different shop. Ive had more issues with these tubeless tires in less than a year compared to my old bike (tubeless set up at a different shop) that I had for 5 years.

This is a great bike shop. Its a longer drive from my house but worth it because of the outstanding customer service.

Great bike shop. Needed to change pedals on a road bike. As quickly as I entered I was asked if I needed help. I told the young man at the counter what I was after and he said follow me and he showed me the pedal selection they have, explained the differences and quickly had me on my way. I was impressed that he actually walked me to the pedals section rather than just point that-a-way.

Went in for some help after my son some how intertwined the chain and twisted it. Alex in service put it up on the rack and helped me out. Even he couldn’t believe how bad it was mangled. From the customer service to quality of goods, this place is awesome!

I do not usually write reviews but today I must. My wife is wheelchair bound and her chair has needed new tires for some time. I finally ordered a new pair and received them through the mail today.I was very excited to put on the tires. I have fixed many bike tires in my life and thought this should be easy.Her wheelchair has a solid core tubes instead of a inter tube, and it was anything but easy. After removing the old tires and spending a few hours wrestling the new ones I realized I was not able to get them on the rim without destroying them in the process.I needed help, so I ran down the street to the bike shop closest to our home. I went in carrying the rims, cores and tires showed the mechanics who quickly told me how difficult it is to do and said it would be extremely expensive if they could, but they were not interested in giving it a try for any amount of money. They said try a motorcycle shop.We went to a motorcycle shop they said they did not have the tools that would fit a tire that small. But they said go try Canyon Bicycle Shop in Draper on 12300 south. I said I’ve already been to a different bicycle shop in the area and they couldn’t help us. The gentleman said I know but Canyon Cycle in Draper is better.So, here we are a couple that needs help with a wheelchair entering another bike shop. Talk about feeling a little out of place, and we are asking for help with something that is hard to do and it’s not a bike.We could see a young man named Derek Jensen working on a bike in the back. He was very pleasant and asked if he could help us. I showed him the parts and explained that I couldn’t fix it. He put down what he was doing and said can I look at them for a minute.He put the parts on his workbench, grabbed some special tools and a few minutes later we were back in business, I could not believe it. He happily and willingly helped us as we watched.He was very reasonable on the charge, and as we headed out the door to the car he said let me help you get your parts to the car.What a wonderful experience, what a great guy, and what an asset to this business. I can see why this business has a good reputation it has good people. If there is such a thing as Karma Derek should be getting some good karma coming his way.Thanks again.

Troy Williams and the rest of the staff at Canyon Bicycles in Draper were amazing. They took the time to answer all my question and helped me feel informed enough to make my own decisions. I went to 7 different bike shops all over looking for the best price, options and assistance. I found them on accident and I am so glad I did! This was the only place I felt gave me what I wanted and needed to move forward. I found out later there is another affiliate store closer to my house for service! I recently purchased a bike here and my overall experience was great! Ben provided objective feedback to my many questions and provided insight into what I was looking to do with the bike. The mechanics gave me useful tips for maintaining the bike and I was especially impressed that the manager honored the price that wasnt published clearly online. I recommend Canyon Bicycles in Draper without reservation and look forward to doing business here again.

$40 to put on a pair of children’s training wheels that bent and broke within 30 minutes of a 4 year old riding on the sidewalk.

I was unable for the life of me to get my petals off of my bike. I called them and they said it should only take them five minutes or so and they would do it for about five dollars. When I went to pay they just thanked me for coming in and told me to just think of them next time when I need bike parts. Being able to go into a place and be done within five minutes and just thanking me for coming in and asking for business in the future and an easy five stars in my book. I will go here for any help I need with bikes every time in the future.

This has been my go to local bike shop for the last 2+ years. This store has a good selection and the staff love biking so you can ask them a question and they can give you advice from their own experience with a bike or gear.I had professional bike fit done by them two years ago. For what I paid, I would think they would keep things on file, but they dont. So make sure you get a copy from them after the fit.

Amazing service. They go way above & beyond. I wasn’t able to get to the store as early as I hoped, but they didn’t make a big deal about it & stayed late to finish up my bike so I can hit the trails first thing tomorrow. Can’t thank them enough! I’ve had very good experiences at both their Riverton & Draper locations.

Great service!! I have been going to Canyon Bicycles for the past 7 years and have always had a great experience there. I purchased my first road bike here and found the sales person to be very knowledgable and very patient with me to answer all my questions. Many of the people who work at Canyons have race experience as well. One of the best things about this shop is the team atmosphere. All levels are invited to race on the team with the only requirement being a passion for cycling. They also have an up and coming Juniors program and one of the shop employees organizes weekly womens rides for all levels. Its not only a shop where you can get great service and find the best bikes in the world, you can also find great people to ride with and a friendly social atmosphere. Shop Canyons!

Great service on any bike by knowledgeable mechanics. I have been in with several issues for both my wifes and my bikes and they have been resolved quickly. With very reasonable prices and good service from the store staff you cant go wrong getting a new ride from Canyon Bicycles. Just got my granddaughter a Trek with training wheels from here - cant start them too early!

My experience at Canyon has been 1st rate. They have the most current inventory of any of the shops Ive been in. The shop manager has been in the business forever and knows his stuff. I like the friendliness of the staff and the knowledge of the mechanics. They are good about getting special orders completed in a timely manner. I would recommend them to the beginner or the pro!

I would like to say it was a great experience buying my mountain bike from canyon Bicycles of Draper . Great assistance from Jill and Troy and staff on buying my apparel they were very helpful plus absolutely knowledgeable. They did not try to sell me things i did not need but did show me the apparel that i would need to get for the winter weather just around the corner they were right on the money and i thank them for that.If your looking for great honest bicycle buying experience go to one of Canyon bicycles three locations Draper, South Jordan and Provo youll be glad you did

Zach in the service department was great!!! Just bought a used Yeti and was having trouble getting the front Fox 36 adjusted correctly. Brought it in and Zach had it figured out and adjusted in 5 min. The previous owner had added 3 plastic fox air dampers. Zach took them out to get the shock back to factory setting. Thank you, great service! Will be back.

I have been in many times for service, and have also purchased a trail bike here. Each time Ive been somehow disappointed with my experience. I went in today to buy a spoke that I planned to swap out myself. Ive bought spokes from other shops before for $2ish. The service guy disappeared for about 20 minutes, seemingly to look for the part. He came out just in time to keep me from posting a neg review here. They didnt have exact part match, but close enough to do the job. Okay, no big deal. He offered to install it for me and said he would not charge labor. I was surprised and thought this might turn my visit into a very positive one. After he installed the spoke, we went to the register where he charged me $15! Just kidding on the positive experience. He said that he also trued the wheel, which I didnt ask for. Seems pretty dirty to me. I will now go to Go-ride or Thin Air, both are just up 123rd. Fool me once... fool me five times and I guess Im the fool now.
