Made the mistake of walking into this place. Lots of inventory. All of it insanely overpriced. More than double current retail at any other store. And it isn’t like you can’t find firearms or ammo anywhere else now either. It is readily available again. Most stores have plenty of inventory and fair prices these days. But not this place. Staff didn’t even acknowledge my presence. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!

I came in to have some smith work done and they asked if I wanted to shoot the gun in the next 2 or 3 years... They’re super rude just like everyone says and don’t seem interested in helping. They have glocks and other semi autos in stock but only because they’re charging 500 more than any other store (even in the current pandemic). The ammo they’re selling is over priced even for pandemic pricing. I would recommend going to one of the several other small gun shops in the area.

Prices are always higher then any other gun shop and old dudes are very rude and condescending

Just a bunch of grumpy old men not interested in helping anybody. All my friends warned me but i thought how bad can they be? Not very welcoming in there, boss man was asleep behind a computer and had to be woken up by one of the other guys every time there was an inquiry. I wont be going back.

Horrible place.

Great place. Went here to take my FSC test. After the test one of the persons working there, john, helped me with a gun I was looking for. He was very well informed. He took his time. He also gave me a lot of good tips for a first time gun buyer as my self.

Prices are almost double compare to Turners and Ammo brothers.

Classic gun store. Didn’t like it at first thought it was a bunch of old timers but they are a wealth a knowledge and though their fire arms are a little more pricy than average the service is well worth it.

The guys at Gunrunners are awesome! Not only are they friendly, but extremely helpful. I needed a inexpensive depressor deplunger bearing for my slide and the gentleman whom I wish remembered his name helped me, with not only installing the part but was very generous and let me have it without charge. Ive been a customer with them from the past, and they definitely offer top notch customer service! I highly recommend Gunrunners to any of my 2A friends.

They were helpful in fixing a small part on my antique shotgun and didnt even charge me! But they can be a little too laid back in their jobs and not necessarily show much initiative when asked more complicated questions

Besides being nice guys, they are patient with the novice, and quick to answer any questions in a professional manner. You only have to walk in and you will be greeted with a how can I help you. No waiting in line after pulling a number, like you know who. They know their weapons and their history, as well as having a gunsmith in store to handle those custom jobs. So if you are tired of being treated like a number, go visit their shop in Duarte. I feel like Norm walking into Cheers.Salute!

I do not know but I guess that I was lucky. In that I had a very good experience here.John was willing to work with me on buying a Sig Saur from him on Lay away. Hopefully everyone else that comes in there will have the same experience as I did today.

Spoke to Bruce.Paid more for my Mossberg than if I had gone elsewhere. It had to be special ordered. I was told it would arrive that Friday. it didnt arrive until a week later.I ordered some ammo and a case. I followed up with a request for some other items during that period. It was three weeks from the day I ordered the gun, and when I went to pick it up none of the items I ordered were there. when I showed disappointment at that they joked around about what a big deal it will be to return for the ammo.I was told that the ammo would be in later that week.I called back the next week when I didnt get a call. I was told that one of the items was there and that another shipment was due later that day, and that Id get a call back to confirm.Didnt hear back for about another week. I cancelled the ammo order. I will never visit this store again. Strangely enough, somehow I feel like theyd like it that way.

Very knowledgeable guys who helped trouble shoot some issues with my new AR builds. Price was fair and its nice having a local gunsmith for when things go wrong!Inventory is pretty limited so Id call ahead or check their website if youre in the market for some new hardware. I think Ill be picking up a new shotgun from them in the near future.

More of a hang out joint for the local good old boys & gun buffs than a full service gun shop. People work there have no people skills at all.I walked in on a Saturday & no one even asked if I needed any help, perhaps I dont fit the profile of a gun buyer !Owner sat behind the counter in front of a computer completely oblivious towards customers standing in front of glass display waiting to be helped. Also witnessed several regulars socializing with employees and walking behind the counter at will while new customers like myself are completely ignored.Hello! People dont walk into a gun shop on a hot Saturday afternoon because they are bored, they visit your business because they have a need.So I figured its a Saturday & theyre probably too busy to handle the volume, left & returned on a Wednesday evening instead.There was a Pacific Islander/Asian looking dude who walked passed me twice last time & strangely he walked passed me again three times yet completely ignored my presence. While standing around waiting for help, I witnessed a grumpy older man wearing glasses acting irritated with a customer because he has to explain some paperwork related to a gun purchase.Needless to say, I decided not to waste anytime in this place, left and happily spent my money elsewhere.You might just enjoy this place if you already know somebody there or belong to a local gun club of some sort, because youll find plenty of company. But if you are a new customer who does not project an economically desirable presence, youre better off elsewhere.

The guys behind the counter arent your typical salespersons. They dont take BS and can get testy, but if you can get past all that, they are a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom, whether your question is with regards to hunting, self-defense, or general firearms information. Dont expect Turners level customer service. If you want fake smiles and happy faces, this aint the place to go. If youre looking for profound information regarding every aspect of firearms possible, get over here and bear with the old guys.

Years ago whilst trying to clean my Rem 870 I reassembled wrong and freaked out. Thankfully enough the gunsmith here fixed my gun free ofcharge, never a bad experience here! Highly recommend supporting your local firearms store!!

I had a very good experience here. I went in to purchase 45 acp which is almost impossible to find. They had it. They were very nice and had no issues that other people said they encountered. I received better quality of service in the 6 mins I was there than at turners in Pasadena. Definitely recommending to friends.

Not attentive and didn’t seem to care that I stood around waiting for service as the attendant sat and fiddled at his desk telling me he didn’t know how to help me. They don’t seem very focused on customer service so I will go elsewhere.

Not many old school shops around anymore so its nice to come in and talk with these guys. They have the answers.

I wrote a review on this place a number of years ago but it was on Yelp! and it appears they have the ability to remove unwanted reviews. So here it is again. I took my revolver in and i asked them to dis-assemble it & clean it and check for anything outside of normal wear. I figured that if there were any issues they would spot them. They said $45, i said ok. So maybe a week later i pick it up and take it home. The following day, i take out my revolver and find oil and debris oozing out from several places. So, how can this happen if they dis-assembled it, and cleaned it ? What im thinking they did and what they thought they could sneak by with was to just use a spray or some other method that i didnt agree to. Thats not what i asked them to do. Thats not what they agreed to do. Thats not what i paid for. So, theyre done. I have never been by there again. And i wasnt gonna go back to hear their denials of what they did. Dont waste your time/money at this place. One star is too much.

I went in looking for a mini 14 that is being advertised on their website for $595. Walked in and two guys were fiddling around doing nothing behind the counter. No greeting or anything. After standing around for ten minutes they finally asked if I needed help. I told them I was there for a mini 14 and I was told they dont have any and that was the end of that. Keep in mind they have TWO listed on their website. Never going back. Worst service ever. Place doesnt even deserve to be in business.
