Great little place inside drug city. Home made kettle chips and cola. Perfect spot to grab lunch or get a milkshake. Very reasonable prices and old world feel.

The best find. Staff were so helpful in going over the menu. We got everything to go so we could eat it outside but cant wait until we can go back. Delicious food, creative drinks, and very convenient to shop at Drug Citys great liquor selection while you wait. And Taharka is obviously the best. We are going to make this a regular visit.

This place is awesome and I would definitely come all the time if I was a local because the food was delicious, the staff was the best and the prices totally reasonable! I even managed to get a whiskey flight to-go since we were driving.

Damn fine people, with a great atmosphere, that brings you back to the days of the good old ice cream parlor shops. Awesome milk shakes, ask for a Black Cow from Charles. Crab cakes, B.L.T. and pretzel bites top notch. Theres much more to the menu, but thats just my own normal order. Great prices as well.

An absolute gem inside the pharmacy, The Fountain was full of surprises: home flavored kettle chips, old fashioned soda fountain drink options with fun flavors, record playing jukebox, and home made hard seltzers that bring the place’s history as a speak easy back to life. Wonderfully friendly staff, would absolutely come back. Sorry, no photos of the food or ice cream, we were too busy enjoying it.

TLDR: Retro soda fountain in the back of The Drug Store Pharmacy/Liquor store that serves up handmade sodas, floats and cocktails. Also has a lunch/dinner service with tasty daily specials.Vibe: 5/5. Tucked away in the back left corner of The Drug Store Pharmacy, The Fountain is thoughtfully decorated to make you feel youre back in the 50s. A beautiful wood top bar occupies most of the parlor with ample stool seating. There are a handful of 2 tops as well as a couple booths for larger groups.Service: 5/5. The wait staff at The Fountain did a fantastic job in providing top notch hospitality from start to finish. Our server was quick to get us seated and beverage orders taken. Food and specialty drinks from the soda jerk came out quickly considering the extra time they take to prepare.Food/Drink: We ordered several things from both the food and drink menus and everything came out fantastic. Beverage wise, we ordered a black cow (root beer with vanilla ice cream mixed in) float, an old fashioned egg cream and a toasted strawberry milkshake. All ice cream based drinks are made with Taharka ice cream which is a local favorite based out of Hampden. On the food front, we ordered the reuben and the all American club. Both sandwiches were piled high with deli meat and came with a side of chips which can be tossed in an array of seasonings by request. Overall, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu and with most items below $8, the value cannot be beat!

Such a fantastic place!! I took my youngest son today for the first time.We had Chuck as our server he was amazing nice,funny, knew everything about the menu.The food was great the prices were great also.It is truly a hidden gem inside Drug City.If you havent been its a must go:)

Been twice - what a great addition to an already solid destination! Old fashioned goodness put together by staff that care. The milkshakes are absolutely memorable! Really good fresh fare at such reasonable prices, Drug City added another jewel to it’s crown!

The milkshakes and ice cream were amazing! The kettle chips are fantastic! Price was great and the staff was so friendly and hospitable! The ambiance of The Fountain takes you back in time. From the uniforms to the old school jukebox! All around a great time!

The only thing I would add to everyone else’s spot on great reviews is this is also the only ice cream place in Eastern Baltimore County that serves Taharka Brothers Ice Cream, which is one of Maryland’s best.

This place is amazing! Best Milkshakes around, killer sundaes, and the the food is amazing. Got their pulled pork sandwich special tonight and it was so delicious. The atmosphere is a old school soda/icecream bar with a working jukebox! Service is too notch

I love Drug City. Finding this little restaurant inside the store was so neat!A flashback to the 50s, simple menus, Root beer Floats, Handspun sodas!I recommend ordering a GingerAle or Cherry Coke. Yum 😋Handicap accessible. They even have a working Jukebox with past time hits.Icecream flavors are simple but they offer a dairy free option.I love this place ❤
