Keira went above and beyond by coming to our home on a Saturday evening to help us get our unit up and running after our electrician was out. The delivery guys we’re very professional and polite. Earlier this spring my husband and I came in to talk about a fireplace for our home that is currently under construction. Malaika, (I believe was her name) was very short with us and seemed to be distracted. We ended up leaving without a purchase and feeling dumbfounded. This seems to be the norm for Durango though. We did find a company just north of them that was very attentive, and purchased our fireplace from them instead.

Our Stove-type Fireplace became obsolete due to age. We were advised by Smart and their competitor that we would need to buy a new one at a cost of over $4,000. But Kira at Smart went the extra mile to find a retro-fit for our existing stove. It works beautifully and cost a third of a new one. Were very pleased with their customer service as well.

Exceptional customer service! They were very patient as my rotten deck needed repair before we could place the new tub. It sat on their showroom floor for weeks while we waited for deck completition. It all came together and I couldnt be happier!!!!!

Malaika and her team have been with us through out our renovation. It first started with the replacement of the interior fireplace doors then we purchased a spa, later came the outdoor fireplace. Smart has always been very helpful. Answered all questions before sale of spa. We have had a couple of service calls and they tried to talk me through what was going on so I could fix the problem. When we did need someone to come out they came before the appointment date because they fit us in. I think they do a great job.

Smart did shower glass for two showers as well as a gas fireplace in our new home, and we couldnt have been happier with the products or the service provided during our purchasing process as well as the installation process. They also serviced an older hot tub that was at the house when we bought it, but not running. They cleaned it and got it up and running and again provided great service. Great products, exceptional service, and thorough follow-up make Smart Enterprises a pleasure to deal with!

The service crew of Clint & Pat did a very thorough job, with Clint explaining all that he was doing so I had complete understanding for operation and maintenance. And Malaika, the owner, provides excellent customer service on follow-up. I was very happy I used Smart Enterprises for my fireplace service.

Customer service and communication has been terrible from the beginning. We purchased a very expensive gas fireplace from this company. Smart Enterprises checked and approved the installation, but the sales person and service techs neglected to tell us that propane fuel would immediately leave a residue on the glass that is very difficult to remove. Numerous phone calls requesting advice regarding cleaning the glass produced a range of misinformation. A costly service call was recommended because The fireplace must need an adjustment to remedy the residue issue. Scheduling the service was a nightmare, with two no-shows. Turns out that no service was even needed. The fireplace functions fine, but now has glass with a permanent, baked-on residue from the fuel. If accurate information had been provided from the beginning, this problem and expense could have been avoided. When replacing the glass, well cut our losses and look elsewhere. Advise others to do likewise.

Lots of everything from outdoor retractable awnings to hot tubs in every size, shape, color to be had. Fireplaces of every kind, shower doors, windows, car windshield replacements, and custom picture framing. This place goes out of there way in customer service and every person seems cross trained. There are a lot of options in one compact show room, including a sauna!?

Best glass company in Durango in my opinion. Tried a few other places in town and none of the other companies seemed to want my business and couldnt get any glass cut for weeks... Smart Enterprises was more then willing to do the work, even with friendly beautiful smile!Now Ive been using Smart for everything the past few years; screen door repair, mirrors, windows, Plexiglas, spa parts, windshield chip repair, and most recently they crafted a huge display cabinet for me that came out amazing!!

Smart Enterprises is a classy business. I had a small glasswork project and the staff was prompt in getting me an estimate, scheduling was timely, and my overall experience was first rate. This is a great local business.

Our gas fireplace is now 6 years old. It will no longer provide enough current to power the thermostat. Only 4.5V at the thermostat. I called Smart Enterprises to schedule a service call to have it fixed as its getting cold. I was told they were scheduling for 6 weeks from now. really, ok. then the owner called and I was told because my wife left a scathing review they wouldnt come and repair our fireplace. You can read it below from a couple years ago. Seems like a honest complaint to me. In any case, they were never responsive to any requests we have made. To refuse to service their products because you complain about their customer service seems about what I should have expected from this company. There are much better options in Durango than this company. I encourage you to look for them.
