Excellent moving company! Jeanie saved us when we hired Durango Transfer to take over our move from another national moving company that failed to meet its commitments. Jeanie and her staff are experienced, knowledgeable and responsive. I highly recommend Durango Transfer!

This company went above and beyond, especially Rosie, who re-arranged a schedule to accommodate our family in a crisis and needing movers within 24hours notice. I would highly recommend them not only for their professionalism but also their compassion and courtesy.

The owners were great to deal with. I wouldnt hesitate to use them. They have been in business for many years and really know the moving business.

The driver Larry Dale was great but everything else about this business is not. International move to the Durango area......items shipped in a standard seagoing container but Durango transfer then said their insurance does not allow them to deliver items in someone elses container, so offloaded into storage until they could deliver and reloaded into one of their trucks.....an extra $1700 charged for this unanticipated and unneccesary procedure and one box lost. Beware unless you have extra deep pockets as I think they look for extra charges......

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. It took almost 2 full weeks to get our stuff when we were told it would be 10 days max, and then when it finally arrived the delivery guy couldnt find any helpers at the destination, so he ended up moving everything by himself. Due to that every piece of furniture had some sort of damage, and just about every box was crushed. To top it all off theyre only going to settle the claim at $0.60 per pound, not by the actual value of the items damaged. This has been an absolutely horrible experience! I have a lot more to say, but just typing this is making my blood boil.

The owner is the worst employer I have ever worked for. Her disposition is ugly, very unprofessional and she violates several employment laws. Her customer service is deplorable and leaves it to her Office Manager to calm situations that are unethical and/or lead to claims. It is common place to blame staff for her actions; she’s lucky she has good employees or she probably wouldn’t be in business.

Movers were courteous, professional and very efficient.

If you want or need to move, Durango Transfer is your place for courtesy, Quality and all the care for personal and professional belongings.

The movers themselves are great - the owner is NOT.

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my 16 yrs of furniture moves. The owner Jeanie is aggressive and a liar and trains her staff to behave just as she does.They don’t guarantee their work and don’t honor contracts.Please everyone BEWARE!!!
