Sierra redid our deck (posts, stairs, railings, gate, putting down Trex floors). We had a mixed experienced. The work turned out well, but communication was really bad. The first day the crew showed up they asked me what parts of the deck they were supposed to demo because no one had told them. They forgot they were supposed to put up a gate until we told them. I only heard from the Project Manager when I called him. The person who quoted the work never told the project manager to replace the posts, so we had to intervene to make sure it happened. All in all, even though the work looks good, the process was frustrating, and I wouldnt work with them again.

A friend recommended Sierra Structures to me, and I could not be more pleased. The whole experience of working with Matt, Kim, and the installation crew was pleasant from start to finish. At the consultation, Matt listened to every detail of our gate needs and followed through on each matter. He gave a fair price, and the job was done on time and expertly. Communications were perfect, as Sierra Structures kept us informed along the way on each step. Every question I had, Matt answered very promptly -- certainly same-day, but most often within mere minutes. One thing I admired most about Matt is how he dealt with one person who had a complaint in the reviews. He owned up to the issue and apologized to that person in his response instead of blaming the customer, which is what some other companies do. Matts response was professionalism at its best, and Matts reply to that customer is one of the reasons I chose his company. Our automatic gate looks great and operates perfectly. I am very pleased with Sierra Structures and will use them again if I ever have a future project.

Sierras fence team is fabulous- they delivered the wood on a tightly bundled pallet the day before installation, using an amazingly precise 360 degree turn radius forklift. Not one blade of grass was harmed, next to my single car driveway. the demo cleanup team removed debris from the old fence on the day it was removed, I had a totally clean driveway within 1 day. Very efficient team. Clean and expert build. The wood privacy fence build is beautiful and the tall trellis they incorporated will last decades due to the wood quality and size of the posts. Fantastic value for the price, far better wood than the big box stores. Could not be more impressed with this company.

Sierras team was great. They quickly bid the project and were competitively priced, and gave me options based on my goals and desired look of my new fence and driveway gate project. They completed the project ahead of schedule. Their install team was professional, courteous and provided an excellent finished product. We got three quotes for a new fence and Sierra was by far the most professional. I fully expected them to come out the most expensive but they ended up being just a bit cheaper than the other companies that seemed to be willing to slap something up quickly. We had a cap and trim fence installed and couldnt believe how stunning it was. We also are thrilled with Sierra as a company. From start to finish, everyone was great to work with. Their estimator, Angela, was incredibly patient with me and my million changes and quotes. The office staff were friendly and helpful with processing everything and keeping us informed about scheduling. And Corey and Joe, our main installers, were just the sweetest. So amiable and kind to work with, but also obviously took careful craftsmanship with their work. You can really see the quality. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Our fence is beautiful! The guys who installed it showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job communicating their progress. Scheduling was a little tricky as rain caused the installation to be rescheduled a few times. But it all worked out. Very happy with my experience with Sierra Structures.

In a world where it can be difficult to nail down your contractor, Sierra was timely, organized (providing us updates throughout the process), and showed up when they said they would. They were super flexible with us and even allowed us to move our install date when something came up last minute. When it finally came time to install, they did a great job on our fence - it looks great. Highly recommend!

We are so happy we used Sierra Structures for our aluminum fence! From the moment we met with Joe (estimator) we knew this was the company we were going to trust with our project. We had two other companies come out prior to give us quotes, and they were fine, but Joe was VERY helpful with design options. We have a large lot that is oddly shaped with plans for an inground pool next spring (this fence had to meet pool code) this created a lot of questions for us and we were impressed with his knowledge and creativity, this allowed us to stay within budget and even come in a little under! The entire team at Sierra Structures was very friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. We knew when permits were pulled, materials ordered, when they arrived, and when they were going to be delivered. Our installers were on time, professional, friendly, and efficient (even in this 90 degree heat) it was completed in 2 days. They had to get a little creative around a cable line and a water line that ran very close to the fence, they made it a point to communicate these issues before digging (this caused a little more work for them, but saved us major frustration of having no internet or water. For this I am VERY appreciative. Save your time and call Sierra Structures first!

Sierra Structures were very good at communicating schedules, availability, and intent. They were patient and adaptable when unforseen characteristics of the property meant that installing would have resulted in less than satisfactory strength and stability, and rescheduled to complete the job as soon as those issues were dealt with. The family (and the family dogs) love having safe and un-leashed access to our newly fenced in back lot!

Sierra Structures was incredibly professional, responsive, and actually was able to install my fence earlier than their own first expected timeline (they installed it in 3 weeks as opposed to the predicted 8-10 weeks). It looks beautiful and I definitely recommend them.

We had a perimeter aluminum fence installed by Sierra Structures in February 2021. Everyone involved, from the office staff, to the contractors, to the builders, were professional and courteous. The job was done quickly, and we were notified of every “step” along the way (materials being ordered, materials being delivered, etc). The cost of materials and the install was fair, and we are confident that we have a very well-assembled, useful, and attractive structure that will last for decades.

In December 2019, I contacted this company for an estimate to repair/rebuild my deck. The sale person came out and took photos and discussed what I needed? They advised I may need to tear down entire deck to correct the issues with the deck structure. Next the “deck” designer wanted to meet to do another inspection. Conducted 2nd inspection and said they would do plan and provide estimate in approximately 2-3 weeks later due to currrent workload and the Christmas holidays. The elapsed time came and went. I called to follow-up and was told they would get back to me and as of today’s date 10/11/21. I am still waiting. They seem to do good work but they didn’t want my business, I guess.

I had a beautiful 5 Aluminum fence put up around my backyard. They came out to measure the fence line and gave suggestions based on level of ground and areas that were prone to flooding. It was about 200 feet of fencing in total. On installation day, they were in and out within 4-5 hours. Super fast install. The price was very reasonable and the gate looks fantastic. Id highly recommend them.

I’ve been wanting to replace my existing deck for a while now and finally decided to bite the bullet and start calling contractors for quotes. I called to make an appointment and within a few days Travis showed up for our first meeting. He was prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about carpentry and construction. We are really happy with the outcome of our porch. Their pricing is competitive and the work was good quality -- we are so pleased with our new porch. All the contractors were professional and courteous - as well as good at checking in on things and ensuring we knew what was going on. In general, the team is good at problem-solving -- a few issues came up but were easily resolved. At times, we wished things moved more swiftly (but: covid), and that there was more communication about delays. We are very satisfied with our fence installation. They were amazing, hard workers. When they arrived, we discussed the project length and I was assured that theyd work around the weather to get the job done on time, even if it meant weekend work We had an existing fence enclosure for our dogs and I know he wanted to demo and clear everything on day one. Worth the wait. We hired them to install a fence in our backyard. From start to finish everything went smooth. They did have to delay the installation by a week due to weather. The installers did an amazing job. Got the job done in one day instead of two. They did minimal damage to the fence and made sure they cleaned up. They even sent a crew out to make sure everything was cleaned. They even cleaned my driveway. I could not be any more impressed with the quality of work they did. They may be a bit more expensive than others but it is so well worth it.

The deck we had built is beautiful. The deck building itself was very fast and worked with our schedule. It was the little things at the end that piled up and took a little longer than we expected, but still a very positive experience.

Sierra replaced our back deck in late May 2020. I cant say enough about how impressed we were with the quality of the work. This deck is gorgeous, I like that Sierra puts as much thought into the design and aesthetics as they do making it strong, they went above and beyond. I appreciated that Sierra did it right and did not skirt around getting the necessary permit. The cost was reasonable, came in lower than most of our other bids (AND they take credit cards with no additional fee). Have to specifically mention two people. Travis was great to work with as the project manager, he took care of all the permit stuff, calling 811 and I appreciate that he always responded quickly to our questions. I considered a few companies for a wooden horizontal fence I wanted installed, Sierra was the most knowledgeable and gave me the most information about what would work best, price was about the same as the other I considered. Tried to move forward with Sierra doing a new deck for us, but they would not provide what was needed for our HOA approval without a 3000 deposit first. When we tried to ask them about options to try and secure approval without spending 3k first, they just stopped responding.

10/10 would recommend to anyone! Sierra was very quick with our quote and the cheapest of the 3 we got quotes from. They were very flexible and accommodating of the changes we had to make due to our HOA regulations and got us all the information we needed quickly. They also were flexible with our start date after our approval was delayed a couple of times. They were very fast with installing the fence and even filled in the gaps below the fence as we have a very hilly yard. The end product was beautiful and we get so many compliments on it! You wont regret having them put in your fence. Were already thinking of getting a new deck built and will definitely be using Sierra.

I reached out to Sierra Structures many months ago when I first started trying to figure out the best way to have a deck built at my house. I met with Travis, who was very personable and friendly. Since I had never gone through the process of building a deck I continued meeting with other companies to obtain quotes.After several months of deliberation and delays I ended up reaching back out to Travis about building our deck. He was eager to help us out and get everything rolling as quickly as possible. He also didnt give any timeline excuses or try to raise the price on us for any reason.My only knock along the way is that there were a few times that email response time and not having all of my questions answered right away made me nervous that the final product wouldnt turn out to be exactly what I wanted. (throughout this process, I have learned that many companies in the triangle are slightly lacking in correspondence)However, now that our deck is complete, my nerves have been put to rest! My wife and I absolutely love the deck that Travis and crew built for us! Even though I was more inquisitive than most people likely are, Travis never treated me like anything other than a friend throughout the building process. He was willing to make updates on the fly as we requested and has checked in multiple times since the completion of the deck to make sure no issues have developed due to the wood drying. It was a pleasure to work the folks at Sierra Structures. They updated me often on the progress of the upcoming work and were quick to answer questions I had both pre and post installation of my new fence and gate.

Awful! We were planning on building a deck extension with Sierra. After quite a few attempts at getting estimates and many emails and texts to ask where our quote was we finally got one. I should have trusted my instincts and went with another company but against my better judgement we chose to use Sierra. Travis has poor communication skills. It would take my husband and I multiple attempts to get any sort of response. After Travis told us he had submitted our permit, my husband and I gave the county a call to check up. Come to find our they NEVER submitted it. We would have NEVER known unless we decided to call. They were quick to take our $4400 but couldnt follow through with simple tasks. The only response they could give us was sorry. Now we are back to square one, after 3 months of investment with Sierra. If I were you I would most certainly look else where unless you want to wait MONTHS for a project or are willing to have to do most of the ground work yourself. I have multiple emails and texts to prove the incompetence of Sierra Structures if anyone is interested.

This is the second time we hired Sierra for residential fencing. In a previous house they did a privacy fence and in our current house we wanted ~700’ of post and rail fence. Sierra’s estimate was approximately 20% less than two competitors. The fence install was perfect with careful attention to placement of posts around utilities and sprinklers. Gates work perfectly. We couldn’t be happier. There was no compromise between cost and quality. Top marks for both.

Excellent experience. I got several bids on the construction of a pergola and settled on using Sierra. They were totally professional. The estimator was on time, the bid was fair and everything was well coordinated including follow up to make sure I was satisfied with the end result. The crew of guys that built it were extremely professional communicating with me along the way so we knew what to expect. They left the workspace clean overnight and after they departed they fully cleaned the area. I know this was a small project for them but they treated me the same as if it were a big one. We are newish/first-time homeowners with little to no experience in home renovations. Looked around at a few places, and Sierra Structures was considerably cheaper than other similar reputable companies. Travis House was able to come out in-person to our place and draft up multiple plans. They were upfront with us on timing, and ended up being able to get our deck done several weeks early - and in only about 3/4 days. There was one minor blemish I even felt bad complaining about, and would not have if they did not specifically reach out to make sure we were satisfied. Even still, they came out within a week and fixed it. Incredibly responsive, very nice, and we are very pleased with a professional product! Highly recommend.

We called Sierra to turn our deck into a screened porch. Though pretty straightforward like all projects there are always surprises. Travis and Narciso were fantastic through the entire process. Travis was communicative and always keep me apprised on where the project stood and Narciso and his crew were professional, clean and provided top notch workmanship. They arrived when they said they would and met the deadlines they provided. We could not be happier with the finished product. I will certainly call on them again for any deck, fence or porch need.

Chris was great to work with, the crew built ~475 double sided 6 privacy wood fence with 2 gates from start to finish in 4 days. Final product is great. There were a few nails missed and Chris came back out and personally handled. The ability to use Greensky to spread out the cost over 6 months was a great option as well, with no interest.Met with many contractors before going with Sierra Structures, their price was competitive, the quality of wood was superior, and they were pleasant to work with (and responsive on all fronts). Highly recommend.

Stop researching and hire this company. Top quality and workmanship. They use REALLY good material....thats the science part. They make beautiful finished products...thats the art part.

This review is based strictly on the estimate process with Travis. We decided NOT to make a deal. When the estimator came by the house, he was very friendly.Unfortunately he didn’t ask us any questions regarding specifics to our needs. He simply measured and was on his way within 5 minutes. We had another company there as well whom wrote everything down and made sure were aware of the process, sadly Travis did not. He said “I heard a few things.” Shoved me his business card and left. No time line of when to expect the quote, what the company project forecast was for a start date ect.After the experience, I decided to check out the reviews of the company again. Very good, except the customer service regarding the estimate process. It also appeared to only happen the estimator who also working with us. The company responded to each review stating “This is usually the opposite with Travis” when it comes to attention to detail. Maybe it’s time to investigate this further?Even though the investment was worth the value, we decided to move forward with another company based on the interaction and expertise of providing us a detailed breakdown of the project. Hopefully the process is turned around in the future, there is GREAT reviews about their work. Don’t let my review deter you from another experience.

Sierra Structures is an amazing company!! I emailed them for a quote and got a response right away. They answered all of my questions and concerns patiently. It was easy to schedule an appointment for a quote, as well as getting the actual job done. Unlike other companies I contacted. They screened in my existing rear porch exactly the way I wanted it without any issues. Their guys finished the job in two days. We had Sierra Structures replace our rotted deck this spring. The pricing was competitive with other companies but the work completed was great. Very glad we used them and Travis took care of us the whole way.

I would highly recommend Sierra Structures. I hired them to rebuild my deck and they did an outstanding job. Travis was an excellent project manager. He kept me informed almost on a daily bases. The crew that was hired was very professional. After the deck was completed, they did a great job cleaning up. Other than having a fantastic new deck, you would never know they were there. I cannot express how great Travis was. After the work was completed, he came by to inspect the work and ensure I was satisfied. Prior to hiring Sierra, I was working with another company that never returned my calls, lost my paperwork, etc. It was a very frustrating experience, so I started contacting other companies. Working with Sierra was a great experience and stress free. I would highly recommend using them and I will for future projects. I will also request Travis as my project manager. He made the whole experience pleasurable.

When I had called Sierra Structures regarding a fence, they gave me an appointment and came 2 weeks after to evaluate the work to be done. The perimeter was measured and the estimate was sent a few days later. I accepted the offer and my fence was installed by 2 great installers without any problems. Exceptional customer service. The fence is exactly what I wanted and the salesperson was very patient as I changed the design several times. The people installing the fence did a great job, were very professional and friendly, and did an excellent job cleaning up.

The workers did very good work and it was done in good time. i recommend this company over any other companies. The price was better than any other quotes i got and the materials is much better. Ken is the man he will get the job done like you want it.

There was definitely some issues with communications in the earlier parts of our screened-in porch project. Im sure a percentage of this was due to Covid and remote work. I can say we are enjoying our porch now. I did find some problems along the way but once I mentioned them, they were taken care of.

Their estimate was fair, and they did the work very quickly. When they were building the deck, they damaged the siding in a very visible location. When i reported it to them, they sent their fixer out and he repaired the siding (previous owner used a custom shade of light grey). It is flawless, i cannot tell any difference. I also ordered some custom storm doors (doors w doggie doors), which have to apparently be custom made by a 3rd party, which takes FOREVER. Like literally months. There were some issues with the order, and I was a bit disappointed with the communication while waiting months for the doors, but at the end they were very communicative and wrapped it all up satisfactorily.

Our fence project was perfect. We had a few issues with excess materials being left and a small pile of solidified cement in our driveway but the issues were rectified very quickly. We would definitely use the again!

We had a four foot wood picket fence installed and we are extremely satisfied. The company was in constant contact throughout the process and the customer service was excellent and took care of all of our concerns. We had a minor latch issue as the gate settled four months after the installation and someone was out to fix it the week we talked with them about it. Highly recommend and will use them again if we have the need.

Sierra came in on the heals of some pretty unfortunate events our family had with contractors. We had a set of stairs that needed to be built off of our screen room and Sierra took a look at the job and asked some great discovery questions that allowed us both to gauge our suitability for one another. We had a general mistrust of contractors in this area and Im sure they wanted to make sure they werent being placed into a position of failure by a client who may never be happy. Just had a fence installed by these fine folks in my backyard. Im absolutely happy with the quality of the fence. I want to add that the communication from Sierra Structures has been top notch. They reached out with time frames, information, and then touched base afterwards to make sure the jobsite was left clean. You cant go wrong having these folks complete a project for you!
