This relaxed little hole in the wall bagel shop right off of Cranberry road has delicious food and excellent service. Eating breakfast here feels incredibly cozy.

We have been going here for years. In the last three weeks or so things have changed. We no longer see the owner, and staff has changed a lot. The quality of service isn’t as good and the once really nice sandwiches are now very skimpy. For example, today we ordered chicken salad sandwich. (the other day they were out of salads we were told) There was about a tablespoon amount of chicken salad for the entire sandwich. Didn’t even cover most of the bread. We got the wrong side salads, and the pickles were wrapped up while still dripping. Once home, everything in the bag was wet. I guess what I’m saying is the quality of service is going downhill with whoever the new owners are. Such a shame. It really is. Hope they read the comments.

Great place in a quiet and a pleasant neighborhood. This was my first time and I loved their bagels. I wish it was a bigger place though.

Ive never seen a more poorly run business in my life. They literally do not care how long you are waiting they get flustered with a coffee and bagel order. Actually they do care. They want you to wait as long as possible and get joy out of it. They constantly do everything they can to show you they are under stress. Its a complete joke. Good bagels but not good enough to continue going through this. Not worth it at all

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND IS ALSO RUN BY AMAZING PEOPLE. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS GREAT. I would 10/10 recommend!!!!!

Updated Review 09.10:Both items in todays order were incorrect - no hash brown in the sandwich despite asking for it, and was given a bagel with butter instead of cream cheese.Normally, a very pleasant experience ordering from Boomerang Bagels. They are easily the best bagel shop within 10 minutes of that area.

First time, will definitely be returning! Was automatically greeted by many very friendly staff. Order was quick and fairly priced. The inside atmosphere is so well maintained. And the bagel was so fresh!

The best bagels in EB! They have a wide selection and the bagels are always fresh and delicious. We love to get whole wheat everything, marble rye, egg, cinnamon raisin, everything, and more. Lovely local restaurant that we are happy to support.

Id probably change your Google times to what time your open. Clearly says 6:30 open time throughout the week only for me to step in at 6:36 to be told we dont open till 7am on a Friday! Thats a bit disappointing for a morning bagel place..

A great little place for bagels, with an interesting array of specialty bagels like french toast, spinach, corn, etc. The bagels are super fresh and yummy. Ive bought them by the dozen before for events and everyone raves about how good they are. The price for bagels is reasonable, but tubs of butter or cream cheese are a bit pricey compared to if you picked them up at a grocery store. A large refrigerated section has a variety of drinks (e.g., Snapple, chocolate milk, etc.) and there are chips and other pre-packaged snacks to pick up if you so desire. Theres also a brunch menu with a variety of sandwiches to choose from, though I havent used that enough to really comment on. The only weird thing is that they take your order but dont ring you up until the food is actually ready, which ends up making the ordering process take a bit longer (an issue if youre in rush, i.e., trying to grab a quick bite on the way to work) and also makes for a weird spatial flow if there are other people behind you who are then placing orders before youve been able to pay for yours.(Dont have an interior picture of the place, but heres a platter of bagels at one of the events Ive brought them to, as mentioned in the review.)

Ive lived in East Brunswick my whole life and I never knew about this place! AMAZING. The staff is super friendly. Such a welcoming environment and the bacon egg and cheese was perfect! I cant even put into words how incredible it was. I will definitely be back!

My favorite bagle spot in East Brunswick. My kids love the very colorful rainbow bagels. I love when I catch them as they just come out and you feel the warmth of the bagles through the bag.

Excellent breakfast time here. The service was so good. Variety of bagel options,omelette options and their coffee is extraordinary(better than regular chains). Around 15 of our soccer players have been going here for the past 2 weeks for breakfast on Saturdays. Very quick service and the staff were so nice.

I bought an egg and cheese on a bagel. Egg was not fully cooked / raw. When I brought it back in to ask for a refund. The woman was very disrespectful and gave me a attitude. No apology. Nothing. They were not busy when I went in. Never going there again.

If you’re black do not go here. The people behind the counter do not like black people. Stood around and watched as they intentionally ignored me as they waited on other customers. I didn’t even get a ‘one minute’ an Caucasian women came in and was acknowledged immediately!!!

Im glad theres a decent bagel place in town again. I would highly recommend them, but I just wouldnt go on major holidays. When I went on New Years eve the bagels were very disappointing that I actually threw the ones I got away. Since then, theyve been good every time.
