Where to even begin...myself husband and daughter were patients for THREE years. Back at the end of August, I ordered glasses for my husband that never showed up more than one month. The owner (if shes the owner) assures me a refund and no charge for the glasses. Another few weeks, still no glasses. She. Tells me she will order the lenses and put them in frames in store, then proceeds to recharge me full price. I begged for a 50 dollar discount for the inconvenience (even tho she told me no charge?) She also assured me she reinstated the insurance benefits. I went on Monday, (after she called my husband and said they were ready. No glasses. She tells me Wednesday (today) still no glasses. I demanded a refund. Which she did provide. However, what about the glasses and the enormous inconvenience. 3 months to get glasses? We decided to Part ways they blame the insurance company. I request medical records the DOCTOR nastily says its 10 dollars per page . It is ONE DOLLAR PER PAGE MAX BY LAW! Also I just got off the phone with the insurance. She did NOT REINSTATE THE BENFITS!!! She also billed my insurance fraudulently for glasses in July that were not ordered until the end of August. Very fishy. Just stay away. On a side note if shed apologized and provided me with the glasses either of the two pairs I would have been happy. And while they blame the insurance she told the insurance rep ups delivered to the wrong address so shes also a liar

I was looking for a place where I could get my prescription added to both a pair of glasses and sunglasses. The owner Vesta was welcoming, kind and super professional.I had not yet made a decision as to which pair of glasses or sunglasses I would be choosing but she was a great help and I could not be happier about my choices.Optical image has now become my go to place for everything optical.I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great place to get anything optical.Thank you Vesta!

Always up to date with the latest trends too, which is pretty rare as well I’d say.Overall, I’d recommend Optical Image to anyone who wants a 5-star customer experience, and it’s all thanks to Vesta. Vesta Kim was extremely helpful to me in choosing good frames and giving right recommendations for eye glasses. My insurance messed up my order, and Vesta understood the problem, and ordered an extra pair which I needed extremely fast. Extra glasses were made by the local office in one day. (vs 30 days insurance delay). More over, Vesta not only fixed the problem, she monitored whole process along the way. Finally I got two new awesome pairs of glasses. I found the prices reasonable and service amazing. Appreciate Vesta for the quick work and more importantly her help, care, kindness, and advice! I moved back to the area from NYC, working in the fashion industry. I cant count how many boutiques Ive browsed trying to search for unique designer frames, which I did quite often because Ive been investing in a collection for some time now...Without fail, I either ended up with sub-par sales associates (which is an automatic dealbreaker for me), or a poor selection of products...Ironically it was only when I moved back to Central Jersey that I finally found what I was looking for! Not even looking for an optical shop intentionally! I was grocery shopping haha.Here is where I met Vesta, the ideal model of what I believe all people in sales should be and all around awesome person. She always takes her time and seems to never end the encounter until she did all she could to help. And always keeps up with her knowledge of fashion trends.But the most important gesture of kindness was placed an urgent rush order on my Saint Laurent frames (completely custom order) so I could get them the very day before lockdown started. I wouldve been blind for possibly a very long time without her help that day because I only had a few pairs of contacts left and the rest of my frames were still in NY.So this novel of a review/praise is just the least I could do to thank her.

First time there! Very professional, clean, and fast service. Doctor Davied was able in minutes to find out what’s wrong with my eyes. The doctor is super kind, patient, and empathetic, which is a series of characteristics that I wish every doctor possessed. However, I’m a bit annoyed with my recent two experiences with the practice. I made an appt. a few months ago for contacts, but was given misleading information about insurance coverage over the phone yet different information once I showed up for my appt., which changed my ability to be seen and caused me to leave without being seen by the eye doctor.This week, I received a postcard alerting me that I’m due for my annual exam. I scheduled an appt. for today but was not told until I was physically at the appt. that I could not be seen because insurance required that my next exam be scheduled a few weeks later. With a final exam for college being today, I was especially annoyed with my time being wasted.With both of these experiences, my time was wasted and I wish that these discrepancies had been caught before my appts were ever made, which should have been easy catches.Overall, wonderful practice but needs to be more attentive to patient credentials when scheduling appts.

There is no secret to anyone that its often an unpleasant experience because of luck of professional knowledge, attention to your needs, politeness of the people you have to deal with and simply a hustle about the price.But not for me anymore for already 7 years. I stopped just by an accident to check the frames at an optical store inside the Shop Rite supermarket in East Brunswick. I was greeted by the owner of the place and real attention and interest in my needs pleasantly surprised me. Im not an easy guy to deal with, but the non-obsessional attention and willingness to answer all my questions without any delay made me to get to the price of the glasses I needed. And again I was surprised with the hustle-free price given to me without any delay and on the spot. And I placed my order. And I was surprised again - everything was done as promised and on time. From this time on I ordered quite a few glasses from this place and it was always the same pattern of behavior and approach in my needs as it was from the very beginning of our first meeting. And Im not the only one who fills the same way.So, ladies and gentlemen! Dont give yourself a hard time when you need glasses - now with you know where to go and whom to deal with.

Im not clear why this place is highly rated, at least it did not feel like it is customer oriented place. The provider who evaluated me told that I have a foreign body in my cornea but he would not remove it because he does not take my insurance (although my insurance recommended me this place) . Also that I have to remove it immediately because it can damage my cornea. Ive ordered glasses and told the receptionist that the frame is somewhat tight but I like the looks of it. I was told that it should not be the problem since they can adjust it. After 3 weeks I finally got my glasses. Of cause they dont fit me right. New receptionist told me well, you picked the frame right? We cant make it bigger. Very misleading to someone who has no experience with glasses. Also staff attitude is poor and I end up feeling stupid. Would not come back or recommend this place.

I had a great experience here, the optometrist was incredibly patient and friendly, taking great care in every aspect of my exam. The selection there is great also, found the right pair for me in just minutes. The woman who handles selling the frames is also very welcoming as well. This is going to be my new go-to, I would highly recommend coming here if youre looking for a new optometrist.

We looked in other stores (big chains) and were not happy with their selection or attitude so we decided to give Optical Image a try.Vesta, quite simply, was a dream come true. My wife & I both wear progressive lenses and wanted to update our looks, too. She spent a lot of time working with each of us and made great recommendations.When I couldnt find a frame I was happy with, she had some ideas and offered to bring in some other frames that she thought would look good on me. A week later she had them and the first one I put on was perfect.She also made a great suggestion to my wife about the shape of her lenses (rimless frame) and she was spot on. I love this place! My family has been coming here for years. My Dad used to break his glasses and they’d always fix it - no charge. I started coming here because it was so convenient in its location. I used to go to the big chain eye glass / eye doctor places. At Optical Image, Vesta always knows me by first name - saying “hello” before I get some groceries as well. (It’s inside Shop Rite). That feels good. The Opthamologist has been there for years and is so very nice as well. They always try to work with you (with or without insurance) and your budget.Vesta was so kind to squeeze me in today - customer service is so important and they get all the google stars.They also have a huge selection of glasses. After 2 months of waiting, got my new glasses. I suspect not all features paid for are applied on the lens. When brought to the attention of the store, the response was very cold and non existing. Will have to replace lenses elsewhere.
