Omayra from the Bakery is absolutely amazing. I was in such a jam and went in hoping to get a cupcake cake for a birthday party for the same day. She was able to do it and do an amazing job. I think anyone else would have said no because they do need 48 hours notice. Plus everyone loved the cupcakes. So happy and thankful to her. Thank you 🙏🙏

Has fresh fruit and an extensive range of offerings. Staff is efficient & helpful. Had a painless & quick experience. No idea about peak hours though.. But especially love the large number of self checkout counters! 😊👍🏻

Good selection, fast checkout if you use self checkout. They also added a cool ring yourself station. Western union is always working and they never give you issues like other stop and shops.

On 8/29/21 my mother and I went grocery shoppingAt the register our total for purchase 276. 00 (not sure the cents) with that being said I told the bagger at the end that it’s not going to one house it’s going to too different homes (my mother hoUSe and then my house) so I will show you what goes to what bag. As I was helping her she stated and I quote (IS THIS FOOD FOR A GROUP HOME). I felt very bothered because. first of all being black now is such a problem and why is it a problem for my mother and I to buy grocery for our home. It wasn’t for a group home. For the worker to assume I’m buying for a group home is unacceptable. There is no reason to ask that. We paid cash number one and secondly we are both city workers (front line) so that was out of line. I will never go back to this location. Sorry no sorry

If I could put a zero I would. I went to a FOOD STORE, and I saw half the employees with NO mask. The vaccine is not a cure. That’s great if you good if you got it. I STILL want you to wear a freakin mask by my fresh vegetables!!! This is an outrage! This is a food MARKET! So disappointed. I walked right out. Disgusting…

The check out girl was nice. The produce was ok. The meat dept was not good. Never been here before, stopped on way home. Glad this is not the one in my neighborhood.

This is one of the best supermarkets in the area! The stock is consistent and impressive. The store is always clean, and its extremely easy to navigate.

The pick-up orders since they are no longer Peapod are always missing about 2 items. So I always have to walk into the store anyway for 1 or 2 items (the exact item is usually on the shelves). I got a very mushy cantaloupe this week. I had company coming so I just tossed it...I dislike wasting food and money.. However staff is very nice when they come to the car...you only wait 2 minutes..it is so convenient. Substitute items are good.

Stop & shop always seems to have a great selection. Its consistent experience between the different stores.

BEST supermarket ever! I’m actually not much of a foodie but I perfer this supermarket ‘cause most of the stuff is cheaper and not only that but this supermarket has more stuff like different Friendly’s Ice Cream’s as in ice cream gallon containers. My favorite dessert was always Brownies and Ice Cream together especially with Vanilla! 😊🍦🍨

Ive shopped there a lot and always enjoyed the products that they sell. Great employees and nice service. Way to Go Stop and Shop.

Normally I would give them 4 1/2 stars,bit today there were only 2 registers open and the lines were slow. Even the register operator was a bit upset!!!

This is my local supermarket. Love it. Plenty of parking spaces, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat is a little pricey but not exagerat. I wish they have a selection of smoked meats, we Europeans like to cook with that tipe of meat sometimes 😫

Good store, fresh produce.... Watch the meat date when you buy it... Mine went bad quickly.... Make sure you follow the arrows, other customers may yell at you, even if you accidentally went the wrong way.... Smh

Solid stop and shop, but also on a strip with a few other grocers that may offer better prices on some produce and boxed goods. Folks are friendly and the place is clean, and well stocked most of the time, with the pandemic effecting certain supply l lines that is to be expected though.

Smithtown Stop & Shop is much better than this location.

Store was clean- went late shopped till Midnight the night before the first snowstorm- staff was very helpful..I was short $1.50 on a $200 cash payment, and (Grace) the next person in line - said let me cover your shortage- I had it- but on a card- she was so gracious- she gave directed the cashier to give me the change as well..This is a blessing from God folks- for those that dont believe He is alive and working today- He IS & being Christian- I offered to return the funds- she wouldnt take it- & I blessed her in prayer..The Lord was providing a solution to another issue that happened that day & just thankful for His presence in my life.

FRESH Stuff Quick In and Out..

I dislike this location since they renovated it. They got rid of the cosmetics section all together. Additionally, they removed a good percentage, seems like 50%, of the personal hygiene brands and products.. used to buy my hair products here but they no longer carry the type I use, the brand only has 2 options on the shelf. The mouthwash I like, again, the only option is in the flavor I least prefer and a small size. Stopped carrying my toothpaste too. They carry less vitamin/supplement brands as well. The whole hygiene section is really limited and now I buy that stuff at CVS where they have bigger selections and that $60 or so bucks a month goes to them. I would prefer to buy all my household needs in one stop so the fact that I can no longer use this location for a large grocery trip is disappointing. I still buy some of my groceries here because I pass it on the way home from work and its convenient to stop for a few things. However, I dont spend what I used to here and thats due to the limitations of the products they carry. Another problem, I liked the layout better before they renovated it. Now the dairy section is a crowded nightmare to deal with as it shares an isle with frozen foods and to top off they constantly place displays in the center of the isle to make it even more difficult to navigate. I dont think it was planned out very well. The workers are friendly until you use coupons, then theyre rude to you and act like youre stealing from them if you question why they didnt accept one. Yesterday, I had a total of 5 coupons and 2 didnt scan. The woman handed them back to me and said they werent accepted. I asked why and then she became snippy. Saying, if the register doesnt take it then I cant use it. Even though the coupons werent expired and I had the correct products in my cart. I told her I had never heard of them not being able to key a coupon in if the coupon was used correctly. The worker told me it was a new policy and they werent allowed to do that anymore then said I think because theyre paper and we really dont accept paper coupons anymore unless theyre our own. I dont use a whole lot of paper coupons, maybe $5 worth per trip, but if they wont scan them when the register isnt up to date then Ill be buying even less here in the future.

Store personnel were knowledge as to where to find items. They moved the lines quickly. People were courteous.

This location has a diverse selection of foods, including a wide variety of frozen dinners.

Large grocery store. Not very busy even during peak hours, which is nice if you want to have a peaceful shopping experience. However, the catch is that their prices, in general, are outrageous. I bought a quart of half and half, a quart of low fat milk, whipped cream (all 3 were generic store brands) and a gallon of Turkey Hill Iced tea and it came out to $21!! Will never shop there again. As well, unless you like high prices, you shouldnt either. The only nice thing about the store is that it wasnt busy and seemed clean.

Shopped from the flyer on Sunday. Taco shells were 7 for $7. Bought 3 and 4 other 7 for $7 items. Was charged $2.99 for each taco shell. Got back $5.97. Checked closer at home and found gum advertised buy 1 get 1 did not take off the lower price. This morning went back to store and received $3.49. Overcharged $9.46 for just the two items I purchased from the flyer. How many customers do not check their receipts carefully and get ripped off. Not shopping here again.

I mean its fine but they didnt have any of the food I wanted. It took me forever to find the cosmetics as well as candy sections but maybe thats just me. I just wanted eyeliner and sour skittles and the skittles werent even good. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Large supermarket with big selection. Bright, clean, well stocked and maintained. Good deli service. Can do electronic deli orders that get filled while you shop. Peapod delivery service. Self checkout available. Can use portable scanners to scan products as you shop to speed up checkout. Prices are moderate.

Had everything.Im doing a vegan no salt organic no oil added detox (lots of juicing veggies) and I was able to find what I needed.Nice.

Store is clean, employees are accommodating but the quality of produce is lacking. As the other reviewer pointed out even if the date on a bagged salad or veggie is good, lots of times the inside is wilted, slimy or with an odor telling you it is not the best. I once contacted the manufacturer on a good date item and they said probably not handled right in the process to the store or at the store. I have even gotten stuck with bananas that looked ok on the outside but less than desirable on the inside. Bananas are cheap so not a big deal but other produce especially organic is expensive. You really have to watch in all departments as there is sometimes expired items not removed from the shelves.

Went to this Stop and Shop to pick up 4 items, and used the self checkout. What a terrible system.The attendant had to override/intervene 3 times, for four items, and then the receipt printer jammed.Wish this wasnt the norm, but it is, so I wont be patronizing this store, that cares so little about their customers, any longer.To be clear, theyve had self checkout there for years, and they were pretty good, but the new systems they put in about 8 months ago, are terrible, simply terrible.

They always have all the food that I want theres a decent size organic section for those that are into that produce is always pretty fresh its a high traffic store so it doesnt just sit there

Done shopping here. Run down and everything broken. The deli counter screen has been broken for months. The scan guns are never charged and when you do get one it dies or immediately tells you the battery level is low. Deli counter staff are inefficient and always arguing with each other in front of customers. They keep removing items from stock to the point they no longer have what I want.. Notice replies to reviews here only get replies when possitive, never addressing unhappy customers. Doing my grocery shopping at Target now.

At one entrance the hand held werent charge therefore the machine was out of order. I walked to the other entrance and the handhelds would release. The items on the end caps werent priced. I found a cashier with no one and he was talking to his colleague, when I got through I had to bag everything myself. If that wasnt bad enough the cashier was ringing up the next customer while I was still bagging.The parking lot is poorly lit.

I like our supermarket. They need to improve. they run out of everything on sale in about five minutes. There is never anyone in the butcher department to answer questions. They run out of produce (like parsley, scallions, and even jarred garlic) all the time. So we cant depend on our stop and shop. But it is close. And the produce we get is usually pretty good, if pricey.

They had everything I needed. Line were not long and they were taking covid19 precautions.

Its a standard Supermarekt with nothing really special about it. The prices arent bad and the selection is pretty good.

Large store. Typical Stop and Shop...large structure, tremendous food selection, organized aisles, nice deli & bakery area, run well, good cashiers, etc.....but.... this particular S&S, in my opinion, judging by other S&Ss Ive frequented, is that this one has TOO MUCH ROOM for the inventory its required to have. Many aisles arent needed as the management seemed to scramble to decided how to use the needless extra space. An entire section of the store looks as if they purposely attempted to make it look filled. Things were actually a mess as workers were doing whatever to work on fixtures, stock unnecessary shelving, and putting up cardboard structures just to make the area look full. The problem really, is the accessory/cosmetics/pharmacy items area up front should in the those previously mentioned aisles. Put a Jamba Juice or another franchise in the dry goods/cosmetics area. Then, the space will really be functionally full.

This is a nice, clean store, but sometimes the prices can be a little crazy. got to go when there are good sales!
