I ordered the chicken tenders (buffalo style but they 4got so its on the side) fries and cheese tots. It was ok the chicken strip in the pic was the biggest one they were so small and only 4. My friend ordered a breakfast biscuit dish. He said it was ok. It did take a while even though the place wasnt full. The waiter and alot of the staff seemed new so we were patient and he was kind. They messed up other peoples orders while we were there. They also brung our meal out at different times. Even bringing the toast at the very end of the meal lol. They also didnt have change and we were practically forced 2 leave a bigger tip than we wanted. and we had to wait. But i think the funniest thing is.... they wearing shirts that say dont trust a skinny cook and their cook was super skinny. Overall it was ok i probably wouldnt return though.

Giving this review 1 star many reasons. I came in and ordered. Left for 15 to 20 minutes to run errands. Came back to pick up my order. The waitress asked the young man who was cooking for my food. He said he had no idea he had my order. So he told me 5 minutes. 10 munites later. I left with my order. Only to arrive at work with a double cheese burger, 1 burned patty, no lettuce, tomato, pickle and a few French fries. My second order was done okay. I tried to call on thr phone, I was placed on hold and was hung up on. Never again. You got my last dime.

This is a new chain on the block. Very good food. Great Service. I was in double mind when I read the previous reviews, but seems like things have changed. I was greeted as soon as I entered. Will definitely return soon.

I enjoyed the laid back down home atmosphere. The manager was very attentive and accommodating he made sure we were satisfied with our order. The food was tasty. I highly recommend The Huddle House its a great look for our community. But I do suggest you dine in when you have time to spare if your doing lunch its best to call in your order in advance.

Gravy is Awesome. Butter pecan praline is delicious. Coffee needs help. Service is hospitable. I love the messages on the back of the shirts. Clean place.

Visited the restaurant for the first time. I walked in the and was greeted immediately. The staff was kind and answered my questions about the menu items.I ordered the food to go - it was DELICIOUS. I had the Chicken and Egg biscuit. Chicken was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely return.

This was my first visit to Huddle House. I found it to be a most delicious experience. My Omelet literally melted in my mouth! My family ordered many items from the diverse menu and thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. Our waitress, Vanessa, was extremely helpful and most enjoyable to communicate with. I look forward to more visits to this lovely new restaurant. All in all, an outstanding experience!

The Huddle House Is actually a good place to grab a bite for an early breakfast. I must admit that the wait time for your food is a tad bit longer than usual but other than that I really enjoyed my self. The staff is wonderful. Lets all remember that this is a new business so lets not give it a bad name over nothing .

The waitresses are very good. The food is very tasty. I like that the managers show their presence, ask how you are, if theres anything you may need and do it all with a smile.My family have great experiences here. Its a must try!

The service is a bit slow, good thing my family and I had patience, I had waffles with whipped topping and syrup, it was heaven on a plate. I understand that if you had Olivia the waitress she is a little slow but she is trying so dont say anything bad about her. The adults got food first and I waited 15 minutes for my food after the others got their food. The waffle was too hard so we had to re-cook it. But otherwise this place is good would recommend and come here again.

Restaurant was clean, waitress was very pleasant. However the food wasnt good, very low quality and cheap products. I ordered waffles, they were thinner than a slice of bread. The syrup was extremely watery and tasted horrible. I ordered chicken tenders and they had no honey mustard or barbecue sauce to go with it. Wouldnt recommend for anyone.

This place deserves no stars. For this being my first time eating here, I decided to take my cousins there and the service and wait time was horrible. We were there for over 1 hour just waiting for the meals to come out. The waiter brought out incomplete meals. The waiter also made excuses for why we were waiting over 1 hour and 20 mins for a grilled chicken sandwich. There was over an hour wait for almost everything from burgers to fries to baked potato and even chili! Just horrible.The waiter even mentioned to us about they been getting reports of the food being undercooked so thats why the grilled chicken and beef burgers were taking so long. I would not recommend this place. You are better off going to Red Robins, Wendys or Checkers. The local chicken shack up the road in Orange would been better and the food is done in an appropriate time frame.

Went here for the first time today!!!! I must admit I was pretty impressed with the customer service. The waitresses were very inventive to my needs and the food was pretty goodLook forward to going back and trying some other stuff on their menu.

This place will not remain open much longer if they continue to operate it in this manner. There were about 5-7 customers in the restaurant, why did I have to wait an eternity for decent french toast and under cooked bacon? The waitresses; what hospitality training did they receive? None from what Ive gathered. If you want great food with quality customer service, dont come here. It looks like a Migos video ready to transpire at any moment.

Our server Akeem was very pleasant and attentive. He made sure that we had all we needed and the food was promptly served. My niece had a burger which she enjoyed but my omelet was just a little to soft for my tastes. However, overall it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely eat here again

Huddle house is an ok place for a snack, because the dinner portion is so small. I thought the dinner was the appetizer. And the meal did not look appealing on the plate. Items was missing off the plate. I had to bring it to there attention. But because my waitress was so sweet and kind, i ate the appetizer, payed the high price and left. I will pray for there future success.

When I first went here is the food was great, the service was great, pancakes were also great just no real syrup. However, Im seeing a lot of negative comments after about 3 months from my visit and I hope you guys get it right because it would be sad to have another failed business in The Brick Church area of East Orange. First time and last time. Food wasnt even warm. Ordered a waffle, barely warm. Butter was cold asf, so cold of course it didnt melt on the waffle. The best thing was the smoked sausage. That was thw only thing cooked with love. Even the sweet tea wasnt sweet. The baby had fruit punch that was sweeter. I could of made a better breakfast then this. What a waste of $25. I enjoy supporting local business. I took my family for sunday late brunch. My 1st impression was the lack of cleanliness. We arrived at 4:15, there were no attendant to greet us for like 10 minutes, there were only 1 waitress & 3 tables with guest, we finally walked to the cashier to asked if we allowed to seat ourselves. We did not get the waitress to come to our table until 4:45, we ordered 2 kids burgers & fries, 1 adult meal. They brought the adult food 1st and 20 minutes later, my kids meal arrived. When I inquired about the wifi service, I was told we couldnt have access to it.The fries were cold & the drinks were full of ice. Our waitress was really nice.I would not return but i would refer others at least to support the business.1st & last time mom

When they first opened it was a pleasant place to come. Now they look like they hate their jobs. I called to place my order ahead and was left on the phone 15min and than it hung up. When I told that to the person placing my order (Libby)she didnt show no concern or care at all. A simple sorry goes a long way when running a business. Us black people can do better. The community already assume rudeness due to the race. Why let that stero type win. Lets do better. Now I receive my food and its not 12$ worth. Look like one egg and my bacon is broken into small pieces. Sorry wont never get my money again. This is why its hard to support our own ppl.

Please dont waste your time or money. The dishes are dirty ( I had lipstick on my cup and I dont wear lipstick). The food is horrible, not fresh, cold, they serve one item at a time. Our drinks came halfway through the tv dinner tasting ass meal. This was my worst dining experience.

I was happy to know that they brought this here but when I finally got to eat there, the waitress that we had was very pleasant but her apron and shirt was full of multiple stains and was so dirty that it turned me off but I still decided to give it a chance. There was a waitress sitting down on her phone on the work floor also staring us down making it very uncomfortable to eat and discuss with my family. The otherwaitresses also huddled there, pun intended to further gossip and discuss about their various customer experiences not even regarding us that was sitting over hearing them. Then there was a supposed lead waitress that decided to address the staff that was just standing around in front of the customers that were also dining there but later I saw her standing around in the huddled area gossiping with the other waitresses and threw in a few dance moves too. There seems to be no locker area because all of the staff placed their belongings and umbrellas on the baby high chairs where customers can see. One of the male waiters walked around with sagging pants and underpants showing making it very uncomfortable as well. When we were ready to leave we had to stand up to say check please because our waitress did not come back to check on us. The appearance of the workers was horrible, the shirts and aprons were dirty and full of stains, I get that when working with food that can happen but it was too much. A customer had to get up twice to ask one of the workers where they were huddled to see if they were working because nobody came to assist her. The food was over priced, proportioned small, and when we asked for fresh strawberries she dumped a bunch of wet soggy strawberry syrup/puree all over the waffles making it so soft and soggy which made it impossible to eat. My suggestion is that the managers invest in training the entire staff in customer service, food service and clean appearance. It is my hope that this feedback brings awareness and positive change for the employees and the owners because I would hate to see this establishment go so quickly.

So I ate here a few times and this is my spot for my breakfast eggs, bacon and wheat toast. Friendly Staff and quick service. Food is good and clean restrooms.

It was my first time trying HH ever...I only got a toasted burger bun with butter from here, since they did not have bagels lol. The bread was actually pretty good. I waited a little longer than expected...I noticed they do not wear hairnets so I do not know if I would return, since I believe all the staff working this morning had hair that could fall into dishes. But the front of the house cashier was pretty professional.

This place is the worst H&H iv ever been to.. about half of the people that work there went to my sons school (meaning their a bunch of kid ).they are very rude, loud and unorganized .. the food is nasty and salty.. i order a huddle burger and a short stack of pancakes (by the way i would have did better with going to Shop Rite) but anyways the burger was so small for the price of 9.57 an the fries where very hard an salty. the pancakes where big but not fluffy also they where burnt tasting the food was just point blank nasty they need to close down because this is just horrible they just open like a month ago an their all ready have 1 to 2 1/2 star reviews thats just bad for business. i dont not recommend this H&H the only thing i recommend to them is for to shut down asap, so they can put another places their without 17 to 19 year olds as cooks and workers

It took 10 minutes to get change for buying one coffee... the cashier pulling money to make change out her pants pocket. Also the service is not good, I ordered by phone, got there 15 minutes then when i got there waiting 20 more minutes for the food. It cost 27 dollar for a steak breakfast and a sandwich .... the breakfast was kids meal portion size n not tasty. Tooo much money, very little food, no system, no organization. I wont ever spend my money there again, NEVER.

This is the worst food I ever ate. The chicken tenders were stuck together with uncooked dough. The platter was cold and soggy. The Buffalo shrimp was the worst. U needed a magnifying glass to see them. The onion rings were greasy as hell. To any one thats even considering eating HERE.. DONT!!

My fiancé asked for tomato’s and pepper added to her steak tip omelette, she received those on the side. The omelette itself was a wet oily mess. After speaking with the manager i was rewarded with a 20 dollar bill after getting my drinks removed from the bill. Smh I will never give any establishment this bad my money again .

Service is very good!The food... not so much. Now it’s one thing for Chinese food or Spanish food to be nasty, ok so what we can easily find another one but you can’t just walk into the next black owned/operated restaurant. So when you find one, that food needs to be good or on point.I order the garden fresh omelette at first they messed up and gave me the Philly cheesesteak, which was fine they had no problem making me a garden fresh omelette after I brought it to their attention but the garden fresh omelette had cheap American white cheese, canned mushrooms, barely any tomatoes and it was just not that great of an omelette because when you use cheap American cheese it ruins whatever The rest of the meal. Also my toast wasn’t even really toast it was if they put the bread in the toaster for one minute and then put butter on it. it smelled good in there but they could do a lot better with the omelette and I guess execution of the food altogether it was not good

My Wife & I went on Friday 3 to check it out ! When we first got there it was fine until we ordered our food the sampler was not worth $8 it looks like $1 fries from McDonalds & Baby shrimps & salty fries why we wait for our order 25 minutes later the didnt bring nothing we Ordered but lemonade waiter got food orders jacked up everything was wrong they tried to correct the mistake that took over another 30 minutes later still didnt get our Order So We left ! Service Suck I wouldnt recommend this place to no one !!!!!!!! Go to Applebees or I HOP ! SELLING APPLEBEES PRICES SO GO TO APPLEBEES !

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Placed three orders to eat in and one to go at 11:58 am all to leave without my togo order. The waitress asked and reminded me about the order THREE times at 12:10, 12:39, and 12:50. But she puts the order to be cooked at 1:05. Tables was dirty due to not having a floater bust boy to make sure tables are clean since they have Seat yourself service Food came to the table cold at 12:29 while we waited until 12:39 for the rest of the order to come. And when I made it aware to the so called manager Cedric about everything that occurred even the mishap with the togo order and the fact that it was for a city employee. He told me I can either wait for my food to be done which would be another 35 mins. When I made it aware to him the order was placed at 11:58. He responded well thats how we do things here. So I had to cancel my order and he didnt care and moved on to the back with the waitress that placed the order. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huddle House, has potential. They are a new establishment so they are very unorganized. What captures you is the essence of the the food as you walk in. This is what kept me from turning around. You will not be greeted when you 1st walk-in which I hope change in the next few months. The sign clearly says seat yourself to me is a Red flag!I exploded with anger after patiently waiting for 42mins with my 3yrs old son for a To Go order. The order that was given to me was Completely Wrong. I found this out after I walked back to my car and checked.I gave them 3 stars because of the Staff and Manganent. They fixed the problem with a smile and assured me things will change they hope I return in the future.I behaved poorly and I hope this review helps. This place will be the next IHOP once they have a clear system that works effectively.Oh. And the food is pretty Damn good🤗

Currently here and the only thing your guarantee to get is a drink in a hour. Other custermers have been waiting for an hour or more for food. Another set of custermers walked out because they only received one plate and they were waiting on 3 other plates. They kept claiming they just opened 3 days ago but thats no excuse to wait a whole 1 hour or more for food. If you plan on coming here make sure you have the time to wait . Its VERY slow.

Came in after a day of work. Figured i would try the new place by shoprite..the huddlehouse...came in was told i can sit anywhere an server would be there. Cool no problem. I see the waiter serving other customers no problem..nature of the buisness. I see two guys walk in and the waiter decides its time to stop working and hang out and chill NAH BRUH waited in all aboit 15-20mins to not even get served...service here is pretty bad and anyone who thinks otherwise i can honestly say have never fine dined before in a MEDIOCRE setting..

I took into consideration the place was just opening and expected an little disorganization. However, I am extremely upset. I placed a to go order at 10:48 am and did not receive my order until 11:48 am. Prior to getting my order, two people behind me in line received their order before I did. When I asked about this, i was told that my order was being shuffled from one side to the other. So I get my food . My food is cold and hard. I was not pleased with my experience. Management did not apologize for this experience or to any other customers that complained as I did.
