Large selection of tools. They tend to have 3 choices of levels of quality to meet the price point of the target market. They came out with some new names for their in house products. The mid level is usually fine for most people and last if not abused. I have a few of their super inexpensive tools that still function fine. The pry bar sets are great to have.

Tools galore are to be found here, at a great price with adequate quality. Some things which cannot be found at Lowes or Home Depot can be found at this wonderful establishment, my favorite store, as a tool lover. Joining the Inside Track program gives discounts over and above the already low prices.

Great spot for low to mid grade tools and equipment. If you need a tool, they probably have it. If it is something you will be using day in and day out. Then maybe buy a name brand tool elsewhere. But if it is something that you need to use once or from time to time.... This place is the perfect fit! I love walking the isles here looking at all the stuff.

Good luck, with this place. If you know where your item is, then you will be fine. But if you need to ask someone who works there, then good luck. The employees dont even know what is in the store. They will just look at the signs hanging over the isles, I already did that!?!?!

Cheap tools not a bad thing they just dont hold up to well

Cashier and manager declined to honor the coupon for $5 off any pittsburgh pro ratchet, staying it wasnt an official HF coupon. Ive used it before with no issue. Cashier warned me not to get coupons from anywhere but the official website because of the risk of *viruses*. Seriously.Its a shame because this location is convenient to me but I will shop at the next-nearest store from now on, which I cant go to as often.

Never seem to have whatever the main I went get. Prices and quality are good on what they do have.

Very helpful people. Had a problem getting the stainless steel tailpipe off my RV and the guy that helped me out hooked me up with a electric cutting tool that worked pretty slick.

First time here and what a yarn selection. A knitters crocheters heaven.

They didn’t let me return a product didn’t have a receipt or box normally go in there and replace it or exchange it the desk person who I spoke to was very rude I do not recommend the store for people who want to return their tools now I’m stuck with a broke tool and I’m not paying $100 for a new one

Purchased fans for my shop, and they are missing hardware to assemble them, I called they stated to bring them back they will swap them .I asked could you just open two and give me the hardware, I have opened these and the package is in the garbage. nope must dig them out and return. Poor customer service. I will just go to hardware store spend the $5.00 for nuts and bolts rather then repackaging these to go exchange .I guess I would have to open those before I leave to inspect for hardware?

Spoke to two differently people on the phone and both were extremely rude. I understand that they are busy, but after working in multiple different industries customer service is key. I tried to be kind during this difficult time by quickly thanking them for their help and for being there and I was cut off by the employee hanging up. Spoke to a different employee at another location and they were much more helpful. Needless to say I will not be going to this location!

I think everyone knows this place and has made jokes about it at some time. They have really improved the quality of their products in recent years and is well worth a visit. I love to browse around making mental notes of things I need in the future. There are always good coupons available also. Speciality tools at good prices for unique jobs if youre a DIYer or tradesman.

We are from Cherry Hill, NJ where there is a major electrical outage. I have called many Harbor Freight store all over NJ to find a Generator big enough and everyone has been helpful until I spoke with MIKE for the Eatontown (Store #537). He was rude, confrontational and Annoyed that I asked him to look if they have ANY generators 6500 watts or more. He told me I would have to come in the store and look. I explained we are 2 hrs away and didnt want to come all that way if they didnt have one. He REFUSED to look unless I had an item number. When I got the Item number he was annoyed and huffed that he actually had to go look. When he finally let me know they DID have one left he got angry that i ask my boss, who was standing in front of me, if he wanted it to be held, he told me COME ON ARE YOU KIDDING ME... I understand you are busy, but MIKE should not be in customer service AT ALL and because of his arrogant, abrupt and ill Mannered service, you lost a large sale and Im sure you have lost more then just my sale if this is the manner that you treat your customers.

Less than 10 seconds after walking into the store the store manager came over to me and asked if I needed any help. He directed me to the 2 areas that I needed to go to and he smiled and was very polite. I found what I needed without a problem. The prices are really good and I got a discount that I wasnt expecting. I definitely recommend this store.

Great deals on tools and DIY helpers that way cheaper than depot

Harbor Freight is the place to go if you need tools for occasional to moderate use. The prices are quite low and all things considered, the quality in most cases isnt bad. They have a remarkable broad range of inventory for a store of their size. That being said, if youre looking for professional grade tools the majority of what they sell does not fit that description.

Al the manager went out of his way to help me. He is an amazing person. Ended up purchasing more than I was expecting.

Discount tools and stuff. I always seem to find what I need here at a decent price. One old lady at one of the registers will give you a hard time about coupons but her bad attitude gives a certain charm to the store you dont get in all the other customer service oriented stores. If youre from New Jersey you know what Im saying.

The people that work there are less than helpful. You ask where something is there generally one in the direction and could care less.

They have great prices. But as with everything. You get what you pay for. Something you can get work without a problem sand paper doesnt really change all the much. Some of there power tools have no power so you have to really know what your buying. There framing gun isnt that bad I have used and abused it and still holding strong only have had a few jams but nothing crazy.

If you need a tool they probably have it. It probably wont last very long but it will be very inexpensive and even cheaper if you have a coupon.The tools here are not name brands and will not hold up to any real world wear and tear. It is a great place to get a speciality tool that you will need to use one time. Something like a faucet wrench that you will need to change out a faucet and then wont need for 20 years.Lastly, get some coupons. Coupons. Coupons. Coupons. (They should just sell the stuff cheaper to begin with)

Harbor Freight Tools is a good place to buy tools if you dont need it anymore. Although Harbor Freight Tools do have some quality items it just depends upon what you buy. Anything in there flyers or the magazines that the offer for free their tarps, and everything else is garbage! Some of their impact sockets I have to say is top-notch Chinese metal and lasts. Id rated it near Snap-on quality due to the durability, it just doesnt last as long! They are guaranteed for life so replacement is not an issue. Its hell of a lot cheaper than Snap-on prices. Snap-on prices are getting out of control these days!

2nd times a charm...1st directions led me 20 minutes out of the way. If I had the right directions the 1st time I could have been there in 5 or 10 minutes from where I was.More of a review of google maps...

Always love a good harbor freight spot. This one doesnt seem to get too crowded and they keep it clean. Assortment is good what you expect from the store. Parking is a little confusing and getting into the lot can be tricky take your time driving down 36.

Worst customer service Dedee not sure how to spell name correctly. She was nasty since the beginning. She wouldnt enter sku number but she was capable of, to help a customer, because she said she has issues with me. I have no idea who she is and i dontt even remember her face. I will file a lawsuit against harbor freight for discrimination and emotional distress. I went with my 5 years old daughter, she was so scare say the least
