I like Campbell Volkswagen. They have a good service department. I have bought cars from them since 2001 and have never had a bad experience. I recently purchased a 2020 Passat. I got a great deal! It is very comfortable. I get 30-33 miles per gallon in all around driving.

I was here to look at a 2017 Subaru Impreza Hatchback about a month or two ago. I was supposed to meet up with Alan, but he was off that day so I had to speak to someone else. His name escapes me, and it is probably for the best. He was demeaning, and essentially told me I was pulling numbers out of my rear end, when I offered 19K for the vehicle when they are asking 22K. He made me wait while he talked to his manager but instead came back with pricing sheets of other used vehicles of the same make and model, to then point out how ridiculous my offer of 19K on a Used 2017 Impreza Hatchback was. He even found it poignant to tell me, I would not find that same vehicle for that price, with that mileage anywhere. If he reads this, I would like him to know that I found and now own a 2018 with lower miles and more features than the price gouged 2017 hatchback you had. So thanks for being the worst salesman I have worked with to date. You helped me find something better. Also, Alan seems like a great guy. Its a shame he wasnt in when I came in to look at the vehicle.

We had a GREAT experience at Campbell Nelson this weekend! Extremely poor service.My husband and I walked in to check out the new electric vehicle by VW and the salesman seemed totally annoyed that we were there (after taking 5+ mins to even greet us), when asked to compare it to other electric vehicles he totally undersold the VW and made it sound like a terrible choice—not sure if this is how VW wants their vehicles represented.We left feeling very frustrated, maybe he didn’t think of us as serious buyers or something but we definitely won’t be coming back to this location

Setup an appointment for them to look at a recalled part on our car. Over the phone we were told they would check the part for free but when we got it in they wanted $150 to do anything with it. Would suggest going elsewhere for your car maintenance.Edit to the dealers reply: the part is under recall, they just wanted $150 to tell us if it needs replacing.

I purchased a used 09 Dodge at the end of September at Campbells. Here are the pros and cons of my experience.Positive:The sales ( thank you Brad ) and finance team was a 5 star rating. The experience during the buying process was fast and efficient, again 5 stars. The car detailing after the purchase very good as expected.Need improvement:The used car had a array of issues not caught by me or the Campbell safety check team. One of the 2 tail light bulbs wasnt working. The dash cluster lights also wasnt working properly, so I couldnt see the dash cluster at night. The rear axle is making noise, and I had to replace the oil dipstick. The oil dipstick was 50% my fault.Light at the end of the tunnel?I made a call to Brad my sales representative and he responded with a positive outlook to the issues. Most of the smaller problems I corrected right away. The bigger problems will be addressed by Campbell? Well see what happens.Buying a used Dodge not from a Dodge dealer is always a gamble and this time I may have lost.Ill keep this post updated on my progress with Campbells of Edmonds.As of 10/17/18 no one has called back regarding these issues. Consistent service department. Five years of service on my Passat. Always upfront on timing, recently did tire balance and seat heater fixed under warranty. Great loaner cars available.

Horrible experience! Will make sure no one I know go there to do business. Would have given them negative star but not an option. Try to get financed to buy my car, the person working with me, was unprofessional, didnt call the people who own the title. Could not call me back when needing more clarification, yelled at me on the phone, maked excuses for the lack of follow-up. Then says I will be charged an additional $1439, for safety inspection, detailing, oil change and whatever else they can add. The car in question has been mine for over two years not to mention why would I need to pay for things that were done within the last two months? Total waste of time. Now my concern is how my private information will be handled. If my experience thus far is any indication, I am in trouble. When letting this person know that his services or lack therefore was no longer need, was when the yelling started and how his mistakes should not be held over his head. So lack of accountability can be added to the list. Glad this deal ended, would have payed more than what is currently owed and with no real explanation as to why. So very disappointed, would not think a business would be okay treating customers this way. So many honest reliable car dealerships out there this is not one of the. Be warned

I had such a great experience with Campbell’s. I knew exactly what I wanted and put in a request over the weekend, and first thing Monday morning I had an email from Aaron in my inbox and a test drive scheduled the next day (I’ll note that I had reached out to a few dealerships, but Campbell’s was the most prompt!).I got exactly what I was thinking for my trade-in (smack in the middle of KBB for “good” condition) and from start to finish I spent just under 2 hours at the dealership. No bait and switch, just transparent pricing and the usual offers for certain upgrades but absolutely no pressure to opt in. The lovely note I got after purchase and the follow up from Aaron was the icing on the cake—the best first car-buying experience I could have asked for!

I have been using Campbell VW of Edmonds since we got our van two years ago (2017). This van has been everywhere- to the Stevens Pass Ski Slopes several times every winter and even drove it up to Alaska and back down. That said, its been through a lot and the service of Campbell VW of Edmonds has been beyond satisfactory. They maintain our van and do all of the services. They are very transparent at what it needs, helping me understand priority repairs so that I can spend my money where it needs it most and have time to save up for the other things that can wait. They complete the repairs timely, are very good about communicating and helping you understand each faulty part, the labor necessary, breaking down the costs, etc., and everyone is friendly and respectful. After finalizing the deal, they did show me what add-on options I have, but not once pressurized or tricked me into buying any.I would totally recommend.

These guys have probably the worst mechanics in the Seattle region. Youll be visiting them roughly every other month if you let them touch your car. My opinion is these guys will fabricate charges and take you for a ton of money and come up with ways to avoid honoring warranty. Dont give them a red cent. If you are billed by them have your credit card company reverse the charges. VW dealers operate like a mafia. You will legit pick up your car fixed to have it only need servicing in a few months.

For context, my SO is partially deaf. I help him while making calls, repeating what was said so he can respond with his own words.We called up to cancel a courtesy appointment and the receptionist was short and rude. She interrupted us when I attempted to repeat her words to my SO; when he took longer than a second to answer (because he couldnt hear her and I was in the midst of repeating it), she said I have other calls to deal with, haha. Can you hold? and put us on hold without waiting for a response.This wasnt a long call. According to his phone, it was 32 seconds in length, total. He wasnt taking too long to respond and she kept interrupting him when he tried.Im not one to complain or write negative reviews, but this was significantly worse than Ive seen and it was a direct result of her impatience. Her mocking laugh and tone when he took a second to understand her words was cruel.Train your team members, Volkswagen. This is not acceptable.

10 years ago to the day (12/31/2010) I made my way into (at the time) Campbell Nelson Volkswagen after having a rather unfriendly experience at another VW dealership. Now 10 years later I am telling my story...I called the dealership and spoke with Alan Kemper, I told him I wanted a very specific car to which he replied Ive got 3 of them. Come in and ask for me. 30 minutes later I arrived and asked for Alan, was greeted shortly by Alan. He immediately thanked me for coming in and promptly explained that I deserved full attention and he was unable to provide that since he was already working with someone else. He took me over to Clint Richardson who showed my wife and I the car we wanted. Clint was extremely kind and a great conversationalist. We went on our test drive with Clint, and for the majority of the drive Clint was quiet so we could hear and feel the car. I fell in love with the car.Once we got back to the dealership it was time to talk numbers. Everyones FAVORITE part, right? Well it was pretty painless, the hardest part was waiting for the finance office (because we bought on New Years Eve, and it was super busy). While we waited for finance we continued our conversation with Clint and talked about his family, our plans for a family in the future, and just general BS. While we waited we got the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Craig Campbell. It was brief, but it was nice to meet the owner of the dealership! We drove off that evening extremely happy with our purchase.I continued to bring my car here for service and never had a problem. If I needed a loaner car, there was always one available. If I needed a ride home, that was available too.Fast forward almost 9 years to 12/12/2019 - My first day on the job on the Volkswagen showroom. Guess who is still here? Thats right - Clint and Alan are both still here and now I look to them for wisdom. I am writing this today (12/31/2020) 10 years to the day that I bought my first Jetta from the Campbell family and Clint and I am here to reflect on the last year of working for the Campbells. There is camaraderie, shenanigans, highs, lows, and most of all the culture of family first. I would not have it any other way. I was looking for a new VW Tiguan, and Aaron made this by far the best car buying experience Ive had. Excellent experience! Greg gave me the initial test drive, in an older Tiguan model I wanted to see. Gani gave me the test drive in a new model and I decided to lease. Dave was the sales manager who helped with approving the deal we wanted. We went ahead sooner than planned because of the deal and smooth process. All of the people we worked with, including the lady who I did paperwork with, were exceptional. Also, the gentleman who handles internet sales... Everyone was friendly, professional, sincerely caring, and kind. Follow-up has also been exceptional, having received calls and cards, even a month after signing on January 31st. We worked with Gregg at Accutint and Jeremy in VW Service and the consistency of excellence continues. Fantastic customer service, highly recommended.

It has been approximately 1 month after purchasing a used VW from Campbell Volkswagen in Edmonds. We have enjoyed the car up until this point with virtually no issues. Alan, who sold us the vehicle, as well as the rest of his sales and finance team were extremely helpful and accommodating from start to finish. They even followed up to thank us for our business. About a month ago, I purchased my first vehicle from Aaron at Campbell VW. I had been shopping around online for a 2018 Tiguan for a few months, comparing prices and specs. On the day that I set out to test drive a few, Campbell VW was my first stop and Aaron was quick to help us. He was easygoing, personable, professional, and I felt comfortable working with him from the start. I ended up leaving after test driving to go check out a few other Tiguans that I had seen online and found myself falling into the games and money traps of salesmen elsewhere. I looked at my dad and said “Let’s go back to Aaron” while inside another VW dealer and we came right back to Campbell in Edmonds where Aaron was straight up with us and treated us right. I was out of there with my dream car within an hour and I am still beaming to this day! I am so thankful that Campbell and Aaron made my first time buying a car so seamless and enjoyable. I truly can’t imagine going anywhere else! 10/10 recommend

Just had an awesome experience with these guys. Aaron was great - not pushy whatsoever and very friendly and thorough. He patiently listened to what both my husband’s and my many desires and requests and found us a really good deal on a Golf. Look no further if you want a great VW dealer.Just wanted to update, it’s been 6 months with my new car and I still love these guys. Their services are great for their customers. Free oil change and tune up today, a free car wash and when I had a problem with my car’s gas cap a few months ago it was fixed immediately with no charge. Best dealership I’ve ever been to.

Purchased a new to me CPO 2016 VW Golf SW in August of last year. Deal was quick and easy. Alan was great to work with. Received good value on my trade-in. All around best car buying experience Ive had. Car itself has been great so far (10k miles).

Dont bother if youre looking to buy a new car. I came in knowing which car I wanted and the salesperson (Scott) barely cared. He never mentioned VWs standard 0% financing (OAC) despite being there for two hours. We had done our research and asked them to price match. He said there was no way. All in all a subpar experience. Having worked with Carter VW in the past I would recommend going to ANY of the dealerships outside Seattle for a better customer experience. In the end I got exactly the car I wanted for way less than Campbell was offering. I purchased my car through VW of Olympia and could not be happier- worth the drive down for sure!

The day we went to see the car is the day we ended up purchasing it and by the time everything was said and done it was past their closing, but we never felt rushed or a inconvenience. They are not professional

Had a 40k service here on my 16 Jetta. Peter understood a few concerns I had, including some tires I thought needed to be replaced. Car came back great and I was told I can get another bit out of the tires. I appreciated the honesty and no pressure for an upsell.
