I grew up with this amazing little store in walking distance and they have always been great to me and my family.
This is a great corner store thats walking distance from my place. Perfect for when I need one thing and dont want to drive to a store. They have standard convenience store options, and a good collection of basic groceries.

I grew up near 3rd Ave and 196th PL NW. We used to walk to Firdale with a note to buy cigarettes for mom. There was a horse farm on the West side of 3rd avenue back then. We always stopped to feed grass to the horses. Back in the day Firdale was just the little store. All that other stuff came later. I remember going to Chopsticks restaurant on 100th avenue, back then it was a dirt road between Firdale & Chopsticks. That was @ 1965 or so
