Got our flu shots today! Pharmacists George and good were pleasant. We were told it could be an hour since about 8 or 9 were ahead of us. They efficiently got us out in under 45 min from first hello.

Everybody here is so caring genuinely amazing great place to shop always has the best items always kept nice clean environment you can find things easily theyre displays or just gorgeous in their floral department and you always smell the fresh baked goods baking and bakery and all the good seafood especially Wanda back in seafood is just a wonderful person I was so taken away by the way she cared about my order she is an absolute angel so if you ever get a chance please go there and visit Wanda at seafood also Jacob was a great clerk every time there was a problem at easy scan he was right there no problem at all even run out my cigarettes while I was ringing on my groceries anything you ever need somebody always answers your question absolutely the greatest store good prices excellent service

Safeway is clean, well laid out, and there are customer service personnel within easy reach. The food is fresh, selection is like no other. The produce section is one of the best Ive found in the area. Safeway is the only store we shop. The bonus card takes dollars off your total, another plus.

What can you really say about a grocery store? Its convenient from my house but the prices are extremely high. Its pretty clean and you can usually find a worker easily but unless Im in a hurry I will drive a little further to save the money.

Easy to find items love the sales that they have and the location is excellent and convenient for me. I love getting my sliced roasted real bake turkey from here its not process. They have excellent prices on all items.

I really enjoy a clean well stocked and organized grocery store. Personel is pleasant and friendly always asking if they can help you find or provide assistance with a particular item. I really enjoy this most with this store. However the downside to my visit today was the discovery that Safeway’s seafood department in-house shrimp salad is now made with macaroni. Blahhhhh!!!! I have always purchased the $12.99 lbs shrimp salad and went home to prepare it by adding additional ingredients of my very own. A shortcut meal to say the least. Now Safeway is offering macaroni shrimp salad with majority macaroni and possibly 7-10 shrimp in the prepackaged container. I went directly to the seafood counter and was abreast of the same letdown. I know the economy took a huge hit but I don’t wish to purchase macaroni and a few floating shrimp with at an inflated seafood sale price. It seriously turned me off to purchasing the salad because it was mostly loaded down with old bay seasoning and very few shrimp. I chose to once again make my own again from scratch.

My first shopping experience at the Eldersburg Safeway was awesome! The store was immaculate and well stocked. Had no trouble finding the products needed and Nancy, my cashier, was absolutely precious! I think I have just found my new favorite place to grocery shop.

Safeway has great produce, and not slot of extra non food items which I like. After all I am going there to buy food.My biggest complaint is that they seem to be chronically under staffed. It is fine if you only need a few items and dont mind self checkout. If you hate self checkout or have large orders you will wait a very long time in the one check out lane Also it is difficult to locate a manager as no one seems to be stationed at the service desk for up to an hour at a time.

I keep trying to be a fan, but Im just not! The aisles are narrow and hard to navigate. Prices are higher than their competition. The store is clean and always tidy. I do LOVE their floral department. They have large amount of space for produce, yet the variety is lacking. The deli is typically in stock and well maintained. The staff is friendly. I often end up at another store to finish my shopping because I am unable to find what I need, at the price I need, at Safeway.

Had a great experience, they had everything I was looking for including hard to find zero sugar Mountain Dew flavors as well as Ginger Ale fruit flavors! Nice sale price too, just be prepared to buy in quantity to get the deals.

I am always able to get in and out fast and the store stocks a lot of variety of products.

They had the baked sour cream and onion lays that I cant find any where else and they had my diet green tea in stock. Win win.

Selection is fine. Employees are okay. My problem is that the freezers and cooler temps must be kept way too low. Eveytime we shop there our groceries are melted and thawed by the time we get home. Warm cheese, melted ice cream. And this is in 65 -75 degree weather! I actually have to throw stuff out its so melted/gross! This isnt an issue anywhere else. Id personally recommend Walmart or Martins if your buying anything cold.

I mostly just go to Safeway for the specials. Havent done a full order there in years. Found it to be expensive when I last did. Perhaps thats changed. Its usually not a very crowded store which is nice if you need to get in and out quickly.

I like this grocery store mainly because I can find everything without asking for help 95% of the time. Also, they have a good flower department and bakery.

In the last 10 months store has changed. Very few name brands...they have store brand Signature they are priced as if they were name brands and not a generic product. No cleaning products, and products in have always bought are gone...products that are advertised are always out of stock. The store is fine if you just want to pick up and get out quick..but forget it if you want to do your weekly shop

It was well stocked for almost all of the sales items. It wasnt too crowded even though snow was predicted in a day and a half. The roasted chicken 8 piece special was very tasty.

Most of the fresh produce section was closed recently for some renovations (?) and the selection was likewise affected. Other than that, they usually have what Im looking for.

Always clean and the staff is a lot friendlier than at Martin’s. Their deli seems to have better prices than Martins, and their own brand of deli meats tastes better than Martins brand. Their milk is very high though, but not enough to knock off a star.

All the employees are very helpful. The only thing wrong was they were out of some sale items but what can you expect for shopping late on a Sunday.

I just moved into town and this was my first and probably the last time shopping here. The layout if the store was confusing and cluttered. The nail in the coffin was when I got home I saw that a about 10 of the products I bought were expired...

Large seating area indoors for the Starbucks. Large seating area indoors for the deli. Decent selection albeit a tad smaller store for a Safeway. Floral section is nice, usually with someone that can assist. Some of the aisles seem narrower than they should be. Has 2 entrances/exits but theyre all on the same end of the store. Adjacent strip shopping center doesnt connect, but shares the parking lot, so you dont feel like you have to move your car to patronize the other places.

Not the easiest to navigate, its laid out strangely. Employees didnt give any real effort to helping me find a product

Friendly customers. Was in the express checkout and the gent before me had 3 racks of pork ribs. The cashier noted that they were 2 for 1. So he hurried back to get a 4th, and upon return paid for my groceries. Entertaining place to shop.

The store is clean and fairly empty so shopping was easy enough. What I dont care for is the layout of the store. Items did not seem to have any rhyme or reason to their location. For instance, vegetables were in the same aisle as automotive items.

This is the only Safeway I know without self checkout registers. They had them, but for some reason took them away. Wait time is very long, because there are never enough cashiers. But its clean and have very helpful staff.

I want to compliment several people at the Eldersburg, MD Safeway. Richard, the assistant manager is always friendly and helpful. Dustin is another friendly person in Produce. He always takes the time to show me some options for what Im looking for. Ms. Kaye and Dani at the Customer Service desk always take the time to help me with my needs. And Jack at the Seafood and Meat counter always helps me pick the right seafood. And he has complementary products for the meats and seafood that I purchase. He always has a good recommendation on how to prepare my purchase. He has helped me expand my Seafood menu. And Mario is always there to custom cut my meat when I have special requests. There are many other friendly people there, but I dont know everyones names. This is a great store and they have a quality selection.

The store needs an upgrade to reflect contemporary shopping demands such as self-checkout, which were available, but *removed*, scan-device shopping to streamline the shopping process, and in the U.S., you drive on the right side of the road, so were used to entering a building on the right... Here? You enter on the left... Not a big deal, but its awkward for shoppers entering the store.

The community of Sykesville/Eldersburg is very fortunate to have such a well managed, clean, and consistently stocked Safeway supermarket. Produce is fresh and rotated frequently. The meat department has excellent quality steaks and ground beef. It also imports fantastic lamb.The seafood department, however, is the true gem of the store. Jack works behind a counter teeming with local and imported quality fish, shrimp, and shellfish. Fillets are trimmed and even. The whole fish are fresh with clear eyes and shiny skin. Ask him about the specials for the day and you might end up learning something about the fish themselves! His customer service and friendly attitude make visiting Safeway a true pleasure. At the seafood counter, hes the best catch!

This Safeway is much better then the one on Reisterstown Rd in Owings Mills. They have more selection & organization.

It is notable and welcome that they have a butcher full time again, instead of that one day each week at each of five different store schedule they tried. I ADDED A STAR BACK onto the rating for this positive change.

Overpriced and understocked. Price for the same items at other stores are much higher at Safeway. The only saving grace is they had a really good special on a rib roast .

High prices, but a good variety. They dont put much out on sales for meat. Sometimes, they will tell you, We didnt get that meat in yet, its expected to deliver later on today. Its happened more than once, and quite annoying. Almost fraudulent if you ask me. I usually only go there for a couple of things, easy to run in and run out because theyre not busy. Usually the cashiers are pretty friendly and helpful, but beside that...i go else where.

The lady working near the self-check out is very rude. I had my daughter standing right besides me but she was like very rude to us. Unpleasant experience from the staff.
