Please When I go to this store I want to buy bolillos from that morning not from two days ago. They try to make you buy the old ones even when they have the fresh ones inside. Same with tamales they just want to sell you whatever they want. Service is getting worst then before attendants act like they own the place.

- One of the best places to get delicious baked goods- Conchas, Bolillos, cake, drinks, tamales, posole, and much more in this store all very good.- There is also wedding cakes and flan- Reccomend going here for a good dessert.

GOOD: prices and baked pastry goodness of the Hispanic heritage kind. Pastigel Bakery is a perfect place to enjoy coffee and pastries.

Cute place and service is fine. Note to new customers: Probably best to be ready to speak Spanish if your order is unusual or complicated. Note to management: updating a menu online/providing more details would be helpful. I saw that on DoorDash you sold smoothies but once I got here I understood it was just orange juice and carrot juice. Still glad I came though. Muffin was good. Carrot juice tasted as good as carrot juice can taste :)

Tamales are thick, delicious and you can taste the corn. If you like tamales with a lot of masa you will enjoy theirs. I love their atole de nuez. Besides sweet bread they also serve food.

I come here every so often. The bread, cookies, and all the baked goods are always good and fresh made multiple times a day. There are plenty of choices to pick from and everything is delicious. I recently came here today to pick up a lot of conchas and cookies for my daughters birthday party. There was well more than enough and the staff was quick and friendly. I will continue to come back as long as everything stays the same.Keep up the good work El Chicanito Bakery!

If I could, I’d give 0 stars. It was the First and only time I went there to try it out and the attendant was distracted didnt even answer a question I made and then I was choosing what to buy, I see the empanadas with tiny little flies around them, it was disgusting. When I finally decide to take what looked “fresher” I was about to pay and she ran outside to talk to another costumer and she told me somebody else would come to the cashier and of course nobody did. A person came out of the kitchen and didnt even ask me if I needed help or something. Very disappointing. Never ever coming back!

Last dollar Ill spend here. Was disappointed with the service here. They should have someone who speaks and understands English. We ordered a three tier birthday cake that was $101.00 . my wife had so much to do for this birthday party then she goes to pick up cake and was not offered any help taking it to the car and after I showed up and got the cake 10 minutes later they tell my wife about free local delivery.

Love the cake! Order it for my baby shower a day before and still got it done at the time I wanted it. Definitely recomend it (:

I never had a problem, until a birth cake im writing this with constructive purposes, so guys in the store be carefull and check cakes more often the expiration dates,other than this excellent!

This place is terrible they are always out of everything. I Asked for cheese fries they told me they had no cheese after 20 minutes of waiting, then in a second occasion I asked for gorditas and gave me sopes. The meat was not well cooked and cold, and to top it off they have expired drinks in their fridge. Customer service is terrible as well. I dont think I will ever return to the place.

I went to buy a cake and asked for the one with the most recent date of being prepared. The saleswoman gave me the freshest supposedly but when I got home I saw that she had torn off the sticker that said the expiration date. That makes me think that he was deceiving me and he hid it for something ... I called the bakery asking why I started the expiration date and he answered that they used to do that. And I hang up the call. Be careful with that ..... He said her name was Cintia

The tamales are horrible, I bought rajas with cheese and they barely had cheese and more dough than anything. The most expensive cakes that in other places and the truth are nothing of the other world, and the attention goes or the greeting answered me!

When he brought them to us, he told us from the counter that our tamales were there and left them on the counter.
