I will never do service here again. Miranda was very rude on the phone when I spoke to her about a past due balance from 2019 that I was unaware of. She held our stuff that my mom paid for and got embroidered at her store. She would not release the items to us. When I went in there to drop off an item and paid for that item in full she never stated anything to me about a past due balance from 2019 that needed to be paid before we could pick up. We have gotten other things embroidered there since 2019 and nothing was ever said about that when we picked up previous items within the year. We have gotten multiple bags done there and this invoice has never been spoken about any other time we’ve gotten bags done there within this year or any other time my mother has done service with her.

I ordered an embroidered handkerchief from this shop via Etsy for my father in law as a wedding day gift. Ms. Duncan went above and beyond when the package was lost in the mail with just a week to spare before the big day. She filed a missing mail report with the Post Office on my behalf and followed up several times. She even made a second handkerchief and sent it.... three days before the wedding. It arrived just in time. The original package ultimately arrived three weeks later and I returned it to Ms. Duncan per her request. If you are visiting her shop in Elizabeth City you can check it out as an example of her fine work, though her shop is no doubt full of excellent examples! I would absolutely recommend this shop because of the sweet owner who will go above and beyond for her customers. Thank you again!!!
