Drove my boat an hour and a half to these guys because of the great reviews and when I called the mechanic seemed very knowledgeable. Engine needed tuned and there was a gasket leaking. Was told it would be a 2 week wait once I dropped it off just to look at it. Normal enough I thought. Called a little over 2 weeks later and was told they would need another 2 weeks before it could be checked. Waited another two and a half weeks and called again, but this time was fed some lie about needing to check on a sensor or something. A week later got a call letting me know what was going on. It was better news than I thought and was happy but there was no mention of the magical sensor that was talked about. Now knowing the problems, I ok’Ed the repair and set a date to pick it up in 3 weeks as that was my next scheduled days off. Was then told “as long as no other work comes in I should be able to get you done” as if any incoming work was more valuable than my job/money. On par with my experience so far I received no call for 3 weeks. So I called a couple days before I was scheduled to come pick it up and was told that my boat wasn’t done and that they wouldn’t even be there on the day I was supposed to come to pick it up. I was told it would be another week so that he didn’t have to “rush through it” called again the day before I was rescheduled to come get it. Still not done but was told it would be ready. Made it clear I didn’t want to rush him through the job as I wanted it done right but was assured it would be ready. Actually received a call later that night to say it was ready. Picked up my boat the next day and headed to the lake. Backed the boat into the water and turned the key and nothing happened. No engine turnover, no starter clicks, nothing. Not wanting to drive it over an hour back to the shop after the experience I had I looked into it myself. All the cables from the dash/shifter back to the motor had been cut out of their holders and left hanging, and this had pulled the wires out of the shifter so it was not allowing the engine to start. The engine did start and ran decent and the leak had been fixed so I didn’t feel completely screwed over. But the engine ran high at idle and there’s large a gap in accelerator between shifting into gear and actually giving it some gas making it difficult to control at any level between high idle and full speed. Next day it wouldn’t even start. Took it apart myself to find a cracked float valve had been installed and was completely full of fuel allowing the carb to dump wayyy too much gas into the engine and flood it. Overall it wasn’t a good experience. If I hadn’t been calling to check on my boat not sure that it would have even been looked at. If you don’t have 3-6 months to wait and a brand new boat it’s probably worth finding someone else to do your work. I’d recommend anyone else over paying for your boat to sit and rot in their lot then having to fix it yourself.
I deal with customer service on a daily and Id have to say that this is the first time Ive ever been treated to such professional and helpful service like this

Do NOT go here! If you dont care about your boat or dont mind waiting 2-3 months, then ok. this is your place. Sevice and Customer Spt is very POOR!! I dont always write reviews, but I feel you need to be aware of this pathetic place!
