These guys sold me the car of my dreams! But dealing with them has been nothing but a nightmare. I have been asking them for 2 weeks on my plates . I understand they may take time to come in so I asked for a dealer tag extension since my current ones are expiring. Spoke to the finance manager after I never got a follow up from my sales guy, said he would overnight me a pair of dealer tag extensions. 5 days pass and I call again since I got nothing . Spoke to my sales guy and he said he’d call back . Not a single call back on a simple question to see if they were even shipped . Called back the day after . Not a single person in the entire dealer could answer me if the tags got shipped, now I have a 30k paperweight sitting on my driveway in which I use to make my living and cannot drive it . Don’t spend your thousands on dealership fees at this place . They will take your money and never get back to you on anything . Don’t go here
I go here to get my suspension and tires that are both custom done. They also do a full range of other services in their shop and the Mechanics are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I have also seen some of the cars that this dealership sells and the vehicles are very nice and the warranty on them is long and covers alot of the vehicle.
Bought a new Bronco and was told I could not transfer my handicap plates, MVA said I could have, its been a couple weeks and still no tags. I asked to set up for bank withdrawal and got a payment book instead. After waiting a couple weeks the paperwork had not been done so the bank took another payment for the trade in vehicle. Have called twice and have yet to get a return call on the status of my tags or why I got a payment book.
The service department is outstanding here. Bruce has made service a wonderful experience here for years. I cant say enough about how wonderfully these people handle themselves and treat theircustomers.Things in life are never perfect so dont expect perfection but do expect people who put their best efforts forward which is good enough for me. Ketty helped us with multiple services today as well. She was polite, professional and just plainly, a really nice person to help me with my questions and concerns. Thank you to your whole team!
Getting apportioned plates from here was a complete NIGHTMARE. Seems like it was the title clerk first time doing this. So after months of waiting and numerous incorrect weights on our registration we took it upon ourselves to register the truck for the proper weight so we could get the apportioned plates even though we paid for tags and registration fees. The delay was costing us money. Basically, If our truck isnt moving then we arent making money. As we expand our business, you have lost ours.
I worked with Dave from sales department. I wanted to buy a vehicle, he confirmed that the vehicle is available, I sent my private information about the company and myself, after that i tried reaching out couple of times with no response. Horrible customer service from salesman Dave.
When you need your car serviced and you can’t get it done because they don’t have help! NOT MY PROBLEM!!!! It’s absolutely ridiculous!!!! The service manager is like we don’t have enough people again not my problem hire people! Bruce said if you know of anyone he’d hire them on the spot, I call BS since there are people looking for jobs! Having to pay for taxi because you can’t have your own vehicle. Worst dealership in the place since Hertrich took them over! Will never purchase another car from them!!!!

From the first phone call until we drove our new Mustang Mach E off the lot, all we can say is AWESOME! Our salesman, Josh Merritt, is wonderful. Not only did he find the car we were looking for, he (and the team at Hertrich) worked through our unique situation with patience and professionalism. Unlike other salesmen we have encountered in the past, if Josh didnt know something, he didnt lie, or brush off the question. Instead he sought out the answer. Also, we did not feel pressured or deceived at any time. Most impressive, however, is that our service still has not ended. Any questions/resources we need, Josh and the team at Hertrich havent forgotten about us! We had a slight technical problem, so we sent Josh a message. Within minutes, we had a response. It doesnt get much better than that. Hertrichs have new customers for life!
Sales person was nice and great. I dont know what is up with these sales managers they all want to low ball. Then tell you that they have to fix this little dent and this little scratch so we cant give you what its supposed bring trade wise. When in fact they never fix that stuff just detail it change the oil and throw it on the lot for double and triple what they gave you for it. The vehicle I was interested was not worth what they were asking. Apparently it was a vehicle from the beach area. A vehicle 6 years old shouldnt have rust and pitted chrome so soon. Along with the scratches and gouges all over definitely not worth 22,000 bucks.
Found a vehicle I liked on their website. I asked for an out the door price with all fees included. They asked if I had a trade in and send pics and info.The price quote I received back may have been the most ridiculous thing I’ve read this year.First they left off one of the rebates I qualified for. Then they offered me $5000 less for my trade in than every other dealership that appraised it. Essentially they wanted me to pay $6000 over MSRP all said and done.I declined and said those numbers won’t work for me. All I got back was “no problem and good luck.” No negotiations or counter offers. I was dismissed immediately.I ended up buying the same truck at Porter Ford and got more than I expected for my trade in. Walked away $7000 less than what they offered.Oh and today the vehicle is now listed $2000 over what they told me last week. Looks like someone is going to get ripped off.

Do NOT make an appointment using their website. They will NOT honor the appointment. I had an email confirmation with a confirmation code for an appointment Id made 4 days ago. I talked to someone at the store and they said Thats not our problem. We dont have any control over the websiteIve been going there for years, but this is the last time. You dont treat your customers like that.

Cant take anyone’s word. Agree to a price and they change it. We still purchased the truck. However, since February it has had to be towed three times, been in the shop 6 times. When this shop does anything with the computer, we end up with a major breakdown and having to be towed. In addition- 100 days later and still have temp tags. I have already paid MVA for my tags but since title work is not yet submitted, I can’t get my tags. Not a good experience at all. Although our salesman was a great guy, I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Purchase 2 fords from this place. Not bad until a problem shows up on your ford. I Have a paint defect that is bubbling inside my rear window, and ford is doing nothing to help me. My car is only 3 years old. Purchase my mustang new on July 2017. Watch buying a ford, will not help when paint is bubbling, a lot of articles are online to about paint bubbling with ford cars and ford puts the blame on the car owners. Doesn’t want to own up on there mistakes.

Didnt get his promise in writing, but came in next day and he honored every word. The service department does a horrible job with record keeping. Of course you expect them to upsell you products and services but the cant even provide rational explanations why you need them. Their poor record keeping is often blamed on previous owners of the dealership records keeping or Ford Motor Company.
I recently bought a used Jeep Liberty on 4/15/19. The sales person was fantastic, the used cars manager was amazing, the finance manager was amazing.But, the Jeep has been having issues. The brakes squeal. I dropped it off on Monday 4/22/19 to have the brakes checked and replaced if needed, they couldnt recreate the problem. On 4/24/19 I went to start it and it was cranking but wouldnt completely turn over, I dropped it off that afternoon and the finance manager took me to the service department and told them what had been happening. So they gave me a loaner and they had it till Friday 4/26/19 and couldnt recreate the problem. The key fob isnt recognized randomly.They sell all used cars with a 12 month 12k warranty that covers everything. And a 45k maintenance plan but they are basically refusing to fix it.The Jeep is currently at my mechanic and they found the problems instantly. So I am currently paying out of pocket for the problems I have been having that should be covered by this warranty and maintenance.I would just stay clear of their service center if you plan on buying a used car cause they wont recreate the problem to save themselves money and time.

I flew 895 miles to buy this car. The drive home was 965 miles and it was well worth the time and airfare to get there. They were very gracious to pick me up at the airport which was almost an hour away from the dealership. I would like to thank them once again for going out of their way to pick me up and make me feel so welcome. I live in Iowa on the Illinois border. I have 4 ford dealerships with in 15 miles of my home. 2 in Iowa and 2 in Illinois and had to go almost 1000 miles to get a deal I was happy with. I had been searching for a few months and had 2 dealerships searching for a car like the one I purchased and honestly when I seen their asking price I thought it was a mistake I called them the following day and ask how much it was to get that car off the lot. When they told me full price I said please hold that car Im on my way. Again cannot be happier enjoying the car very much and I guarantee the next car I buy I will call them first
My wife and I bought a used car here and had excellent service. The salesman Jack did an awesome job with us. I found the car on line and dealt with the Internet Mgr. for pretty much most of the financial stuff. we exchanged messages for a couple days about the car I wanted and what we would be trading in. We did the credit app online and within minutes we had a response back with what we were looking for. We set a time to come in and do the deal mind you we drove 2 1/2 hours for this car. When we arrived it was sitting at the front door cleaned and detailed waiting for us. Went inside and did all the paperwork with no hidden surprises. Which ended up being a little more time consuming than it should have been but it was later in the evening on a Friday at the end of the month so it is what it is. The only issue that I really had the whole time was during the test drive we could feel vibration when braking. In my experience it felt like the rotors were warped a bit and the salesman that went with us agreed. When we brought it up to the Finance Mgr. while signing everything, He said I drove it home the other night and didnt notice anything and just shrugged his shoulders. I was buying the car anyway but that kinda pissed me off a little bit. So thats the only reason Im not giving 5 stars
They really work with you to make sure you drive away with something your happy with. Vernon was awesome yesterday. I got all the bells and whistles and ended up with a monthly payment I could live with. I will definitely be back!

I followed a truck I was interested in for 10 days. The day after it was posted, I called to establish a connection with a sales person. Truck would not be available to see for 10 days (Allegedly had to be painted, serviced, so on and so on..). I contact the Second sales rep as no one had followed up with me consistently and scheduled to travel an hourand a half to see the truck. I get there, wait outside for a halg hour before being entertained by the now Third sales rep.. but only after I sent a text to Alex saying Ive been here and have been waiting. He came outside as he got my text, read the text, then turned around and went right back inside without saying a word.. ALL TO FIND OUT, the truck was in fact, not at all what it was advertised to be. Truck was advertised as a manual transmission, it was an automatic, Painted that took a week to do, consisted of stock wheel being sprayed black (even the wheel balancers), and the wheel wells.. Truck was still on the lift in their Service Bay. THEN, the guy tells me that someone had already put a $500 deposit on it... AFTER I was told I could not do such as its FCFS. Then they told me that I could still buy the truck and that the one who put down the deposit, didnt sign anything so ya know, its not locked in.. THEN WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE DEPOSIT GOOD FOR!? Manager stepped in after I started calling them out in their terrible lack of information and communication, and played the tough guy act and basically told me that I wouldnt have bought the truck anyways. Its as if they were going out of their way to NOT make a sale! I was absolutely FURIOUS! On top of it all, they increased the price the night before I went to see it.. their response? Well we have more people looking at it so we increased the price.... WHAT!? Never again.

I have purchased multiple vehicles from them over the past 7 years. Ive worked with Elaine the sales representative each time. She is phenomenal to work with and definitely a major reason why we keep going back. We highly recommend working with Elaine. She is easy to work with and straightforward with you throughout the deal. We had a 2 year old and a 2 month old with us and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed to take care of the kids and rush the paperwork to get us out of there as quickly as possible. They were really awesome about that and great with our little ones! Their running inventory is always good and they have access to the vehicles at another dealership so its easy to find what youre looking for without a lot of compromise. The new manager was also awesome and really improved our experience. We use the service department regularly for all maintenance. They really go out of their way to make things right as painlessly as possible. The new facility is wonderful and we really enjoy our overall experience there. The only complaint I have is that they were supposed to cancel our Extended Service Plan on the vehicle we traded in for us and just found out that it didnt go through. We had to call and get it figured out. So just a slight administrative glitch. Overall, we definitely recommend checking them out!
Granddaughter was visiting Elkton, MD from Jim Thorpe, PA and Tuesday the Ford Fiesta wouldnt go into gear. Contacted Andy from Ford Elkton Service and I had AAA tow the car over that evening. Spoke with Andy on Wednesday and that afternoon he called back, informed me that the car was fixed and available for pickup - well under $100! Great service, people and price.

Recently purchased a 2007 F-150 (the least expensive used 4x4 truck on the lot) and David Jolley was an exceptional sales person. No pressure and asked the right questions to qualify my needs. He spent way more time then he should have with me because Im one of those buyers regardless of price range and thoroughly look a vehicle over. Despite my price range I was treated by him, Todd the sales manager and the service manager as if I was buying a 70k vehicle. This was my first visit here so time will tell when it comes to the warranty and service but based on my initial experience I have no worries.

Just a fantastic buying experience. I stopped in to look at a used car that they had on the lot. Mike pulled the car out and we were off on the test drive. He took his time going over the features of the car. When it was time to close the deal, Al had it all organized. The car was immaculately cleaned and the whole process went quite smoothly. Great experience, I too used Joe Lloyd as my sales person and he was good. No pressure worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted.
