The doctor is great, knows his material and really friendly!
I went here for the first time with both my kids it was a back to back appt I loved the Eye doctor he really communicated with me and my kids and the ladies working there were great they all made it an amazing appt
Just had a horrible experience with the Old lady that works at the optics center and her young old associate as well. I was the only man in the line and was asking for contacts. She asked me if I had an order and I said No. She then asked for my info to look up my prescription and then said we dont have any for you and do not carry them on the shelf anymore. I proceeded to ask other question to understand the change and rectify the matter. NOPE! instead the Other associate decided that she should call security on me instead. Not good.
I am really disappointed in the customer service at the Elkton Walmart Vision Center. I have been going there for glasses for a few years. For myself and all 3 of my children. Now when I call I am put on hold for 10-15 mins. I call back and am put on hold again. When you go there and wait, they dont even acknowledge me. How are you surposed to make an appointment when u cant get anyone on the phone. I hope they get help or something.
Brought in my own prescription. Just needed to pick out glasses. From my initial visit to the pick up all the ladies were extremely nice. Very pleased with the glasses and the entire experience.
They need to have more than one person working. Some of the worst customer service. One week ago I was there and the customer service was not that great when I picked out my frames for order. Today, I got there with 3 people ahead of me. I was just there to pick up glasses, a quick one step thing. She spent 15 minutes TALKING to one customer, if she was only doing computer work or anything else job related, I would not have minded. She stopped during the first customer to help another one. She started with the 3rd customer and then she spent so much time talking with her. She didnt pause to help me because that would have inconvenienced her apparently or interrupted her little conversation. So when I didnt want to talk with her and was already to have my glasses and go, she acted like a fool and wanted to ask me what my problem was because Im not a chatty person with time to waste.
I have been going here for over 2 years now. There are 6 people in our family and we are all patients. I have never had an issue with the doctor nor the staff. In fact, because my one son is constantly breaking his glasses and we are always in there, they know him by name. They do get busy and sometimes under staffed, but this is not the employees fault. We never have had an issue with appointments running late. When you call there is a long wait to get through which is frustrating, my main reason Im giving it 3 stars. Over all, I would highly recommend this vision center. Great service and great prices.
They have very poor customer service. They can not even call when they cancel your appointment. The employees give a huge attitude when it waa completely their fault foe not calling and canceling the appointment due to the doctor being sick.
Had an exam there for contacts. The doctor prescribed one thing (+6.5) and ordered (+7.0). I had headaches and called to have the prescription corrected. They made me come in to have it corrected. I brought my boyfriend who essentially had to speak for me because the doctor wouldnt listen to reason and did not remember having seen me. He then told me I didnt need to come in and have it corrected! Im going to the other Walmart Vision Center in North East to get my prescription renewed because its a different doctor. Heres to hoping for a different, more pleasant experience!
Im not satisfied with customer service here...Ill let you use your imagination or come visit and find out....
How many times does one have to call in order to he helped? 3 times and counting, so far... They pick up the phone and immediately put you on hold, never return to the phone. Ive been on hold for the 3rd time today, each time averaging 10 minutes, and still havent been able to speak to someone to make an appointment!
Order my glasses, the day I received them told the lady I was not able to see at all she told me it will take a couple of weeks. The glasses keeps hitting my lashes, they told me twice I had 90 days today I call and see on website and it says 60 days . Then she says did you not read the paper work. Have gone twice to adjust them and two different ladys kept saying 90 days. Will never go to Vision center in Wal-Mart again. Will call the insurance company also the lady Ashley said that I can have a refund to my insurance but it will take 3 months, I told her I didnt want that I just want a pair of glasses I can read and it wont keep hitting my lashes. There prices may be good there service needs to be address with corporation of the company.
They are good place to go for vision but you gotta remember they dont have enough employees to go around to help all the thousands of customers remember its not the employees fault they only work there dont get mad at them .
I hate getting new glasses so I wanted to let others know of my GREAT experience at the Wal-Mart Vision Center in Elkton. I had my eyes examined elsewhere but the glasses at this high-end national chain in Annapolis were just too expensive (over $400.00 even with vision insurance) so I decided to give Wal-Mart a shot. Rebecca C. was the person who helped me pick out the frames and suggested I get single vision high index lenses. The glasses were ready in 5 days and I can see perfectly with them. The glasses were a tad over $100.00 so I not only saved money but I got a cute pair of glasses that are comfortable too! Wal-Mart in Elkton will be my go-to place for every pair of glasses I need in the future.
There is a need for better customer service by far. Please retrain your staff or fire them and hire more mature and compatant employees.

They were rude i didnt want to take me cuz i was a few min late after driving 30 miles and thats after the rep look me up and down like i wasnt suppose to be there ....skin color didnt match her,s i guess they suck and rude and poor Customer service rather go blind then go here again.

Terrible customer service. The doctor is always sick and he messed my boyfriends contacts up 6 times now. Its like pulling teeth to get them to fix the issue.
I was calling to schedule an appointment, the dude left me on hold for 10 minutes.
