I called this company after another HVAC messed up my appointment. I was so frustrated after two-nights without air conditioning. I called and spoke to a very nice gentleman who was able to fit me in on the SAME day. He called to see if I was home, arrived earlier than anticipated. Did not gouge me for same day or diagnostic fees! Realized the issue was minor. Charged me a very minimal fee and was on his merry way. Mr. Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning has made a customer for life! Very appreciative for their superior level of service!

They come quick to see what was wrong and where truthfully to what the issue was and how much it will cost to fix. To me that’s the biggest thing I look for is Honesty not someone that’s trying to sell you something that you really might not need. I have used Mr Comfort for several years and Denny has always done a wonderful job with all the repairs. We recently had to get a new heating unit and we were recommended the high efficiency heat pump unit. Denny sent out two guys to install the new unit. They were very professional, nice, thorough, and cleaned up after they finish the install. They went over the unit thoroughly. We had the unit over a month now and love it. It heats up our first floor and the basement so much better than the old unit. It actually gets too hot at 70 degrees with this new unit. We are planning to replace the upstairs unit in the fall. I would recommend Mr Comfort for your HVAC needs. I had a dual split unit installed in the spring. The unit provides both air conditioning and heat. Denny and his crew worked hard, were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional and completed the installation in a timely manner. The products they use are top notch. The AC kept the place cool over the summer and have kept the place warm so far this fall all while saving energy and reducing my electric bill. You cant go wrong with Mr Comfort.

I heard about Mr.Comfort from a co-worker that used them for a cracked oil heat exchanger change-out. He got a nice clean install of a Trane heat pump unit and new horizontal oil furnace in a crawl space.In our case, we had a noisey inducer motor on our 17 year old Propane IPC furnace and didnt beat the failure! It just wouldnt spin and being in March the weather was still chilly. We went out that evening and couldnt find (spring stuff already in) a single space heater to get us through! When we phoned up Mr.Comfort, they promptly brought out three units to use until our new units were in. They removed the old units, did a nice clean install of the new units and took care putting down entrance mats to protect our flooring. When done, they cleaned up everything like they hadnt even been there, were mindful of our outside plants and everything looked great! They are listed on the BBB and have many positive Google reviews. Very nice people to deal with! Here is what we had put in:- Goodman 96.1% effeciency Propane dual stage gas furnace- Goodman 4 ton 16 SEER dual stage air source heat pump- Ground type base with 6 snow legs- Nest Pro learning thermostat- Condensate pump

I cannot say enough good things about this HVAC company, Mr. Comfort and it’s owner, Denny. We had been dealing with him for a few years now and every single time it’s nothing but honest work and prices. The employees are courteous, punctual and efficient. It doesn’t matter who works on your job, the quality of work is consistent. He does not even charge a consultation fee like any other company. There was never a time that I doubted his findings, there were even multiple times when he worked with us on financing and gave us options that we are comfortable with. You would not ever see this kind of customer care elsewhere, guaranteed. He’s so good that sometimes I have second thoughts about recommending him for the fear of him being too busy to do our next job, but I just can’t keep this wonderful company all to ourselves. He was referred to us and there is no wonder why his clients love him. If you ever need an HVAC company, do not hesitate to contact him, I guarantee you would be a lifelong customer.

We lost our air condpitioning when our power went out due to Tropical Storm Isais. When our power came back on, the air conditioning did not. A friend referred Dennis to us. I gave him a call and he was very responsive. He came out that afternoon and with in 15 minutes he had our air conditioning back on. Dennis was very professional, friendly, efficient and very did not charge us an outrageous fee. So thankful for Dennis! Will definitely be calling him the next time we have an issue.

Had a full system heat pump install. The crew was here on time and very courteous and friendly. The install was all done in a day and the removal and cleanup of the old system was great. They answered all my questions and gave me an overview on how to work the entire system. Denny is quick to respond with any further questions I have. Dont hesitate to do business with the company. Dennis and his team are excellent. I typically get three or four estimates for HVAC and then call Mr. Comfort. Dennis was very honest and provided me with lots of good info, whether I went his company or not, which I really appreciated. He didn’t try to sell me on a bunch of unnecessary stuff and didn’t sound like a salesman. After speaking with him and having him come out and do an estimate, I had already decided to go with him even though I had another estimate scheduled after his. The work done, so far, has been great and I didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg. I really don’t feel I’m going to have any issues though since he was so honest straight off the bat. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone and have.

Mr Comfort H&A installed 2 Split units for a total of 7 rooms. Every part of the transaction was efficient and pleasant. The quotes were accurate honored, the work was done, and the units have worked perfectly. We had a new Heat Pump installed over 4 years ago by Mr Comfort(Dennis) without any problems. Yesterday, a Sunday, we called him about it not being cool enough. Woke up with no heat this morning. Dennis tried to help over the phone but finally had to come out to check things. Arrived promptly when he said he would. Immediately diagnosed the problem and 10 minutes later, heat restored. Great customer service- as usual!

One of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. We had a whole house system put in and they did the initial install fast enough when they wanted to be paid but i couldnt get them back to finish. They said since the weather turned hot they didnt have time so I ended up having to pay someone to finish what they started. They said they are a small company operating on a big company schedule so that became my problem. I wouldnt recommend them even for the smallest job.

Friendly, professional and timely! Called Dennis early on a hot summers day. He was at my house by noon and returned at 8 to be sure the pressure in the unit was accurate. Not only did I received a call the next day to be sure we were cool and comfortable, he made suggestions on how to get the most efficient air flow throughout the house. We are so pleased with Mr Comfort! The cold air stopped blowing and were headed for 90 degree days next week. I called at 10 AM and he arrived at our house by 4:30 PM that afternoon. Renovated a home and needed a 100% new install, he would not return to finish the last 5% of the job. Kept promising to come out, but something always came up. Cost me THOUSANDS in interest over SEVEN WEEKS and delayed all of the finish work, cost me another thousand to have someone else finish his work. His response when I finally got him on the phone was that he was busy because of the weather change (new money) and that if I COULD FIND HIM RELIABLE EMPLOYEES hed send them right out. What a horrible business person. Dont. Use. Him. Ever.

Dennis Mellott is a trustworthy person who came out to help us with our broken heater late on a Friday night. I called Dennis for a free estimate on installing a new HVAC. My old one was 30 years old and had to go. From my first impression to the end of the discussion it was obvious Dennis was an honest straight forward professional. He explained the work to be done in terms that I could understand. The next day Dennis e-mailed me with an estimate on two separate options. I ran the request past my neighbor who has been servicing HVAC systems for 40 years. He said that is was a very reasonable estimate. My neighbors company could not match it. He said as long as the work is quality and the BBB rating is good then go for it. Well I did. Dennis sent his crew about a week later. Great couple of guys who also were very clear about what needed to be done. They finished the job in one day. They did a great job. I am sooo very satisfied with my new HVAC. It was great to meet and to hire Dennis. In my opinion you are simply not going to find a better contractor.

My air conditioner was making a horrible noise I called Mr comfort and he was here within a couple hours he checked out my unit and found out it was the fan he ordered the part and sent Craig out the next day the service was fast and both denny and Craig were very personable and filled me in what was going on before they did anything would highly recommend

Never showed up supposed to be here at 9:30 that turned into 12:00 its now 1:30 no phone call no show never again.

Honestly I dont know much about HVAC except for in cars because Im an auto tech but I know the basics to try and fix it but that doesnt mean that not only me but my mom deserve to be disrespected by one of the techs, honestly and the service was crap because our unit is still acting up!!
