I wasnt the bride, my good friend was however as her maid of honor I came to pickup with her. Mollie was so kind and patient. She took extra precautions by having us wear our masks inside and wash our hands once we came in. The love and care she put into my friends dress showed in every way. The sweet words written on the bustle were such a nice touch (not to mention a great cheat for me!) and the dress still fell beautifully even when bustled. No wings for our bride! She took great care in explaining to both of us how to put on the undergarments as well as how to best zip the dress so it would all fall perfectly. Mollie is a miracle worker! I bought a beautiful dress from an off the rack store but ran into trouble with alterations. Im 3 sizes smaller on top than my hips and was told by the first seamstress that it was impossible to bring in the top enough to fit me. Mollie saw the same issues but figured out a solution instead of turning me away. She was adamant that I was going to get to wear the dress I chose and she would make it work for me within my budget. It has been great to have a local bridal seamstress working on my wedding dress. Mollie set the expectations out during our first visit and sent text reminders before each scheduled appointment. I was nervous about someone working on the delicate pure silk dress but Mollie was careful and was a true expert working with the fine fabric. Mollie is magical. I came to her out of desperation a month before my wedding after having a very negative experience with another seamstress. The second I put my dress on and Mollie took a look at it, she knew exactly what had gone wrong and calmly explained how she was going to fix it. Without me even prompting her, she also noticed that the dress had been cut along the bottom by the previous seamstress in a less-than-professional manner and promised she would make it more pleasing. The things that I disliked about the previous alterations were brushed away and dismissed by the previous seamstress, making me feel like I was being too picky or imagining things, but Mollie helped me understand and put into words what I was feeling and noticing, and that really put me at ease.The second visit she had taken the bodice of my dress in perfectly, and altered the straps so it fit me even better. She then spent an hour and a half on the floor further re-cutting the bottom of my dress so that the layers fell correctly. I stood there wearing my dress, watching it transform before my eyes – it was amazing. With the dress a bit more tamed, she also re-did the bustle, which was a bit odd-looking from the previous seamstress. She gave me my “bride moment” that I had been missing ever since I bought the dress months and months ago!Every interaction with Mollie put me at ease as an anxious bride getting close to the big day. She is professional, kind, timely and organized, and she was very accommodating to me with my time crunch and with my dress being a true fixer-upper. Mollie does incredible work! I bought a Monique Lhuillier 2 piece couture gown made completely of silk, as a sample. The bodice included hundreds of hand cut silk layered flowers, beaded with crystal and pearl, and required a true expert. Mollie expertly altered it to fit like it was made just for me. She also made me a slimmer, lighter skirt and belt to match so I could have a second look for dancing. There’s absolutely no one else I would ever use for formal or bridal alterations.

I would highly recommend Molly to any bride. She is so dedicated to making you feel beautiful and listens to your every request. She has years of experience and it shows through her amazing talent. I am so glad I found her to alter my gown.

Mollie was hands down the BEST!! Right before my first appointment our state went into lock down due to Covid-19. I had to not only cancel my appointment but change my whole wedding date to next year. Like any bride we spend over a year planning and getting excited to put on our DRESS!
