We stopped in for ice cream late one evening. We were greatest by the young girl behind the counter immediately. She was pleasant and helpful with describing all the different flavors and sampling the ice cream. We were very happy with our choices and loved the ice cream. I would highly recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth.

We drove here from The Narrows Too campground. Great flavors of ice cream and the waffle cones were awesome, flavored with cinnamon. I got coffee and butterscotch double cone. Well done on Covid protocols too, with masks required and a big shield by the counter.

We enjoy this icecream and make a special effort to stop there. I was disappointed at the very small pieces in the Heath Bar Coffee recently, particularly as I had some with huge candy pieces recently from an icecream competitor.

They have delicious ice cream that they make. Lots of flavors to choose from. Tip, skip the homemade waffle cone. It tends to taste/feel stale. It also disintegrates faster than you can eat the ice cream.

A wonderful gem of an ice cream place. They care deeply about their customers so each person/group in line is about 3-10 minutes to get taken care of as they seem to be light on workers. I highly suggest utilizing their website and Facebook and assembling an order and calling ahead, definitely cuts down on time. This summer they been doing 5 scoops for 5 Fridays where you pick 5 flavors of ice cream for $5! Please note all flavors come in one bowl and are not individually assembled on this deal. Smoothies are yummy as well, make sure to add a scoop of ice cream to be blended in to really make it good. Have coffee too and will do coffee ice cream float. Good selection of flavors too!They are doing their due diligence for COVID precautions - masks on employees, masks required to order, window service instead of going into store, markers on the ground for social distancing, order window and pickup window with tray system so the surface your ice cream is served on is consistently clean

This place is terrific. Its a little off the beaten path for tourists like myself. We found it after visiting the train in Ellsworth then going to see the hydroelectric dam just a couple blocks away. The dam wasnt exactly a tourist attraction. The ice cream here was fantastic. It was perfect after a long day in the sun and its a fun stop between Bar Harbor and Bangor.

Best ice cream that Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot of ice cream! Came here every single day that I could. The Dulce de Leche was my favorite, but I tried almost every flavor and loved them all.

Got the Elis Oreo and it is the best cookies and cream ice cream I have ever had. The homemade waffle cone was very good too, tasted kind of like cinnamon toast, which didnt pair the best with the oreo ice cream but would probably be great with the vanilla or blueberry. Has indoor and outdoor seating.

Good ice cream place right of main in Ellsworth. If you are on your way back our going to acadia, its worth a stop here than getting your cream in bar harbor. The staff was super nice, the place was super clean, and it was decorated well. It was cozy, though, so quarters get cramped real quick if its busy.
