I have rented twice from the Elmira Grand Central Ave Penske location. Both experiences were positive. Their customer service and attention to detail were impeccable. They ensured that the type of truck that was requested was available, clean, and ready for pick up at the scheduled time. With that said, if you need a rental, I would highly recommend these folks!

Alex went above and beyond to help me get a truck last minute for a one-way move when my U-Haul reservation fell through. He even worked with the Corning location to help me out the best he could.Not to mention when we picked up the truck, it was brand new and made for an easy move!

They really helped out in a pinch when at the last minute U-haul told me they did not have the large truck I had reserved available for one-way service (bait and switch?)Got my truck and my car trailer on the spot at Penske. Warning: due to liability concerns, they wont help you get your car on the trailer, so bring someone who can make sure you are in the right position to drive on. Easy to follow directions on the equipment and QR codes to view video instructions.

On this particular visit to the business in question; I was with a family member who was the one actually partaking in the services offered by Penske Truck Rental.As such my review is based on our combined experiences with the business on this visit. The information presented also is based on the experience of the family member I was with at the time; as opposed to my experience aloneNow as for the experience in question. I rated this visit as 3 stars based upon the fact that the visit was neither particularly pleasant; nor was it unpleasant. I didnt have a large amount of input on the rental or the actual usage of the rental; however my family members experience was Decent in there opinion. I concurred with there opinion.The actual renting was uneventful. The staff that my family member interacted with where neither overly polite nor where they rude. I didnt notice a particularly friendly demeanor from the staff. However; they where not rude.They did there jobs and helped answer questions but did not leave a memorable impression of politeness upon me. They were adequately polite would be the most accurate description of the employees conduct that I can give.The actual rental and return process went smoothly. The rental did what it was needed for adequately; according to my family member. We didnt discuss pricing. As such I cant give an impression as to the reasonableness of the pricing.We didnt get into details as to what all services are offered or the respective pricing. My family member just described the pricing as average; though I dont know what that price was compared to.I dont have more details at this point. As such I hope this review at least gives a general idea as to the quality of this business to those looking for that information.

The best price for a rental truck, and they are very flexible with turn in times.

Cheaper than uhaul and better trucks. Always choose Penske. They try harder.
