A but over priced. Everything is marked up then you use your advantage membership to still equal out above competitor prices

I like the store. Variety is abundant. Prices are fair as with every other Giant Eagle. It is a clean store and the staff are very helpful. I do have a concern that I think should be addressed swiftly. I witnessed 1 cashier place raw chicken products into 2 different beverage cases near the checkout. I dont care how busy it is, that is unsanitary and potentially harmful to others. The soda/water bottles could easily become contaminated. But also the refrigeration system is designed to maintain a temperature for beverages not for raw chicken. This chicken will be put back in the meat area at some point but how do you know if its been cold the entire time? Its just gross. I will purchase raw meat/poultry elsewhere just to be safe.

The people in the pharmacy are rude, and indirect with their approach. Need better communication skills and not to come off so abrasive.

The store is clean and well stocked, the reason for the 2 stars has to do with the 5 for $20 deal in the meat department; I just paid $25 for 5 advertised items.The meat department needs to get its act together.

Always a terrible experience. 5 minutes after 9 and a lady got incredibly rude and sarcastic with me about moving to the checkout faster. I plan on never spending money at Giant Eagle again. Meijers is way better anyway.

It is utterly sad that the only fresh products this store has either food that comes in a box or booze from the alcohol section.all their fresh fruits are rotted out, and past expiration. some of their bagged breads are molded, their vegetables by the looks of their tags are past expired if not just reached expiration day. Im frankly surprised rats and roaches arent running about on the floors. this place is a joke, and Im tempted to call in a health inspector to make a surprise visit to this place.pray no one does, cause this stor would be shut down on the drop of a hat with all the evident violations rittled about within.

It is always so clean here. I havent been in a while but it wasnt too hard finding my way around since they redid the aisles. The only thing I do not like is how they have the card terminal at the end of the registers now. You have to wait for the customer ahead to completely finish before you can load your stuff because they have to come back to the end of the register if they are using mobile or card payment. Then the cashier wants to rush you while you are trying to load...they want your advantage card to scan. I liked how it was before.

Pleasant like always not busy at all.

Went to this location with my boyfriend and I usually go to Sheffield since it’s closer. This location had THE worst self checkout helper, she made snide remarks to my boyfriend and I, another couple checking out behind us and an older gentleman having trouble scanning his items.. she was rushy and rude towards the whole self checkout area. We also were buying alcoholic drinks to which we needed help since she needed to check out IDs since were younger and definitely don’t look like we’re old enough to buy it being 25 and 24 years old, well she never checked our IDs and complained about us having over 12 items at the self checkout while trying to “fix” the machine.. we had 20 items but they were closing and there were only a few people there so we thought it was okay since we were going to be quick about checking out, overall I don’t think I will go back to that location if I don’t have to.. the manager i spoke to about the nasty attitude cashier was very nice though, hopefully they will tell her to be nicer to people and not have an attitude anymore.. very unnecessary since no one was rude to her first, we never said one word to her until she got snippy.

I only go here occasionally out of convenience. I find it pricey, half the store smells like seafood going bad. Ive complained about this in the past. The cashiers no longer load your groceries into your cart, but rather turn and engage in conversation with other employees.Im elderly and handicapped and yet received no help.This was the final straw for me.Im done with this store.

Its all right its just too dark on big for me to walk from one end to the other end just to get what I need it has a large selection of ethnic foods but its just too big for me its hard to walk that entire store to find what youre looking for.

The store is good but the pharmacy is HORRIBLE! I get my prescription every month. Every time I call they always have an attitude, like they HATE their jobs! By far the worst experience I’m definitely switching my pharmacy!

Well kept store, with mostly friendly staff. They observe all local and state guidelines as far as things currently are. I prefer this store to any of the other ones of its chain in my county.

They offer a wide variety of gluten free and reduced sugar foods as well as a large selection of ethnic foods

Most everyone that works here is super friendly with the exception of 1 woman. I feel like the employees are friends because they treat you that way

Would not honor medical mask exemption. Cashier/customer service rep Kelly said that the mask mandate is a law, refused to allow me to check out. Manager Jim stated cashiers are uncomfortable waiting on me because of my disability. If they have on a mask and /or are vaccinated, are they not protected??? I have been shopping at this store for years, but because of this discrimination, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION!!!

The majority of employees are cold and unwelcoming. Its as if local management, unlike other GE stores I have been to, go out of their way to hire cold, unfriendly employees.

Giant Eagle is always a pleasure to shop at. The customers were doing the social distancing. The majority wore masks unlike a very popular super store.

I love Giant Eagle. They are fantastic. They have the items you dont expect to find in a supermarket. I only shop the sales. But I save a lot of money shopping that way. I also like the customer service counter . They excellent in customer service at the Midway Store. Also there is a cashier by the name of Chase that works in the store at the registers. This cashier deserves extreme recognition for the service she not only gives the customers but the handicap customers as well. I was on a scooter and she went above and beyond to assist me. I was so very impressed and extremely appreciative of her help.

Great place to get groceries, they have all the name brands you could possibly want and for a fair price. Great deli as well. I love buying the items needed to make my own subs at home. They also have a kitchen type thing where you can get rotisserie chicken macaroni and cheese and just things like that.

It was the worst experience i have ever had. Went thru the aelf serve register. Well it wouldnt scan my products 2 times. So i had to ask for help. Well the woman who was suppose to be helping was on her cell phone and acted like i was a bother to her when she had to come help me. I will never shop at Giant Eagles in Elyria Ohio again. I am a paying customer and i will not be treated like i am disrupting her time on her cell phone again. Management. Your losing customers left and right for their bad customer service. I was there today! I work in customer service for over 25 years.

Kinda pricey, as they are apt to be. Didnt have what I needed, and sometimes gets rid of the things I love. Its convenient and mostly reliable though. Oh, and its open late, which has saved me a few times.

Right now with the social distancing its nice shopping at Giant Eagle as the store is not nearly as congested as another popular super store thats nearby where people are not observing the rules set forth for our protection. The little bit more we pay is worth the stress free shopping at Giant Eagle.

Pharmacist was rude with my wife on the phone and when I went to drop a script off for a patient he rolled his at me. Seems like an all around miserable human.Hope he finds a new career soon

As grocery stores go, Giant Eagle offers is much product as most any others. And their prices are pretty reasonable. And they work hard to earn your loyalty with perks

This store is run very well. Once you learn the layout it is very easy to shop. The selection is great.People that work there are great too!

I dont go there often, the checkout situation is beyond pathetic. Be prepared for a long frustrating wait. I do not at all understand why they allow this to be so? I do go there every couple weeks though, the bakery has the best breads and very good cakes cookies and desserts. Also the food prepared at the deli is excellent. Chicken dishes, including pot pies that are the best. Ready made meals all good. The seafood and meat counter is also very good. Little expensive but nice treat once in awhile.

Terrible, they got like 5 check outs to use and 6 check outs only for giant eagle advantage card holders(which is a free card u can only get at certain hours) if they opened every lane to everyone the place would be great if I didnt have to waste time waiting in line while theres open check out lanes not being used

My favorite place to shop. Especially when there are all those price drops and can get fuel perks (.10 for every 50.00 you spend) some of the cashiers dont seem to happy most of the time especially some of the ones that run the self check out. The older lady is super sweet she always gives the boys candy or a activity book when we go

I have been a Giant Eagle customer for about 25 years, most of them spent at this store. I have never had a bad experience of any kind. The store has always been well-kept and well-stocked, and their house brands are all of good quality. They stock all the items that I prefer, but also add new items and services regularly. The addition of an in-store liquor outlet a few years ago made it even more convenient to shop there, and their prices are kept in line with other stores in the area. Finally, I really enjoy using my Fuel Perks points about once a month to get a tank of gas for less than $1 per gallon!
