I got a new head unit and backup camera installed for my Toyota Matrix 2011 (Manual). It was reasonably priced and it ended up looking great and working perfectly. They took the time to show me how everything works when I came to pick up the car. Overall great shop, definitely would reccomend to others.

I recent purchased a Sony 8.95 stereo for my 2001 Yukon and had it originally installed by a big box retailer. After getting it back I wasn’t happy, and the big box guy offered no help. I called Spencer at SoCal Custom and he and his team re-installed it and it now looks 1000% better! On top of that, he adjusted the sound output, fixed my sub and upgraded my overall sound.This is the only place in North County to go!!

Aside from quality audio installs in my high end and classic cars, he was able to troubleshoot electrical issues that couldn’t be properly resolved by other shops such as the main battery lead, rerouting the main electrical wire and harness after major engine work, power antenna, power trunk and more over the years. Couldnt be happier with Max and SoCal Custom. He took one look at my 2009 Tacoma and said Oh, we can have some fun with this. Within 10 minutes he put together a comprehensive and reasonable quote to upgrade my truck to an Alpine touch-screen with Apple Car Play, and explained in detail what every part was for. Installation was under 2 hours, and he took the time to help me pair my phone and explain everything about the unit when I picked up my truck. Very easy to talk to, straight forward, no-nonsense and high quality. Will be back for any future car audio upgrades.

I called to ask for a quote to install my 2 waterproof speakers and my sub in my 4runner. They told me to come in for a quote. I stopped by and was immediately told my speakers wouldnt work in a car, but that I could buy new ones from them. Ive used them in my past 3 cars and they sound great! I want to keep them because my 4runner has a removable top and theyre waterproof. He tried to upsell me a $400 Amp and new speakers instead of using the speakers I already owned and requested a quote for. I never got a quote from him. The best he gave me was 400 for an Amp plus labor. For some reason, this guy had a chip on his shoulder. I walked because he didnt want to work with me and was upselling.

Spencer and his team are top notch. His work is rock solid and he stands behind it. Thats what you get when you go to a privately owned business and the owner works there. You wont be disappointed.

Great shop was having trouble getting the settings right on my amp pulled up they assisted me and now my sub hits the hardest it has since i got it and sounds great. Max assisted me very polite and professional .Definitely will be going back for all my car audio needs!!!

Working with Spencer on my Mercedes Sprinter projects of custom work has shown me top notch ability.

First off the customer service is outstanding. the owner is a professional lay back guy. went in with my problem of my AMP not turning off, it would stay ON all day and the outcome was it would get hot to the touch. couple minuets of Spencer checking around he concludes that its my Deck. He sells me on a sweet new Alpine Deck with all the goods in it. Including finding prob. and solving it, I say it was 30min. or so. Will return for more installs. Thankz!!!

Went in to get subwoofers installed after going to multiple other places and them quoting me hundreds of dollars or flaking on me... was fed up and came here- GREAT service!!! I was helped immediately and he even put up with my 4 prior phone calls to make sure that this would work and it did! Finished installing the subs (2016 Kia Sportage which, let me tell you, is a pain) in under 2 hours and gave me a generous discounted price in order to fit my budget. They sound amazing and Im coming back here for everything- thank you!!!
