Best donuts of my life. And Ive eaten at lots of fun donut places. I think Ill be dreaming about these for a few years until I make it back to this part of California... They were super friendly, too.

All the 🍩donuts🍩are made on shared equipment so my son can’t enjoy these treats. 😢Also, they only take cash!! 💵For those two reasons, I’m giving Leucadia Donut Shoppe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Otherwise, the donuts are delish. 😋 If you want to try them, I recommend you get there early. 🌅 The shop is open everyday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM EXCEPT MONDAYS.**By 1:00, I’m told the donut options are slim to none.

Leucadia Donut is an awesome, hole in the wall donut shop with plenty of delicious donuts. You will want to get here at a good time (not late in the morning) if you expect to find that favorite donut to eat. The donuts are extremely fresh and taste amazing. A lot of people like to ride bikes, walk, run etc…since there is not a lot of parking but there are a few spots. The owners are very nice and know what they are doing.

Great local donut shop. Get there early because once they sell out, they close. And they sell out regularly. Theres usually a line in the morning especially on the weekends but it goes quickly. The donuts are fresh and delicious the owners are very friendly.

A local favorite, and for good reason. A ton of variety, and the ‘nuts are fresh and taste homemade. The locals always seem a little disgruntled to see new people in the store. I guess Id want to guard this secret too, if I was a Leucadian!

Strong coffee needs extra sugar and cream. Donut was not overly sweet and very light pastry.

Fritter, coffee and customer service is too amazing!!!! Didn’t have enough cash and they even offered to let me Venmo them the total. Such nasty reviews must have had a bad morning!!!

Old school donut shop on the side of the road. Lots of coastal charm. Loved by locals and tourists alike. The long line was expedited quickly and the best part were the donuts. Try the sprinkled (perfect vanilla cake texture), the cherry filled, and the classic glazed. All three are excellent.

Best glazed donut and best apple fritter I have ever had. When we come in from NJ, we stop beginning of trip and take some home when we leave. People leaving 2-3 stars because they only take cash, are you serious? Also, people leaving 2-3 stars because you think there are better donuts. It takes away from their donuts being awesome.

They were out of glazed donuts, so we were disappointed. Our son got maple and he said they were really sweet. Go early if you want a selection.

I have eaten my fair share of donuts in life and no other donuts I’ve ever had compare to these. I refuse to get donuts anywhere else (including that popular place in Cardiff). To top it off Tom and his wife are some of the nicest people ever, I always look forward to my visits to this shop and always leave with a smile.

Donuts are good... but its cash-only (despite how easy it is for small businesses to get a square reader!) and has weird hours, so the place is kind of shady. Would recommend they accept credit cards and just put in a $10 minimum purchase.

Another local favorite! The owners provide fantastic customer service; they are very personable, and strive to know and remember all their customers. Do note that they close at noon, and their selection goes fairly quickly. The donuts are reasonably priced and always delicious! No complaints, this donut shop is hands-down the best!

This place always seems closed and I found out why. Theyre open M-Su 5 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Not my usual hours of operation. Today I was up early and had to stop in. I tried a coconut topped cake donut that tasted fresh and was one of the best ever! Then I tried a chocolate covered old fashioned donut. Not good. It tasted old and the chocolate was not a good quality. Even the oil had a well used flavor. So. If Im ever here again I will take a good look at the freshness before choosing. Good decaf, though.

A local favorite. A personal favorite. Brought some buddies here to try; we went back the second day, on the way to the airport, at 555AM. Plenty of choices but use the plain glazed donut for your compare to all others. Hands down the best donuts that I ever had. The owners are personable and treat you like all customers in any setting should be treated. If you are visiting for a beach stay, make this part of the experience. Then take some statins to counter the effects of the second donut that you no doubt will ingest.

Good fresh donuts and broad selection....while they last. Quick and friendly service. Limited parking can be a minor problem on weekend mornings causing a short wait. This place is a legendary donut shop for the beach area of No. SD Co. Worth the small inconvenience on really busy weekend mornings.

I have biked or driven past here a thousand times and fought off the wonderful smell of fresh donuts, but after getting gas one morning at the local 7 eleven & them not having their fresh cinnamon rolls, it was time to stop in. What a treat, fresh apple fritter and donuts, yum!

Probably the best donut shop in all of north San Diego County get there early if you want to have the world famous apple fritters make sure you dunk them in your coffee because once they hit your coffee they absolutely become heaven. First, I have to say that the apple fritters here are the best fritters Ive ever eaten. Unfortunately, they run out very every morning. They always have a bunch of other doughnuts but they dont make enough fritters. We used to drive an hour to get these doughnuts but not any more. Tired of making the drive at 7am only to be disappointed to find out they sold out. Its really too bad. They would be a solid 5 star based on taste.
