Very rude guy at the counter. They do not acknowledge you food sat there for over five minutes he would not look my way. I ended up walking out never got my food. Theres plenty of other great bagel shops in the area dont support this one!

I normally dont write reviews for fast food. However this place stands out. It has friendly service and better than average food for the price. I tried a grilled cheese sandwich and it was ABSOLUTE HEAVEN! This is a great place!

Don’t know where the negative reviews come from but I can positively and confidently say this is my go-to place for bagels and sandwiches. I come here all the time and love their sandwiches. Customer service is great and fast. No complaints!

Very rude establishment. The older male at the register most likely the owner is incredibly rude. First and foremost when you walk in he won’t acknowledge you!He got upset because I wanted to confirm my order. I was charged almost $9 for bagel with cream cheese and medium coffee.The other employees in the back are completely the opposite.

Ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese though Uber Eats and my bagel arrived with hair baked into the bagel and showing through the top. Called the restaurant and the employees said to order again and it would be “free”. Then when questioned hung up on us and the manager said to contact Uber Eats to pick it up and bring it back to the restaurant. Which Uber does not do. I would never order from this place again.

Incredibly RUDE, dishonest people. Ordered food and they told me the driver left it at my door and that I was lying and must live in a building full of thieves!!!!! Told me I wouldnt be getting my money back and to go look for the thief that stole my food. I live in a building with a doorman on site 24/7, these people are LIARS, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Worst customer experience ever. I called in an order and advised them that I would pay online. When I get to the store, the owner was incredibly rude. The staff didnt make the correct order. I wouldnt recommend this place. Looks unsanitary.

When I went to the bagel store, the sesame bagels bin was empty, I ask, if they have a sesame bagel, he looks the empty place and answered, yes they have sesame bagel, then he wait until I look in another direction to take a raising bagel. I realize that 20 min after when I was in my way to my job.Not honest people. If they are capable of doing that without need it. I dont know what else they are willing to do.

The worst place ever to buy food,i order toast bagel with butter and also get chocolate chip cookie 🍪,the bagel was so messy,butter all over the sides,the cookie was there probably a week old,hard as rock i couldn’t brake it,and the guy is telling me that this is normal cookie to be hard🤷🏻‍♂️I guess new Indian rules in Englewood….NEVER AGAIN!!!

A nice little bagel place/deli. Their things are always fresh and they make all sandwiches while you wait.The only downside is they can get very busy and if you go at the wrong time you can wait awhile. I go in for a couple of bagels and have been stuck behind someone with an all hands on deck order of 6 various types of sandwiches and bagel sandwiches, which can get annoying.I think the previous owners just sold the place according to someone I was in line with. And there are some new faces behind the counter.

Employees are great. I never noted any issues with race or language barriers there and they make great bagels. Disappointed today, they allowed quite a few people inside and two patrons without any face coverings at all. Shame on the patrons for not bothering. Even more on front of house for allowing him in and place and an order and wait inside to pick it up while he swiped through his Instagram.

Whew. My first time visiting this bagel shop and it willBe the last time I give him business. I want to support the small shops in Englewood as I just purchased a home here and know the struggles these small businesses are facing due to Covid. I was there with my 4 year old daughter, After my order was placed I tried to pay and overheard the owner taking a phone order and aggressively speaking to the person as he asked for clarification on an address. I paid and walked out, noticed that an item was missing. Went back inside to ask for it and pay and here’s where my personal issue began.His (very nice) employee asked what was wrong, I told him that I was missing a muffin for my daughter, he quickly took it out and bagged it for me. The owner, never making eye contact with me and looking only at his employee blurted out the price $2.59 (or something) I had my card out and in my hand. I waved it to him and said here you go and he then looked at me and said that there was a $5 minimum for cards. I pointed to the bag I had in my hand that contained my $5.50 bagel and told him that they didn’t include the muffin and if he could make an exception and with an aggressive attitude he said no. I told him that his response was nasty, that I didn’t feel he was nice to his customers and that given the current circumstances, a little more patience and kindness would go a long way. And he told me to have a nice day and turned around and walked away, dismissing me.A nice man offered to pay for the muffin & his employee offered to take my card. I’m writing this because I feel like every when you try to do the right thing for the community, their own ownership sometimes proves that you should go to the larger shops because of the probability of encountering professional & friendly veted staff. And the irony is, that all of his employees were nice - But he was not, at all.

I have questioned why I get charged different amounts for the same thing every time I go there AND the menu (with prices) is posted behind the register.After being charged $8+ for a bagel with CC and bacon I HAD to question it again!The owner told me “IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT BUY IT.” And then told me he added $4 more of a bacon because, “...that’s what the people want”.I want what I order... I don’t know about anyone else.

Stopped here the other morning to get some breakfast . I was surprised at how good the bagel was, it was soft and not too dense. Im used to New York bagels so this was a happy accident to find a place so close to home that makes a great bagel. I highly recommend. The service was fast.

I would consider this a mom and pop store. Food fresh off the grill. Their breakfast and lunch options have always been tasty. Priced well for the serving you get. They have a lot of options for soft drinks and juices and also desserts. They do not sell tobacco products anymore but do have lottery. Online ordering available on their website with delivery or pickup option.Edit.-my latest visit was bad, Spanish girl at the front and the chubby older guy with white hair very rude. Luckily the food was good as usual.

Decent breakfast sandwich. Bagels are ok. Take out.... Really no place to eat there. Coffee was ok. Drinks are pricey.

Fresh enough but unimpressed with the quality. Probably fine for the lunchtime deli sandwich-on a- bagel crowd but for the morning bagel breakfast at home its lacking. And itll due in a pinch.

Food is ok. But their service is terrible!!! After waiting an hour for Delivery I called to check on my order, the guy who has issues hearing on the phone, makes me wait to tell me its on its way. Another half an hour and still no sign of them. So over 1 &1/2 hours for NO FOOD. I called a 3rd time to finally cancel. BLT and a bagel should NOT take an hour and a half to deliver on the same town. This isnt the first time they have done this, but it sure is the last Ill ever order from them. We have been customers for at least 3 years. Im also inclined to tell you,the excuse offered was its busy on a Friday. Not a single care.

Love their breakfasts !!! Since I have been to this place it’s hard for me to go anywhere else. The guys who work their are really nice and their prices are reasonable and food is obviously delicious. Trust me if you try this place you will love it. 😊

I am reluctant to write this but what just transpired is simply unacceptable.1. I work from home and order breakfast from them almost everyday without incident.2. Today I place the same order and it is:a: 2 hours late (20 mins after scheduled delivery time my hungry sondoes a waze from the location to our place no traffic)b:I call and they tell me it is heavy traffic (I am a cyclist and had JUSTcomeback from a ride anticipating my yummy breakfast to be therewaiting) there was no traffic3. The person the phone tells that the food should still hot and edibledespite it now being two hours overdue. I disagreed.4. Driver arrives and I tell him to keep the food and have then re-send and hand me my beverages. He REFUSES.. I tell him that this is already paid for and that they belong to me. The he starts to leave and says if you not accepting the order no matter you already paid and I got tipped and I no give to you if you no acceptI found this not only unacceptable, enraging and frankly dull BUT it is not that which has motivated me to share this.It was his attitude. he really did not care. Not one whit!

Ordered the same bagel on three different occasions and the price increased by nearly $2 each time. Staff is either pleasant or rude depending on who you deal with. Bagel was very satisfying when it cost less than $6, but less so when the price mysteriously rose to nearly $10. Will not return.

Ordered the Nets (cornbeef joe with hard salami). The guy who helped me is either new or just never made that sandwich and worked in slow motion. I thought it was a cold sandwich but apparently isnt. Took what felt like 10 minutes before he told me they didnt have french dressing. I went next door ordered the same sandwich. Took them about a minute to make it and hand it to me.

I’m extremely disappointed in this place and will absolutely never return. Don’t go here unless you like picking out egg shells from your sandwich. Staff is unpleasant as well. Really wanted to like this place but I don’t enjoy chomping on eggshells. This is the first I’m I’ve ever reviewed anything but this was truly unacceptable.

Careful what you are charged at this dirty excuse for a bagel store. 2 eggs on a bagel price listed at 2.39. Owner rings up as 2.99 and has ignorance to say it is the tax. Believe nj tax is around 7%. Do the math. Rip off. Dont go near this place if you value your health and not being ripped off. Good riddance

This place is a joke!!! #1 Its dirty as hell. The people they have answering the phone, barley understand English. Its not very often they get the order right!Just placed an order at 7:00 called at 745 asking how long & they tell me 45 mins? No way should it take almost 2 hours to get an order. Im really unsure how they are still in business.

Horrible service. The man on the phone was disgustingly rude. Tried to explain that they had forgotten a bagel and it was paid for. They did not believe us and was not interested in helping me, and hung up on me. We are a local doctors office who loves to support local business but never again here.
