Troy has been a friend of our cousins since they were in high school. We had been talking about using reclaimed lumber in our bedroom on the ceiling and doing an accent wall. Absolutely amazing place! I was looking for a reclaimed wood mantel for the fireplace in our new home that we are building in Upstate NY. Troys selection of ready-to-buy mantels was great with a variety of faces -- chopped, sawn, and natural -- with the remaining three sides planed. We found one that we fell in love with at half the price of some others that we saw while visiting the Lancaster area -- it is headed back home with us tomorrow.NOTE: Troy only meets with customers by appointment -- it will make perfect sense as to why once you see the place. He was super flexible in scheduling an appointment with us on short notice.

We read a good review online about northeast reclaimed lumber and while we were on a trip visiting family in PA (we now live in FL) we went to check it out and were not disappointed! I only wish that we lived closer and could buy more reclaimed wood from Troy. We purchased beautiful reclaimed board & batten barn siding that my dad used to make us barn doors, bookshelves. & floating selves, and a reclaimed barn beam that was hand chopped into a mantle for a coastal farm house that we were building in FL. Troy was so helpful and the price and selection of reclaimed lumber was amazing. I wish that we could find somewhere with such great selection & prices here in FL.

We are so pleased with the table and bench we had made, they are even more beautiful than we had hoped. The reclaimed oak has such beautiful grain and character and was so easy to finish with Tung oil and Semi-solid paint from Benjamin Moore. It’s a one of a kind table that will be a family heirloom. He has a beautiful collection of reclaimed wood, mostly from historic barns (that was my understanding), we looked at some oak, pine, chestnut and hemlock. What a great company! I was driving through Pennsylvania and was inspired by the old barns to use reclaimed barn wood on a DIY project I have been thinking about.
