The young gentleman who seems to be there everytime Im there is very nice to talk to and work with. As a fairly new renter Im very happy with the limited access hours and constant presence of an employee. It makes me feel safer storing my belongings there.

They have locks and other supplies available for purchase, which is super convenient.The only thing that I think could be improved is that the interior units lighting could be brighter.I also like that the office actually has people on staff during most days. Alex was great he gave us the largest uniy he had left and offered a smaller one if we needed it. We were in and out the first time in about 30 mins.We did set up our account for automated payment and we had some difficulties with that, but Bill(?) and I worked it all out quickly the next month.So far so good. This has been a wonderful place to rent a storage unit. The units I have rented here were very clean on move in and there were a large variety of sizes to choose from. Also loved the convenience of being able to pay for my unit online through the website. If I had a question concerning email manager was easy and responses were very timely. Would definitely rent a unit from them again should the need ever arise.

The people that work here are nice and the property is safe and Ive been there for about 5 years and they only raise my rent twice which I think is a little too much.

Incredibly friendly and clean and lighted storage space. Space I rented even had a plug so I was able to maintain the battery on my car. Oh, and pet friendly as well. Visited with my dog and they made her feel right at home.

We rented locker for 2 years there with no problems. We had a 10 x 20 and was nice to have the higher ceiling for storage. Outlet and light was nice too.Staff was friendly and helpful.We moved so didn’t need locker any more.

Manager was very nice and accommodating. I got there at 8:45 in the morning and I needed to go to the office but they didn’t open until 9. The manager was just getting there also and he opened up the office and helped me anyway! He helped me transfer my account from a big storage unit to a smaller unit right next door! My boyfriend and I just recently rented an 8x10 unit and so far Im very pleased. The initial setup with manager Tom and another lady, I cant recall her name, made me glad I chose this facility. They were both so nice and personable. I felt like they genuinely cared about us as customers, which seems to be a rarity these days. I like the in-between size of the unit too because it gives me more than a 5x5, for less than the cost of a 10x10. It fits our needs! 5 stars it is!

Moved here from Arizona two years ago and had to place many of our household items into storage until we eventually found a home. Tom and other members of this facility were always more then helpful, professional and courteous.We had to also rent a second unit for our Harley Davidson. Although we had no garage at the time it was always convenient to leave my truck and get on my Harley and ride. It is a safe secured facility, very clean and pricing was very good.To Tom and the gang, thanks for all of your help over the past two years. Professional facilities with a mom and pop hospitality. I chose Istorage Akron because of the availability of multiple storage spaces for my 29.5 foot pull behind camper. There rates were slightly better than other places within an hour of where I live with similar units. But what really put them over the top, and the reason I will continue to use them in the future for storing my camper is their service. I was treated like I was the most important part of their day from before I even began doing business with them. On the phone before I arrived, their office people were very very helpful, clear, and respectful, and when I arrived, they gave me a tour of the place and offered some different choices of units and gave me the best one available. I cant stress how friendly their office staff was and how easy it was to do business with them.

The i storage in Akron is very clean. Tom Mc Gowan was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The facility was easy to move around in with my boat and truck. The facility was close to the main highway and good access. Used the facility for over a year and always had great service. Would recommend this site.

Awful-.No AccountabilityWe rented a unit and were told that we HAD to rent by the same day we called, which was Saturday, or wed lose the discount. So we ran down there to rent it. It has a gate which is active and closed during the facilities non office hours. There was some question as to whether the key code we were given would work or not. The person compiling the application wasnt sure which computer to use, if the computer would work, or even if the printer would work. We paid for the unit and were told by the manager he wouldnt answer his phone on the weekend. This comment proved very prophetic. On Friday we returned with a friend, who drove her truck 40 miles to help us get our items to storage. We tried our key code and it didnt work. Luckily the man who lives on the facility let us in. We called the local police and they told us they dont even have a code in their files to let us in. So if theres ever a fire there, and the man who lives at the property isnt there, all your items will burn to the ground. We attempted to call the manager and he never returned our 7 phone calls that night, nor did he the next day either. We returned the next day to complain, and he told us, Oh well, that happens. Youre not the first its happened to THIS WEEK. Not sure when it will be fixed. What else can I do for you? Ummm, quit?

This is the only storage facility in Lancaster county that I would ever recommend. Years ago my family had a unit here and very happy. I believe ownership changed over the years but the manager stayed the same and is a really great man. This time I only had the unit for a few months but I had spent several weeks looking for a facility that would be closer and more convenient for me but they were all too corperate hard to get a hold of and not personable. I was fed up and decided to go a little out of my way back to istorage. The first time I called i got a great lady on the phone who was able to give me an awesome deal, I drove right over, filled out paperwork and moved in. I HIGHLY recommend. Prices are very reasonable as well!
