So nice to shop Kmart. Much better quaility items than Walmart at lower prices. The Jacqueline Smith collection of clothing is very nice and very reasonable. Wish there was more of these stores aroundLooks as they need more help. Things was disorganized but it should be after black friday weekend. Many low prices still in this store.

I go into the store today, and they have an entire rack of Dickies shirts listed as on clearance at $2.99. As I peruse the store before checking out, the stock is completely disheveled with items strewn everywhere. An older man passes by me complaining to his wife how bad the store is and frustrated he cannot find a single person to help him. There is no one in the changing room area, and no one at the layaway counter. The woman who is waiting there actually pulled out her cell phone to call the store to send someone back. When the announcement comes over the intercom, it simply says someone to layaway, and is muffled to the point it can be barely understood. As I am looking over stuff for the next five minutes, I noticed that the woman is still there and no one has come to assist her.I go up to the front counter, and because I notice the tag on the Dickies shirt is higher than the sign over the clearance rack, it is the first thing I hand over as I explain that it was on clearance. The clerk scans it and tells me the system has it at a higher price. I explain again that it was on a clearance rack, and I even took a picture just in case this was an issue. She repeats that it is ringing up at at higher price. That she doesnt know who put it on the rack, but the system says it is higher.Keep in mind, it wasnt a single shirt on a rack full of other different shirts. Almost the entire rack was this shirt. So it wasnt an instance where someone just picked it up one place, and put it down on an unrelated rack.I pull out my phone to show her this is the case, but as I am doing so she leaves without a word. She comes back a few minutes later, and rings me up at the $2.99 price.I dont blame her, as she is obviously overworked. The entire time I was in the store I only saw six employees, and I am starting to doubt one was an employee, I think he was just an older man standing around the front door. The lady behind me stated that when she used to work at the store and lines were as long as they were at the registers, they would pull staff from the floor. I advised her there were no staff on the floor to pull. She looked around and agreed.The entire place was a mess. It appears that the store has been losing money, so they have cut staff to the bone. Since they dont have the staff, they cant keep up the store, price things correctly, or assist customers beyond ringing up their purchases. Because of this people dont want to shop there any more. And because they wont shop there anymore, the store will lay off more people.This is a problem in management and leadership at the store. As a result the store appears in a death spiral that it is doubtful it will overcome. It will slowly get worse until the store is finally closed.I want to shop there if for no other reason than to support a competitor of Wal-Mart, but I doubt I will be returning to the store.If you look at the attached picture you will see on the right is the shirt I purchased, along with the rest of the rack of shirts just like it.

Very courteous staff always have plenty of sales. Always have plenty of lanes open so you dont have to stand there and wait for 2 hours. workers are always very helpful when you cant find something. They are very friendly and always talk to you a great group of people.

Its kind of fun to take friends there because many people think that Kmart closed for good years ago. Not the case with this one. It still has a decent amount of customers, but as typical - you cant find anyone to help you and theres a long line for the ONE open register because you have so many steps with Shop Your Way rewards because of the CEO thinks customers are members. Itll be sad to see it go, but its necessary.

(New) stopped by tonight to say goodbye old friend. Well miss you. (old) My wife and I take a drive across the Ohio River, and drop in every whip-stitch and browse around. Weve found many, many good deals over the past few years and well continue dropping in. We miss our Big K in our area.

Happy with Mattress. However, shame on you Mr Eddie Lambert for not providing your employees and stores the tools they need to succeed. Second time I have picked up sears order from this store and both times just ridiculous experiences. Employees and Customers as human beings deserve better and so do the Great American Brands your making a mockery of. I can no longer in good conscious entrust you with another consumer dollar from my household. If you have an ounce of decency in you, shut down all together or immediately correct the situation.

Staff is rude including managers. Need customer service training!! We went to the store to get screw needed items for vacation and I got a email that said 50% off all swimwear for family so we got what we needed and the total didnt sound right so when we got outside I looked to see what was priced wrong it was the swim wear we got for myself and my husband so I went back in to see if I could have it adjusted and the manager more or less told me I was an idiot and needed to learn to read store signs because the swim wear we chose was not in the same and that the email I got was wrong.

I used to work at this Kmart and Im glad Im out of there, Ill review this place as I saw it as a worker. Customer service is great here its the customers that are often rude and feel entitled to everything. A lot of the customers I met got mad just because we didnt have a certain item in stock, I remember I got coursed out because we didnt have propane. Almost all of my former co-workers were great except for just one person his name was Chris, I remember one day when my former manager Alicia hade do carts he just sat outside with Alicia watching YouTube while I did carts all by my self and he wasnt taking a break at all he was just slacking off with that manager because she always lets him do anything. that brings me to my managers, they were all nice, Billy, Shana, sherry, Patty, Kelly they were the best managers Ive had. Now Darius the store manager and Alicia one of the supervisors where the worst people Ive worked with, I remember Darius almost made me work on Christmas Eve even though I wasnt supposed to work that day, he also pulled me out of my lunch once because apparently I wasnt supposed to take a lunch and a break even though law states that I could because I was working 8 hours. Darius would also yell at most of his employees for pretty much doing what they were supposed to. Now the thing with Alicia was that she would favorite Chris one of my co workers on everything, I remember one day I was in a register and instead of having Chris do carts she called me up to do them even though I was busy, in the mean time her and Chris where watching a movie in the lunchroom. overall this store had good prices but dont go to the food since there are mouse traps behind most of the food. Overall the staff is great with just 3 exceptions. Prices are good but how they pay their workers is bad pretty much 7.25 per hour with no raise :).

3 pm on a Friday and there is ONE register open. Customer Service and this ONE register are at least both 6 customers deep. And there has not been a call for any help...Management needs to get their act together.

Do not even think they deserve a one star rating...purchased a Kenmore vacuum cleaner and the Kenmore one year warranty that is to be honored at any Kmart.... well when I spoke with customer service employee first thing in the morning and told her that the on/off switch quit she informed me there was nothing she could do...mind you she didnt even look at it or even ask for any of my information...told me Kenmore would GA e to replace it... called Kenmore they looked up all my information and informed me that Kmart is responsible for replacement and they can look up my receipt and rewards card and warranty. So I call back again to Kmart and speak to the manager Billie who informs that she can not do anything and wont do anything. So needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from Kmart or their affiliates ever again... especially the Kmart on Dixie hwy in Kentucky...

We found this kmart unexpectedly one day while shopping as a family. I was so excited to see it! All the kmarts I have loved are gone and I miss them so! Lol We bought a bunch of kids clothes for less than $2, some were chiffon party dresses!! We also did some toy shopping for my sons birthday, a giant hotwheels set that sells for over $200 everywhere else was under $100!! We bought a bunch of stuff and paid well under half price! Admittedly, kmart is not what it once was. The store wasnt full, the isles were oddly organized and it wasnt as impressive looking as it used to be. The staff was super friendly, and there werent a bunch of them but understanding how retail staffing works, I wasnt expecting much. They probably dont sell the volume to pay for more people. We were even given a reusable shopping bag and a bag of popcorn just for walking in the door! They are really making the most of what they have. Im certain this store wont be around for much longer, we all know how the chain is failing but I hope to shop here again before it goes!

Really enjoy that Kmart had a layaway dept for all items in the store unlike Wal-Mart its only certain items. Ive used their layaway for 15yrs and only had 1 problem. Hope this store stays open.

This place is a joke, its no mystery why they are on their last leg. The store is 30% stocked the associates are lazy, and under trained. If you ask for additional help the act as if its above their pay grade. They should do the community a favor and get out the way so another company can make a real presence. If they didnt offer cupons and deal I would drive right by.

Website offered coupon for free items if you spent a certain amount and when I asked the sales clerk she said she had no idea what I was talking about I showed her the coupon and her reply was well we must be out so I asked for a rain check she said they dont do that. My question is this if she didnt know what it was how did she know they were out and dont offer rainchecks.

One trip to this store and it is no shock why Kmarts are an endangered species. The main reason come hear is 1) it is the only big-box in walking distance, or 2) seasonal Kmart exclusive items.

Its a Kmart store, however a Kmart store is better than none at all & they do have a nice selection of cheap seasonal clothes, wear a season and throw away, which is nice!

Bought a stereo from here and it broke after a month and they wouldn’t let me exchange it and the receipt said 45 days for members and she still wouldn’t let me. Needless to say I won’t shop here ever again! NO WONDER MOST OF THEM ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! I’ll be calling corporate and everyone else because this is wrong and bad business! DONT BUY ANYTHING YOU EXPCECT TO RETURN BC THEY WONT ALLOW IT!

Worst store ever!!! How does it stay in business?? An item was 17.00 cheaper on kmart online and they wouldnt price adjust. I had to order the item online and wait 2 hours for the item to be picked even though the item was sitting right in front of me. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Made a quick stop to check on sneakers but they didnt have my size. I can order them from their website.

Very disappointed with the customer service and professionalism, even by a manger. I went in on a Sunday around 1 pm. I walked around for an hour to find things that I had wanted to put in layaway. Go back to the layaway department and it is completely dark, deserted and theres a sign saying the help buzzer doesnt work. No employees to be found. So I go to the customer service desk and stand in line for 15 minutes. Mind u theres only ONE other register open and people everywhere, since supposedly only 2 ppl showed up for work. The manager walks by so I ask her if I can put a layaway in here. She rudely tells me No the layaway is in the back but its going to be a while because the girl is busy up here. Ok fine. So I go to ask her if she can let someone know Im back there, because as I stated, buzzer doesnt work, and she totally ignores me, turns and starts talking to someone else. Now pissed I go back to the same dark deserted layaway department, walk behind the counter and set my stuff by a register in hopes itll still be there when I return a little later. The ONLY reason I went to this dirty over priced store in the first place is bc thats the only place that carried what I needed. I havent been there in years and now I see why.

On 12/24/15 Christmas eve, I went to Erlangers Kmart in Ky. I already had purchased my stuff online so I went to pick them up. Jewelry line was long but I stayed and waited for an hour. Was told it wasnt ready, to come back in another hr. Drove back to the store and was told my order was OUT OF STOCK!! Are you joking me? I dont care if its busy or not, you dont tell a customer their order will be ready with a bold face LIE. I was dissapointed with their lack of customer services and professionalism. Not even attempt to check after I told them I was instruct to come back!!! So I went in and bought the item twice just so I can have it for Christmas Day. Couple days later I receive an email informing me that my other order got shipped out and on its way!! Way to go KMART on employing Lazy people to handle your store on the hectic time of the year. I hated my experience and hope no one goes through it. Please retrain your customer service desk employees and managers to do better in their job!!!! I completely understand we all get short staff and hectic but my issue could had been handle differently then it did. Smmfh. Rate: zerO star
