Really went above and beyond helping me find the part that I needed and offered a price better than I could find online. They have a lot of parts already in stock, but didnt have what I needed, but were able to get the part shipped in super quick! If I ever have another appliance issue, theyre definitely the fist business Im calling! Very pleased! Thank you!!

What an absolute pleasure to receive such great service from this local business!! The adjusters on the upper rack of our Kitchenaid DW broke recently so I called around to see who could do the repair. Two places couldnt do the work but both suggested Glenwood Appliance could, so I called. I was instructed to text the model number and some photos of what I thought had broken, so I did. I received a call back within a couple hours that they had the needed repair parts and I could bring the rack by TODAY for an on-the-spot repair!!! What? Who provides that kind of service these days? Well, Glenwood Appliance does! I took the rack in and it was repaired within 10 minutes for a great price. And the two replacement parts were priced less than I could find online. Again - wow!! 5 stars for all of this and service with a smile. GREAT JOB Glenwood Appliance!!!

Just called in to check if a part I need is in stock. They didn’t have it, though they can get it by tomorrow morning. Easy, convenient, and expedient ordering with excellent customer service. I could have gotten the part off Amazon and had it in a few days, but I’d much rather support local businesses.

It’s refreshing to see a local company that still has great service! I went over to buy a part to fix my refrigerator. The service technician tested the part and lubricated the bearing and told me it would be fine. I was really happy they didnt just sell me the new part. They where friendly and professional!! The technician even gave me a can of lubricant that has some left in the bottom to use at home! Highly recommend Glenwood Appliance!!

Super helpful staff. Highly recommended. Great customer service.Brought in my washing machine timer control. The nice young man behind the counter informed me right away they didnt have it, but could order it. Got me the price, and also told me it might not be that part after I told him the situation going on with my machine. Their tech wasnt in so he took down my information, and told me if I brought in the lid switch they could check it at no cost.I ran home and got the lid switch, they tested it. Found that it was acting up. Informed me that part is no longer available, and told me how I could bypass it. Works great now!!!No charge for anything, that cant be expected every time, but this was amazing. I was thinking it would cost $160 for the part(that ended up not being the issue) before I went in. Left with more knowledge and the trick to fix the machine for $0.

I went there with a refrigerator motor I had salvaged and I could not find any info online about wiring the 9 terminals on it, even though it was a USA General Electric motor, David was super helpful and came up with notes he had from years back working on the same model motor. He gave me notes and pictures on wiring it correctly, and the right start capacitor. Excellent organization, very fair price, timely service, excellent receptionists. 5 star service out of 5.

They’ve offered other suggestions on what they think the problem is and how to fix it. I rarely call a repairman anymore. My dryer wouldn’t start. My husband wanted to just get a new one. I YouTubed it. Easy fix and a $13 part. They had it in stock. Thanks Glenwood Appliance

Would definitely recommend this local business over filling the pockets of Jeff Bezos from Amazon! Buy local! These guys were amazing! Theyve got my business for life! I had a washer that was having some issues, so I called Glenwood with the intention of buying a replacement control board, a rather expensive part. They insisted that I talk to a technician before making the purchase, which ended up saving me close to $200.Even though I was only buying a part from them, they still took the time to listen to the issue and make an expert recommendation. I ended up buying a replacement door lock, which fixed the issue, and was much cheaper than a control board!Thank you Glenwood Appliance!

A few months back I was working on a DIY repair and was trying to find the right part to fix my dryer. I came into the store a couple times to purchase parts and the woman at the counter was nice enough to test the parts I brought in (the thermal fuse and thermister) she was able to tell me that those parts were not broken. She was not particularly knowledgeable about diagnosing the repair though and turned to the gentlemen in the shop, who had a complete attitude about my DIY repair which got worse each time I returned to the store. He was not sympathetic to my situation and seemed pretty intent on scheduling a diagnostic and repair by them at an hourly rate (expensive) rather than being helpful to me and my attempts. When I exhausted my personal abilities to diagnose the situation I eagerly opted NOT to work with this business. I scheduled a diagnostic with another business. The problem was the control board needed replacing, which I was able to order online and replace myself. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this business for anyone who is working on a DIY repair. They may have the inventory, but they do not have the customer service.

These guys rock. After calling several appliance repair businesses trying to find a part for my dryer, I finally got referred to Glenwood appliance. Come to find out that most of the repair shops in this town have to call these guys too. Apparently, finding appliance parts is an art of its own, and such a hassle that they all just prefer to call Glenwood Appliance and let them find parts. The advice and parts info I got from other repair shops was either ignorant or dishonest. I dont need to buy another dryer,... I just need to call Glenwood Appliance and get the right parts and advice. Thank you Glenwood Appliance!!! Saved me hundreds of dollars!!

I had my dryer go out a few weeks ago and called these guys to find out if they had the part. They instructed me on which parts to disassemble on my dryer and bring in for them to test. As it would work out it took me a couple of weeks to get time to visit them, but no worries, they had all my information from the phone call two weeks before filed under my name and still had the part in stock. They tested my components, identified the problem and had me out the door in no time flat. Price-wise they were a few dollars more than ordering it online, but well worth it for the amount of service they provided. I would definitely go back to see them for future appliance needs. They are a little hard to spot from the road, so just make sure to keep your eyes peeled when you go looking for them.

Terrible customer service. Called about a part for a washer and the guy asked for the part number. I said it was this make and model and once again he said well I need the part #. Really cant you assist me and look it up? Your job is customer service at an appliance parts shop and you dont know how to look up the part #? So I looked it up and he said it would be next week when it was in. No problem until he said $87.00 for the cost. I looked on Ebay and bought a new part for $25.00 and $4.00 for shipping... Look on ebay and shop around because this place sucks...

Although we too have had good luck with Glenwood Appliance in the past, I can no longer recommend that anyone do business with them. The short story is they sold us a broken part that was possibly a used part they were selling as new, and then refused to replace or refund it saying that it was now obviously used and couldnt be returned to Fisher-Paykel.Longer story: When our washing machine broke we called all over for someone to fix it and called Fisher-Paykel who diagnosed the issue and told us what part was needed on the phone. Since the repair person from Oldfields couldnt come out until Friday and would only then order a part we checked with Glenwood Appliance. They said they had it and sold it to us. Although my husband looked at it in the store with the owner to make sure it was the same thing he had seen in the drawing online he did not know what to look for as a professional. I would assume the owner would know how to check that the part was complete and correct. When the repair man arrived and examined the part he noticed a crack in the circuit board and said it might not work - he showed this to my husband and asked if we wanted to try. After a week of hot summer without a washer, you bet we did. It is a smooth installation and in no way should hurt the part. It didnt work. While he was still here we called Glenwood Appliance and told them about it and asked if they had another one to replace it. No, they said. We asked how long to order one, wanting to keep our business there since we had already paid for it. Thats when things got weird. Not only would they not order a replacement until they examined the part in person to see if we were telling the truth, they also said that a refund would be contingent on the examination and whether they could ship it back to Fisher-Paykel. Thats wierd said the repairman, since F-P has a 90 day warranty on parts. Oldfields couldnt get one in for a week to 10 days. So my husband ordered one on line and paid for expedited shipping - this part was now ending up very spendy. After receiving the new part we realized that since it is a sensor of COURSE it should have been in an anti-static pouch like the new one arrived. Then we wondered why the broken one from Glenwood wasnt in one. And the box had obviously been re-taped. Did they sell us a used part as new? Is that why they couldnt return it to F-P?After a few days of examining the broken part they called and told my husband no refund because we had used it. For crying out loud. And then they told him to his face that they had never taken the reciept back with the part - which they did! Actually the girl that works there sheepishly called to admit that they had found the original receipt and they would mail it. They also lectured him a couple times on the needs of small business. Well as I see it the number one need of small businesses are customers and this is NOT the way to treat them. They implied we were lying, dishonest and pulling some sort of scam - what we would get out of going through all this pain and trouble to scam them I dont know. I do know we will never do business there or recommend them again.
