Great service, efficient communication, and seamless install of quality doors. We have had great service for bay doors, garage doors, and gate opening systems. Overhead door has done everything possible to deliver on time for us. They have been quick to resolve maintenance issues and even offered to program all of our remotes.

The young man certainly did not enjoy my questions and request not to use an extension cord. . He also complained about where the button was going to go so i gave in and chose s different place for his convenience. All got resolved amiably. The garage door opener is quiet and works great

I am a property owner in Lane County, I live in Portland. I was very clear with Alan that I wanted new doors installed with door openers as we have been remodeling the entire property and updating. I scheduled my install and asked to be on a cancellation list because we had scheduled the exterior painting. We actually got a call that they could fit us in sooner which was nice but they installed doors with no openers and they only open from the inside. My tenant (rightfully) complained and I called them and asked why they had not been installed with openers. Alan told me that he does a lot of jobs so he couldnt rightly tell me but that he would love to install the openers for an additional $800.All I can say is that, they did show up and there are new garage doors. There is no way to open them except from inside and its a basic slide lock. I dont do business with companies that dont believe in attention to detail. I will have the door openers installed but I will be using a different company. I do not recommend.

We went from a 1940s super heavy, dangerous door to this beautiful modern, clean and safe electric door. Overhead Door Company was amazing to work with! They were incredibly friendly, super professional and got the job done to my perfectionist standards very quickly and at a very reasonable price! I used Overhead Door during the construction of my house. There has been several mistake on their end from the beginning. First they guy measured the opening wrong and ordered the wrong size door. They said I would have to wait a month for a new door. My house had been broken into 2 times at that point, so I was very anxious to get my house secure. I also had the problem of having my drywall installed at that point so I had to keep my house at 60-70 degrees for the mud to dry properly. This is very hard and expensive to do when you have a giant whole in your house. I begged them to please expedite the delivery of the door because of these issues and I was told they couldnt. I am pretty confident that they could have, but it would have cost them more to ship. It was a lot cheaper for them to wait and order when their next order/shipment was done.I waited until I was done painting the garage to have the motor for the door installed. When they came out to install the technician had brought the wrong motor. Instead of speaking with me as I was working outside, he told my wife that we would have to schedule for a different day. I called after he took off and asked the person taking my call why couldnt he go back to the warehouse and get the right motor and come back? I was told that the technician said that he couldnt get into the driveway, because it was blocked. The entire time I was in the front yard working and the worker never asked if we could move, which was very easy to do. I was also told that the next available time to come back was in over 2 weeks.In their commercials they say that customer service is very important to them. Let me reassure you this could not be further from the truth. Customer service is only important to them if it is convenient and not to expensive for them. I will never recommend them to anyone. What a shame!

Had issues with hinges/brackets that were popping out on 18’ wide garage door after 14 years/& main spring went out last year. Called yesterday for service appointment and was scheduled for today - tech arrived early and was done moving brackets and adding some lubrications to spring as maintenance in 15 minutes pretty much good as new!Service was top quality unfortunately I think the quality of door hinges and spring may be what we all have to live with now in everything we buy. They just don’t make things like they use to!Definitely recommend Overhead door!!

A tension spring broke after hours on a Wednesday, trapping the car in the garage. We called and left a detailed message that evening. The Overhead door company called us mid-morning the next day, didn’t leave a message. I called back and they asked me to ‘ha g on I need to transfer you’ which took so long I gave up. I called again and they took my number. My son called back they said they ‘might’ be able to do it Tuesday of next week. Meanwhile the car is trapped in the garage.On Monday afternoon I’d had enough. I called American Overhead door, and they came the next morning. No muss no fuss, quick, efficient, had all the parts the door needed. Hooray!

My residential garage door opener, 13 years old, stopped functioning completely on a Friday night. Nothing could be done over the weekend, but by the following Wednesday, I had a new, reasonably priced, garage door opener installed and operating. Customer service was excellent. The technician took sufficient time to fully explain the cost of repairs to the old opener vs. purchasing a new one. I am totally happy with my decision to replace the old opener. The cost of a new opener was reasonable and that, along with a 10-year warranty, convinced me that it would be the way to go. The technicians arrived within the time frame that we had agreed upon and a new unit was installed within an hour-and-a-half. Ive used Overhead Door at previous residences and have always been satisfied with their products and services. Definitely recommend them.

Install was scheduled quickly. Installers were efficient and cleaned up. Opener works great but the app is a little wonky (though seems to be working ok after some set up issues). The apps not the local folks fault though - they were great.

Overhead Door installed an Odyssey 1000 opener in my house today. They also replaced the wheels for an adjacent, old installation. I am extremely satisfied with the products, the installation, and the professionalism of the two installers. They answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I also feel that the price was very reasonable.

I am very impressed! I had a scheduled appointment today between 1-3 pm. To my surprise, they actually showed up just a couple minutes past 1:00. The two men, Brian and Paul, were very professional and went straight to work fixing my broken garage door. Again, a surprise to me, there was no up selling. No, “we’ll have to replace your whole door or garage opener.” They just fixed what what broken. I’m used to repair people telling me I have to replace the hole thing then finding out that it could be fixed for not that much money. Wonderful Service-We have had a very good experience with Overhead Door of Eugene. The spring on our garage door broke, causing our only vehicle to be locked in our garage. Even though it was impossible to get someone to fix our door the same day that the spring broke, a technician was sent the next morning to help manually raise the door so we could get our vehicle out of the garage.The actual repair was scheduled for a few days later. We were given a 2-hour block of time in which to expect the technician to arrive. We were pleased when the technician arrived 10-minutes early for the appointment and the overall repair took about a half-hour, the total cost was very reasonable.Thank you Overhead Door for coming to our rescue.

Overhead door of Eugene....I had them do my new house... total screw-up.. I asked for the tracks to go up the vaulted ceiling in the garage.. salesman wrote something down in his notes..me and my girl friend saw him do it. assumed he was making notes as we spoke.. guess NOT.. now after all said and done they screwed it up and installed the 2 doors the wrong way.. now they say they have no notes at all on the vaulted ceiling.. lying to us and the builder... will NEVER use these people again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.. the salesman lied PERIOD to save his ass from a simple mess up.. I would think overhead door would fix this problem, but NOPE I need 3 huge doors for my automotive shop... does anyone think overhead door will get the work NOPE...not now, and my builder has used then hundreds of time.. he told me yesterday he is thinking of not using them anymore as well..

The other night we drove home expecting the garage door to open. Apparently that was the 10,001 time as it broke! I tried to help it open but there was no way to lift it open. So I called these folks. After all, they installed it a few years ago.I made the call. They were busy and put me on the schedule for the following week. But then another call came in saying they could send someone out the next day! Sure enough, he was there and waiting for me. It took him a New York minute to figure out my problem. It was a broken spring. He told me there was no way I could have lifted that 500 Lb. door! Within the hour, he replaced both springs and lubed the rollers. It is like having a new garage door! We are very pleased with this company.

Created an online request to quote a 9x12 door, got no response. Called in the next day and the receptionist sent me to the sales guys voicemail so I left a message. Still no response. Was trying to buy a $5k glass panel door from them for a barn Im building but I guess they dont need the work. Moving on.
