An amazing market with a great wine, deli and prepared foods section but thats not all... They have a florist, gourmet groceries, housewares and a full service counter where you can get all kinds of hot and cold dishes to go. And the cheese and charcuterie selection is well curated and makes me feel as if I am in Europe. All in all highly recommend if just to browse and grab some pastries.

We were very happy being here. Started with breakfast sandwiches. Came back for charcuterie board. We are not pros with the wide selections of meats and cheeses. I think her name was Sandy, started with an S, helped us pick things out. She was knowledgeable and patient. Her recommendations were great. Everyone at the party loved them. We got four types of meat, I was worried about price... we could have, and should have, doubled the amount. Wanted to shop more but had time crunch. We will be back. I need to add, each staff that we interacted with was friendly and happy to help. Im not local so not sure if thats typical or normal. Its not normal where Im from.

Booked a room for my niece for her Birthday. And the service and treatment that we have received has been phenomenal. We have never been to the Gordon Hotel and we will be booking many of our small events here. I had so many questions and issues booking (my own fault) and they treated me so well and walked us through the process of everything and the attitude from the front desk was professional and very sweet. They took care of everything and for me that’s perfect.Thank you

This is a great place to poke around if you need something did related for a gift, or just something interesting to play with for yourself. Today, I saw smoked honey from a local Portland company. I may have to try that out. The breads in the coffee shop are quite nice. A quite place to relax on a hot afternoon.

Downstairs eating area is the WORST managed eating place in Eugene. 5 people in line and only 1 cashier on a busy Sun afternoon. When the people checking out took about 10 minutes nobody was summoned for backup. This is not uncommon for this place. Has happened numerous times and I only go there twice per year because I like the pizza but hate the service

Went on Saturday for a lunch date. Sat out in the patio and waited in the cold about 20 minutes for lukewarm grilled cheese and marginal slice of pizza. Salad was oily and lacked flavor. They gave me a knife to eat a salad so I used my wives knife and ate the salad with two knives like chopsticks. $25 lunch was well worth about $10. Maybe it was just a bad day. Still not the greatest experience.

The pizza is the best thin-crust in town. The creative combinations they have all taste great. The Pearl is our family’s go-to along with the Margherita. Fresh ingredients and the perfect amount of sauce. The only ‘negative’ is that the slices are huge- larger than a dinner plate. So, one slice is equivalent to ~2-3 regular slices of pizza.

Okay first of all, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE IN EUGENE YOU CAN GET A GOOD PIZZA AT A REASONABLE PRICE. Veggie folks: highly recommend the Fennellove. The market has a lot of super high quality gourmet goods and homeware stuff, but its pretty pricy. A nice place to get a special gift for or share a pizza with your culinary friends family and lovers.

I wanted to take home about 80 percent of the food here and maybe 20 percent of everything else. Sadly, our car was packed to the gills with survival gear for a Death Valley trip and all I could get were a couple things. They are stocked with obscure cooking oils, pastes, jams, random condiments of all sorts, really. Then there are the cheeses and wines and tasty tidbits a deli will offer. Kitchen things. Cooking things. Souvenirs.Helpful employees, just maybe not enough of them around.Easy parking around the market area, nice spot to buy munchables and sit at a table or bench nearby. Afterward, peruse other shops and daydream.

I love provisions, in general; I enjoy browsing, and they make brilliant Porridge Bread. I bought some desserts for a tiny celebration last week, though, and we were VERY disappointed. The carrot cake was iced in a sort of buttercream or some such thing, flavorless and obviously NOT made with cream cheese, and because the frosting layers were a bit thicker than the cake layers (which might have worked with a tasty frosting) the result was bland and gooey. None or the 4 of us wanted a second taste. The apple tart was mediocre. The pumpkin cheesecake -- Hello? Why did they call this cheesecake? It is a bland, thick mousse-like thing with mild pumpkin flavor and thats all; no spice, no tartness, no cheesecake-ess. The chocolate cream pie was superb. I success and THREE total failures!! Shame on you guys.

The best thing here is the salad bar. Thats from someone who is not a big salad eater and despite the rest of their menu also being great! The pizza is among the best in town, and they have great French style pastries and treats. It is also a great place to bring our kids for the variety on the menu, the excellent ice cream and the fun courtyard and rooster fountain!

She even wrapped it for me when she found out it was a gift. Thank you Lea for all your help!

We had lunch here last week. Lots of choices. Our sandwiches were very tasty and I took a slice of pizza home to have for a light dinner with salad. It was excellent too.Friendly service. A bit disorganized though. There are two cash registers in different spots. One seems to be for ordering coffee and bakery items and the other maybe it’s for lunch service but it wasn’t open? There was an employee at this cash register organizing the cash drawer but ignoring the steadily increasing line of customers queuing up to make their lunch orders, while looking like she was getting ready to take orders but that turned out to not be the case. Which a long line of hungry customers waiting to order you would think she would redirect the line up over to the active register but she ignored everyone only glancing at the people occasionally. Odd. And no signage to indicate the register station was closed. The friendly manager didn’t seem to have a handle or awareness of this either. But when we asked for help he was willing and nice.

I understand that the individual plates take a while to cook because each one doesnt necessarily have all of ingredients prepared and each take time to cook in their massive fire heated ovens. But when youve waited for twenty minutes for a breakfast pizza and your waiter comes out in a rush and the whole things goes sliding right off the plate and all over the table its quite a big disappointment. Getting a free pastry of my choice as I wait for them to remake my order is a good way to say sorry and make up for it however. Tasty food, moderate prices, lovely atmosphere.

Providore in Portland has spoiled me. Provisions was better, more polished when we were there a year ago. Sadly, about 1/4 of the wine bar menu was not available (the crudo no longer exists, the menu is being changed); my key lime pie was served with bakery paper intact, coffee for in-house consumption was in a take-out cup... I love the atmosphere, but yesterday it was a let down.

REALLY upset with the service here lately. The first few times my friends/family and I went here were great. But recently Ive been appalled with how rude the waitresses and cashiers are. My boyfriend and I went last week only to be sneered at, questioned about what we actually ordered (four times), and served cold sandwiches. I dont like writing reviews like this, but I really am upset with how downhill the service has gone. Definitely would recommend somewhere else.

While I love the fresh bread, produce, cheese, meat and high-end vinegar, the unfriendly help is so consistent that it is a culture of very unhappy, unfriendly people here. Not a place that inspires me to come often and spend money, to be sure.I come here a few times a week, spend a lot of money. I am always friendly and quick with what I need. I usually arrive when its quiet, no lines of people needing attention...but still, 99 times out of 100 I am treated as though Im an unwelcome intrusion to someones day.The last time I was there a couple of days ago, I had a question about some salami I had in my hand. The two guys behind the case turned and disappeared as they saw me approach. No problem, they had more pressing things to see to. So I stood there waiting. A gal was towards the back filling an ice bin, so I waited patiently for her to notice me. She eventually did, then left. No problem, ice melts, this is the priority and I wasnt in any kind of rush. She eventually returned with an empty bin and began rinsing it out at the sink. No problem, she had a task and wanted to see it to completion, I can respect that. I continued to stand there, waiting patiently with a smile. When she finished rinsing the bin she looked right at me, for a pause, then began to whistle a slow tune. She held her gaze at me as she sauntered slowly away -- while whistling. Wow.While this brand of blatant rudeness -- for absolutely no cause what-so-ever -- is the exception, not the rule. However, being treated in such an unfriendly way or being looked at like Im dumb (which happens a lot), is the general rule here - in my experience of course. This has been my experience at the pizza counter, at the meat counter, at the wine counter, at the cheese counter and at the coffee counter. Consistently. I have come to count on it.To be fair, though, there was also a truly delightful exception to the rule a couple of months ago. There was a friendly gentleman who went out of his way to be helpful and informative and provided the most useful information about sparking wine and bitters. He was a true treasure, but alas, the exception. To sum up, I have grown tired of places that think that they are so special that that they can be rude or just downright unfriendly with intention, and it will be tolerated becase they are just THAT great. No thank you. Life is short and there are other places to buy what you sell. So as you wish and as your management must support or possibly cause, you will have one less customer to help going forward.
