Over all no real issues. If I had to say anything the lot is tight and I could definitely see people getting confused on how to get in and out of there. They also tried to say the truck we had had less miles on it then it did when we picked it up, so check your mileage before you leave and take a picture so you arent charged extra. Other then that it made moving quickly easy and hassle free.

Summary: Do not go there in a hurry and make sure and ask for instructions while they are renting the equipment to you.These guys are hard workers and give good service once you get their attention? Tunnel vision mean youll get great uninterrupted service, however it also means you could be standing for 15mins till you are acknowledged. Car dolly I rented worked well. Luckily I have Experience with small trailers car dollies and other equipment. Good thing because there was no instruction on using the rental equipment from sales staff but they have a great built out online resource. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars had they acknowledged me right when I walked in the door they would have gotten 5 stars.If you found this review to be helpful please like it.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My reservation had me returning the vehicle to this location. I show up, and wait about 5-10 minutes for someone to come out to where I was directed to park the truck. When they do, they ask if I can take it to another location, as if I am their employee tasked with moving trucks around as needed. I did not want to, but the agent then hands me a piece of paper to show me where to go. I later read it more to see he had gone into the system prior to me even acquiescing to this change and changed the reservation to returning the equipment across town.So I drive back the way I came and waste 20 minutes of my day to do U-Hauls job. I then get to the new place and have to buy more gas because the gauge no longer matches, hmmmm perhaps the drive used up some gas. Never use them if you do not have to.

WORST SERVICE EVER! I rent UHauls regularly and this is by far the worst facility in the country. Their customer service is rude at best. I would never rent from this location and this will be be the last time I return to it. Next time Ill waste time and money just to avoid dealing with these jerk offs. You can bank on a call to corporate too. They also bill you for their mistakes and nonsense. Again worst customer service ever.

Be careful when reserving units ahead of time here, as the reservation system will allow more than one person to reserve a unit at the same time. However U-Haul dealt with the problem fairly quickly and effectively and I was very satisfied with my customer service experience.

I called two weeks in advance to reserve a truck. They had 0 26-foot trucks and only 1 20-foot truck. I reserved it for a 10 a.m. pickup. THE NIGHT BEFORE they called to tell me the truck I had reserved would not be available until 5 p.m. on the day requested. I told them this was unacceptable because I had hired movers to be there at 10:30. They were unwilling to give me any sort of explanation. I moved the reservation to the following day and tried to pay in advance. They told me that even putting money down would not guarantee a truck would be available. This is the most frustrating move I have ever had and I have even moved across the country with the Navy.

GM of this location went over and above for us last Thursday. Not only did he jump in to help us with our disabled/bent trailer hitch, he was energetic, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable! Rented us a truck to pull our RV, and even threw in some free miles. Two other clerks there in the front were also super friendly. Great guys! There is a lady that works there that started off my odyssey by stating loud and clear, in front of other customers, Were not touching it. Luckily the GM was extraordinary, super friendly and swooped in to save the day. Found out that this lady has worked there 15 years, and is probably bitter. She obviously needs to find a job that suits her better.

I reserved a truck over 2 weeks ago for a rental on the 23rd of April. The website told me a representative would call shortly after placing my reservation.On the phone, (amber, i believe was her name) she handles all of southern oregon uhual reservations.Told me that the they can not guarentee my reservation will be available and that they would give me a call on the 19th.Here it is, the 19th of april and i did not receive a phone call from the representative or any other way of contact( text email etc... )This lack of communication, especially days before a trip when the representative was adamant about contacting me on a specific day, doesnt make is worth it to do business with u-hual again.

My dad and I went in there to rent a truck. The lady with the bright pink hair was rude and extremely judgmental. All because my dad couldn’t remember the address to where he was moving to. After I got upset, the manager asked us to rent a truck from somewhere else. He said he didn’t appreciate me getting mad for the way his employee had behaved. The customer service there is lacking to say the least. Don’t rent a truck from them.

They charged me an extra $150 for a $30 two hour rental and I had to drive back there once and call them and the manager multiple times to resolve it. They eventually gave me my money back but they never compensated me for any of the trouble. I still feel as though it could be charged as theft, how could you make such a huge mistake to charge someone 500% extra.

If they knew anything about customer service they’d accept THEIR OWN equipment at the location we agreed on in the beginning and just have their employees drive it to another location if they have to change it for any reason.

These people could careless about ypu have a rude attitude. There are misleading claims about their storage from their call center. Also dealing with the management at the location is terrible. Hard to reach then rude when. You actually talk to them. Youre better off using a different company or a least going to a different location just look at their current rating. My boyfriend and I are both new to using Uhauls. We went in and rented our truck and paid for it. Nobody told us that what we paid wasn’t the final price! So we returned the uhaul and they said because we used more miles than we said (the guy who we rented from the day before suggested the miles and we went with it) that we had to pay an additional $15! I’m so angry because we don’t have the additional money, we didn’t even have the money for the insurance! So they need to start doing a better job of explaining everything to customers before hand!

Came in today hoping to get a storage unit for some lowly college students who don’t have a lot of money. The Manager Trevor was amazing. Super helpful and was able to get us a unit right away for us to move our stuff into. Thanks U-Haul and Mr. Hussey for helping some stressed out kids be a little less stressed today.

Rented a pickup for a few hours to deal with yard debris, and it was smooth. No line when I came up, the vehicle I needed was there, and the price was right. (Although, I hadnt intended to buy the insurance, I did it would be wise given that the pickup was so new.) Return was just as easy, with guy checking it in via his phone and sending receipt inside, so I didnt have to wait in line.(Many years ago, I waited over 30 minutes in line at this location, so either I lucked out, or theyve vastly improved their systems. Ill believe the latter, for now.)

I was very disappointed in my experience at this location.24-hour access is not accurate. The manager, Johnny was nice enough to call me back after hours, but I was informed that the policy is not to allow new renters 24-hour access.This was specifically why I chose this location. I checked online and called and it was confirmed for me before reserving the unit. I arrived after work to pay for the unit and was planning to move my things in last night. Not being able to access it after hours was a dealbreaker for me.Johnny, did nothing for me and was unwilling to make and exception. Not even with an offer of an extra deposit, would be make an exception.This put me in a bind and I want other people to know not to count on this place for what they advertise. I’m told the website and call centers are cooperate and have me incorrect information.This location did not get my business and the manager yelled at me on the phone while I was trying to explain my situation to him, as I was told that he is the one who can make the exception.

I have used the U-Haul at Franklin in Eugene about 5 times since I have moved to Eugene. Each time they have done an excellent job. I do not have the same experience that other reviewers have had which are negative. After reading those reviews when I am looking up the phone number on internet, I thought how that is not at all my experience, so I decided to put out a review of my own for once.When I rent from U-Haul, I try to be able to pickup or deliver my rental at their store, because I like them best. Of the different cities I have lived in over the last two decades, using U=Haul in many of them, my experience was often difficult. Not with this U-Haul on Franklin. Each time they have been professional, courteous, and make good suggestions to help me save money and be safe with my towing or truck use. It seems that I generally do not need to wait, just pull up, get my trailer hooked up. Similar experience for drop off.

❌Minorities beware❌ 5/12/16 6:55am Not very friendly bad customer service. I got here about 5 minutes before they opened and a lady (Jackie) was outside washing a truck and just looked at me and let me go check the door without saying a word.When I get back to my car I see a white lady do the same thing I did and she smiles at her and told her the business was open.They are also trying to rent me a truck with a quarter tank of gas and they know I have to go more than 60 miles because I put in reservations.I will note that the man I spoke with was friendly with good customer service.

Makes moving things a lot easier. These folks are there to help you out with all of the packing supplies, vehicles, and tips to make your move easier than you ever thought possible. They really are helpful. The vehicles are well maintained and you get to mark where the damage has already occured before you rent.

One very rude woman and disorganized scheduling.I scheduled a time to bring my car to get a hitch installed. I had to call the day before to see if they even have a hitch in for my appointment the following day. They havent by early afternoon so I planned my morning with the guarantee from them that if they did get it in the afternoon would be fine.That evening I had a series of calls from them but they left no message and every time I pick the phone it just cut out. I finally get a hold of them the day of my appointment at noon and find out that they did get the hitch in and that 230 would be good.When I show up at 2:30 the woman behind the counter acted like I had completely wasted their time in the morning bye missing my appointment. When I said I called to confirm for 230 she basically told me I was a liar. After talking to somebody over the radio she said yes they can take me today. Then things got a little weird.She asked me if I wanted to do electrical with my hitch. I told her that I presumed for the cost that electrical was included but if not then Id like to know what it would be. She went into a small tantrum about how every time she set up and install like this she verifies with everybody if they want electrical or not... Why would I assume it was included in the price?After a small conversation in which I was called hun and sweetie a few times in the most sarcastic way, I leaned over the counter and said, you never called me. I walked in over the weekend and ordered it.Come to find out my car already have the electrical strung and they were going to charge me a couple hundred dollars more to get that part done.I walked out without getting it installed feeling like it was going to go very bad. I passed one of the young men outside who is going to work on my car and he got a message from her over the radio that I was leaving. He just ruled his eyes and turned around.Be careful getting anything from these guys and dont expect service...or for that matter them caring about keeping your business. Ive never felt so good paying extra at the dealer.

I filed a complaint with the 1-800 number and never heard back. I returned equipment at the overnight drop-off and took pictures. There was road construction which made the drop-off point one direction only. I left the vehicle nosed into the drop off (how I left it in the photo) because there was no way to turn around due to the construction.I went to get a padlock because I was dropping it off unattended and when I came back it had been moved. I assume, because the vehicle was blocking the drop off point. An employee had to reverse the vehicle and trailer out of the spot I left it to move it out of the way.The next day Im told the trailer tongue had been bent. The manager, says I have insurance so its fine and he assures me he knows I didnt do it because of the bumper the u-haul had makes it near impossible to bend unless it was reversed at a very sharp angle. I also know for a fact that I never used reverse while turning with the trailer attached. Im confused by this revelation and get off the phone to look at my pictures which show no bend when I picked it up or dropped it off. I txt the pictures to the manager and ask to see surveillance of the employee moving it that night to which the manager immediately calls and becomes hostile refusing to review any surveillance video because of the difficulty.Long story short this place covered their own mistake with insurance fraud and lost a future customer. Dont use overnight drop-off.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I rented a van. Was late upon returning it, so instead of calling/emailing me the van is reported stolen. They claim they called and email but that I gave them the wrong number. But yet the emailed me my contract and it had my correct number. So van was returned to this facility full of my belongings on the 9th. On the 10th my belongings were THROWN IN THR GARBAGE. TWO BRAND NEW TABLETS, TWO BRAND NEW LAPTOPS, OVER $8000 IN CLOTHES, $1000 in bare minerals makeup, TOOLS, CELL PHONE, ETC. I asked what the policy was on throwing peoples belongings away, I was told its case by case. Yet this manager, NICK KERB, DID NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE VAN! ALL HE KNEW WAS THAT HIS TEAM MEMBER SAID THAT HE THREW THE ITEMS AWAY . Yeah right! They need to be made responsible. No calls before tossing my items, no emails, no calls before reporting the van stolen, no emails. This is not the type of service I am used to getting from UHaul. Any other time Ive been late I received a phone call, and several of them if I missed the call. But not one this time! Very disappointed. I would give negative 100 stars if I could!

We rented our Uhaul trailer from these guys. We told them what size trailer we needed (their biggest) and had them special order the hitch. They ordered the wrong hitch. The trailer weighs 1600 lbs. The hitch is only suggested for less than 2000 lbs. The manager who ordered it had to ok them renting the trailer to us. He also scolded me for saying damn when at the time of ordering the hitch, that very manager had no issue dropping f bombs about the customers he had just helped. Plus their storage units have rats. Rats ate all through our couches there. Id never use them unless I have to...

I spend quite a bit of $ monthly on storage. I received an email from the site manager Johnny Dobbins after my bank updated my credit card that my property would be sold if I did not remit payment immediately. No phone call, no mail/letter, just an email that went to my spam box and then the second which I *fortunately* saw. Very unprofessional, would not recommend, and I will be switching to a different storage solution as soon as possible.

Inept and dishonest employees will say anything to get you out the door. My truck wasnt ready at the time I reserved it. It didnt have the blankets or equipment in it when I left, after waiting 50 minutes to get my truck and moving equipment loaded. Check your receipt carefully and check the truck and all equipment too for ANY damage or missing items. If there is a problem and you are a one-way rental be sure to have it dealt with at the store or call the national 800 number BEFORE YOU LEAVE and take names and notes and photo if you think you will have a claim or an issue when you are returning equipment or trucks.

While the crew who rented to me were lovely, the lady there when I returned the next day(long dark hair, bangs, old-looking), just ruined my very good morning with her RUDENESS (today, in case anyone wants to check time clock). She barks rather than speaks: No speaking to me or even looked at me all, just pushed the sign-here window at me when time came to return my deposit, did not confirm amount, nor even alert me what she was asking of me when she shoved it in front of me. When I asked, she barked instead of speaking, WELP! if you want any money back! you have to sign that!, dismissively, again, not even looking at me she barked this. I was like, oh my. I looked at her to see if shed at least meet my glance in the moments of silence and my pause. Nope. I meant to ask about the amount I saw but decided to just calculate for a moment. Answered my own question, then unruffled at her mood (just stunningly amazed) I just checked the amount and signed. Then mumbled a wow, youre pretty comfortable with being pretty rude. Im just telling you I cant. . . bark bark bark. I mean. . . . wow. As an fyi, I had come in a few hours before my trailer was due back because I might be a few minutes late, but I was emptying just a mile down the road, so I would not be very late, if at all. In other words, I had come in out of politeness to let them/her know I was back from my journey and just a mile away and would be back soon. So THIS attitude was my reward. Amazing. Wont be using this place again, despite that the employees yesterday when I rented were lovely. They were also very young and likely new. I bailed on a reservation with the Uhaul on Eugene on 6th(?) for this. Wont make that mistake again and will be calling them to appologize. Lol. Sent a copy of this report to Corporate, for what its worth.

Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. DO NOT use U-HaulFirst day I rented their truck and was told the storage place would be open till 7. When I arrived with everything I own to store it at 6:30, they had decided to close early and no one was there. Having just moved out of my apartment, I had to get a motel room. Because I couldnt unload the truck, I missed my train the next morning. After being transfered around to literally 8 different people they finally waived part of my truck rental fee but would not do anything about the cost of staying an extra night or buying a new train ticket.Now here I am 3 months later and its time to get my things out of storage. Ive payed for the first three months up front. I have a week left before I can get my things. I call them up to see if they can prorate it rather than charging me for a month. The person I talk to says they are the call center where all the calls get transfered over to and they cant help me. They try to transfer me back to the place on Franklin, and end up transferring me to a different person at the center. They tell me they will leave a message with the manager and I should get a call back. I never get a call back. What I do get is a late payment notice and a $15 charge. After going through another 10 phone transfers, I get the charge removed, but no prorating. $65 for one weeks storage.This has been the WORSTE customer service experience of my life.DO NOT get involved with these people.

This is the worst storage facility I have ever seen in my life, and Ive been using storage facilities for the last 40 years or so. The access is impossible, there are trucks and trailers parked helter skelter all over the place. Today we had trouble leaving! Their accounting is impossible. They charged us for a delivery which wasnt ours and it took 3 separate tries to get the charge off, necessitating 3 trips to their office as their phone service is in Texas or something. Theyre only open till 5 on Sundays. They are also expensive. Try Secure Storage on Bertelson. You can thank me later.

Place has terrible parking, the parking lot is a flooded pot hole filled disaster, a absolutely horrible experience.
