Me (a novice griller), and 5 of my (grill crazy superstar) brothers all own rec tech grills for the past several years. Our wives have learned to enjoy grilling too, its that easy to use.If you need, you can talk to a live American tech support rep within minutes not hours (which is unheard of in this day and age); and the reps are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.It is nice to see an American company like RecTech stand behind their USA products. The 6 of us (and our wives) highly recommend them!!

We bought an RT 700, because I (the wife) wanted to grill/cook but not use the oven or stove, with the entire clan home. It has been just wonderful for me to be able to go and make burgers, wings, thighs and steak, and have the whole family rave about my grilling skills!! The Recteq crew are fabulous and the frill has changed my life!!!! Cannot say enough good things about it!!!

Great when all works right! Product sold substantially on tech ability. Weakest part. When holidays occur, notifications are on vacation! Using grill now. Notifications are 30 minutes behind. Going back to charcoal. Dependable and I know it. I’ve called customer service several times about weak tech ability. Nothing has changed!

We drove 2 1/2 hours to visit RecTeq and purchase our grill. I was amazed at the vast size of the recteq campus. It was almost like entering an amusement park. Recteq is obviously very community minded and has events like movie nights on campus. There was a nice playground for the kids.Inside the showroom everything was layed out nicely and well organized. The staff was attentive and helpful, but not pushy or pressuring us to make a sale. They were knowledgeable about their products and answered all questions. The grills are well made (Made in the USA!). It was worth the drive and the investment.

I purchased the bullseye because it seemed to be more convenient for short burns than Traeger, it was a mistake, the only thing it is good for is hot dogs or hamburgers. Right out of the box I had to contact them because the temperature probe was broken in shipping.:: since day the temp has been uncontrollable, me day it won’t get hot, the next I burn a steak because I have it set to 450 and go out and it’s 600+ degrees. I would not recommend this product, my Traeger has been flawless for 7 years

Best experience I have ever had making a purchase like this. Went into the showroom, the salesperson knew anything I needed to know. Loading dock loaded me up, knew exactly where to strap it on my truck to make sure I didnt damage it on the ride home. Had issue setting up Wifi on the app when I got home. Read all the app reviews and they were all bad. Except one. Guy said he emailed support and they called him within a few minutes and solved his issue. I had a router issue similar to his, hit the support button in the app. Got a call within a few minutes. Got it going within a few minutes, needs 2.4 ghz router setting changed or something. Smoked a brisket in it the night I bought it. Been throwing sticks since I was a kid, grew up raising hogs. Never cooked a brisket even close to as good as the one I pulled off this RT 700. Love it. Watch the youtube videos on cleaning it while you cook. There are some good tricks out there.

Not only did she explain the feature differences, but also the weight differences and the out-the-prices of each. We appreciated the fact that a unit was in use so we could judge how much heat was given off.

I bought my grill in 2017, by the next year the finish starting falling off. It was rusting under the finish causing the very thin paint to just flake off.I contacted customer service and was told I needed to restore my one year old grill. I followed their instructions to the letter and by the next year it again was rusting.I contacted customer service again and was told that my issue was just “cosmetic “ and there was nothing they could do.RecTec does not stand behind their product and my $1200 grill is now junk.I recommend that if you’re looking for a quality grill you should look elsewhere.

I hadnt heard about recteq grills until my wife had brought them to my attention. An hour or so of research and I was sold. Loved the YouTube videos. She drove 2 and a half hours to get my new grill and unfortunately it was damaged. I had heard about the great customer service from my research and was not disappointed. Even though the only way to return a grill that was purchased at their facility is to drive back to the facility, they made sure I was compensated. The grill and the customer service has over exceeded my expectations so far. So glad I went with rectec.

Love my bull smoker, and highly recommend their equipment. I have smoked meats, fish, cheeses, vegetables, tofu, etc. and had great results. And friends and neighbors are suddenly wanting to stop by more often for some reason...The only downside is the wifi connection if you have a more modern wifi setup. Keeping the grill reliably connected is a real hassle. It would be great if we could upgrade the board on it to use dual or triple band wifi systems.

Purchased a BFG-2500. Great pellet smoker. For the price point it was a huge value. And yes, this smoker may have that bell and this other smoker may have this whistle, but when dealing with the companies at the top they are are comparable. Here is the difference -- I have never experienced the same level of customer service for any other purchase I have made. They are old school, responsive, friendly, and completely reasonable. Dont jerk their chain and I guarantee you they will do EVERYTHING to make you satisfied with your purchase. Based on the customer service, its a no brainer purchase. Im willing to bet their peer competitors dont compete on this point.

Best grill/smoker ever! Best customer service ever! Best company ever! You want to go from 0 to Pitmaster almost instantly? Get a Rec Tec grill. The wifi is a great feature. I can cut my grill on from anywhere to start warming up. I can also monitor grill temps and internal meat temps from anywhere. You think bluetooth is cool? Cut the radius leash and go wifi! Best warranty on the market too. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome grills and awesome customer service. This store is also so much more than grills/smokers. The rubs and sauces and accessories they have that I have bought are just as good as the grills. The YouTube content they put out has helped me immensely. Cant say enough good things about these guys and their products. I got the stampede and to be honest I thought I would have buyers remorse because of the price. I havent doubted it once. It is built very well and doesnt shake like some if the other lower end grills I have bought. You get what you pay for though.The wireless capabilities of this thing are nothing short of amazing. Had not fully decided on which grill/smoker to purchase so driving down to see all (most) of the models in person seemed like a good idea. Ended up deciding on the Bullseye as a replacement for my Weber gas grill that is nearing end of life and a kettle charcoal grill that was giving inconsistent results. Nice people... very helpful...answered all our questions about the various products.EDIT:The Response from the owner asked what could have been done to earn 5 stars in my review. The answer is simple...lower PRICES. I realize that in life you often get what you pay for and I hope this saying holds true for this purchase. By the time I walked out of the store, the receipt for my new $399 Bullseye totaled close to $700 (Pellet bundle, cover, griddle). I was a little surprised at that total. Completely my issue, I could have walked away but having made the trip already from Columbia, I decided against going home empty handed. It sure would have been nice to have some money left over for Grillgrates (Searing Station) and some meat to cook.

Best Grill I have ever owned. I was in need of a new grill and wanted to move towards a high end grill, wood pellet to be exact. I ordered and received the Rec Tec RT_590 grill. It was the in-between is grill. First let me say easy to set up and its even easier to cook with the WiFi and app for your phone. I am telling you I have never, I mean never, cooked as great as I have with this grill. My family absolutely loves my cooking off the grill, in fact, look forward to me actually cooking on the grill and asking whats next. I have cooked ribs, fish, steak, burgers, dogs and brisket, breakfast, casserole and on and on. The taste and tenderness is awesome, like we are eating at the restaurant and what makes it even easier are the recipes are on their website.Here is what I believe sets Rec Tec apart besides the grill itself!! When you buy a Rec Tec you become part of a family, but even before that I felt like I was part of a family. The social media access you have with them is phenomenal. The have live presentations, lunch hour, every day cooking different foods. Tons of videos on you tube and they still answer questions from videos from three years ago. I honestly cant believe how involved they are with their customers. And the customer service number is even better. I have had to call twice, once about an order and once about setting up and they picked up immediately and answered my questions, but more importantly it wasnt these canned responses by someone overseas, an actual real person who seemed to care.I just want to emphasize that I have owned a few grills in my time and I cant believe how awesome and easy this grill is when I am cooking my food.

Ok first the grill. I had this grill in my cart on their website at least 12 times in the 6 months leading up to my purchase. I kept questioning if there really was a grill worth what they were asking for the Bull. Trust me there is and it is the RT 700. It is as solid as advertised. Extremely easy to assemble and works exactly as promised. Very easy to use and the companion app makes grilling and watching the game a breeze.Now for the customer service, its hard for me to say which is better the grill or the service, and Im not sure it matters because no other company comes close in either area.These guys and gals go way way way above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and work relentlessly to address any issue that you may have.Trust me you will not be sorry you purchased a grill from Rec Tec!!!!!Im saving for the Wyldside now!!

This aint no game!Recteq takes the art of grilling meat very seriously. No other product on the market even comes close. The build quality of these grills and smokers is 2nd to none. Customer support exceeded my expectations in every way. I recommend that you purchase both an RT 700 Bull smoker and a bulls eye grill. Both items work together Beautifully. Recteq introduced me to the concept of reverse searing. If you have any problems whatsoever or just wanna talk about barbecue give them a call. Recommended for build quality That produces a consistent grilled product. Recommended for customer service which is 2nd to none in the industry.

Buying a RT-700 was a huge mistake... Didnt take long for peeling paint & surface rust. Doesnt get to 500 degrees as advertised. App is a work in progress, at best. No smoke flava since the focus is to have minimal temp swings

I researched pellet grills for over a year. My wife and I decided we would use some extra money after the first of the year (2020) and buy the RT 700. However for Christmas 2019 my wife bought me the grill for my present. This grill has worked flawlessly and we use it regularly. I have since purchased several accessories and every time I call to order I have been met with customer service that treats you as if you were part of the family.I cannot put into accurate words how satisfied I am with the grill and the customer service I have experienced.Top notch products and customer service.If you like smoke flavored foods, don’t hesitate to purchase a grill from this company!!!!!!!!!

Ive had the 340 for a few months and have been loving it. I came down with Covid and didnt use it for a little bit and some moisture got into the hopper/feeder and created a huge jam in the auger system. I called rec teq and the customer service assistant, Darby talked me through dismantling the grill, clearing the jam and reassembling it. After reading reviews before I bought the grill I had seen everyone say the customer service is good but I wasnt expecting the level of help that Darby provided. The customer service that comes along with buying these grills make them worth every penny.

This review is for the RTB380 Bullseye. It is the perfect companion for the RT700 Bull. I had a couple of problems with my Bullseye and contacted RT customer service each time. They were awesome and walked me through fixing the issues. When I had a 3rd problem and called them, they apologized for the difficulty and volunteered to ship me a new Bullseye. Ive never seen a company that stands behind their products the way Recteq does.

First time visiting show room. Everyone there is so professional and on point. They know their product inside and out. I purchased the 700 and in love with it. I will never consider another smoker. Their customer service is phenomenal and they offer a warranty unheard of in the industry. If you’re looking for a grill or a smoker you have to go recteq. Awesome place to visit. Picked out my 700 on a Tuesday and went back on a Friday to pick it up assembled. Ive used it several times since just getting 2 weeks ago. Customer Service Saved ThemOrder my Bullseye on 4/18 showed up at my door on 4/23 (free and fast Shipping NICE); the packaging it showed up in was in “perfect condition” but after unpacking and getting ready to assemble I notice the guard on the bottom of the hopper was bent in that also bent the lower corner a bit plus the inside hopper guard was also bent down from all the parts be stuffed in it (to say the least not very happy about that). Watched the video as I assembled it with no problems 30 minutes tops (as doing this I sent pictures to Recteq showing the damage and told them it had to come from the plant that way etc.). To my surprise I had a reply from them within that 30 minutes offering me to return it, or they would send me replacement parts so I could fix the bent parts; I took the parts and within 10 minutes I received an email showing my replacement part being shipped for free plus they through in a FREE grill cover for my troubles. WOW that’s Customer Service done right! Took a “3” Star rating to a “5” Star just like that plus after my 1st cook (2 Racks of Ribs, 12 Burgers, and 16 Hotdogs) I’m loving this thing so far.

Just got my 340 two weeks ago, it does everything as advertised plus more. I had an issue with some damage when it was delivered, customer service was outstanding at resolving the issue. I’ve used it 5 times, the temperature never fluctuates more than a couple of degrees, I would highly recommend recteq grills to everyone!

PHENOMENAL customer service!! The girl who checked us out was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose which one... the transaction was smooth and fast! Recteqs customer service is the best in the industry. Myself and a group of friends visited the Recteq facility recently and purchased several grills. During our visit, two employees, Price and Semaj, went above and beyond expectations to help us throughout our visit and subsequent purchases. They explained the quality and reliability of the Recteq brand, gave us tips and advice about each grill, and even gave us a tour of the facility. I expected great things from Recteq after hearing and reading about the grills, but the quality and customer service surpassed all expectations. When I got home, I called back because I forgot to purchase a grill cover. The line was busy, so I hung up and decided to call later. Two hours later they called me back and said they were sorry they missed my call and asked how they could be of service. If you are looking for a new grill, look no further than Recteq. They truly are the best grills, and no other company has their level of customer service.

Purchased the grill less than a year ago. Reasons I purchased was good reputation, quality and 4 year “warranty.” My last smoker was a Traeger and I was looking for an upgrade. Up until recently the grill has worked great with only rare WiFi connection issues.This last Saturday the smoker would turn on but would not heat up so I looked for the usual culprits of causes I.e. no pellets, hot rod malfunction, augur jam or motor malfunction. It turns out that the augur was jammed. I called Rec Tec they answered right away as they usually do. The first rep I spoke to said oh yeah it’s an easy job there is a video to break it down and it is only 2 set screws to get the augur out. So I hesitantly complied drained most of the pellets with a shop vac, took out 19 screws, the augur motor off, the two set screws and muscled the augur out. This took about an hour and 15 minutes. I cleaned the augur and the shaft to the best of my ability then proceeded to put everything back together. I muscled the augur back in however it didn’t set right so I called Rec Tec back and they answered right away and she said send me pics of it to our email, so I complied. She gave me instructions and I completed it this took me another 30 minutes. I asked her can’t you send out a service tech or return it she said we don’t have service techs and returning it would be too expensive. I asked if the other models have this issue and I didn’t really get a straight answer. I also asked what if an older woman who had no tools had an issue? The customer service rep said that they would go to the Rec Tec forum and see if there was anyone close to her that could go to her house and help her. Really? During a Pandemic? When I was told there was a warranty I think replacement or repair with a professional. I am not an appliance repair man.I get it all together and try running it and it freezes again, so I call back and speak to a 3rd rep I send him pics and a video. He said that I need to take the augur back out and clean it then reinsert. I am now really frustrated and angry. I again echo that there should be a service tech or a better return policy. He said it would cost over $300 to ship out the smoker basically they won’t do that. Obviously Rec Tec should contract with local service techs in each state and pay them service fees however that is also not an option. They trust that owners of the grill need to repair them when something goes wrong under their guidance.I was told by two reps that the pellets in my grill somehow got WET, however I live in Arizona it has not rained in over a month, the grill is under my porch out of the elements and I cover the grill up. I had a Traeger smoker for 15 years and never had this particular issue. Upon expressing my frustration with the reps they also got frustrated with me. Now I am over two hours into “repairing” my grill that is under “warranty” and it is still not working. I have to work and won’t have time to finish this for another 3 days. Sorry for the novel I rarely write reviews but when you invest into expensive appliances you expect them to work or at least have a professional that can fix it for you.

I had the pleasure of dealing with both Semaj and Price a few weeks back, when I came in with several friends.Semaj went above and beyond to help us figure out what grills and accessories we needed. We asked him for some exceptions that would require managerial approval, and he did not hesitate to approach his managers with difficult questions. It takes a special person to explore options like that, and I am extremely grateful for him. When I come back to purchase additional grills, pellets, and seasonings, I will be 100% certain to make sure that Semaj is my sales guy. He seriously rocks!Price was unbelievable as well. We spent a good amount of time with him when we went to pick up the grills down in the loading area. He helped guide us to accessories and grill set up. He showed us many of the ins and outs of what to expect. He was efficient, friendly, and intelligent. You have a good man there!Overall, my experience at RecTeq was stellar. I shall continue to spread the word!

I have been trying since November to return my second defective grill for a refund! These guys are impossible to deal with and I just want my money back. I gave up and bought another company’s grill and the sad thing is that the recteq cooked better.

So lets talk about RecTeq. I have two models in the 700 and 380. From build quality, to delivery, to assembly and to use, there is nothing better out there at their respective price points...period. In fact, I would on suggest two modifications to my 380. One, the hopper guard should be removable instead of fixed to ease cleaning. That said, if I owned the company, I would make it fixed as well to mitigate liability risk. Two, the hinge on the lid could be better, but it is a standard size so I could resolve this if it really bugs me. All that to say, if those pesky complaints are the only issues, RecTeq has seriously gotten things right.Now, lets talk about customer service! It rocks! It is how all companies should act. They have simply applied the Nordstrom customer service model to smokers!

RecTec grills are built like a tank. I have 2st generation 680. It keeps going strong. The customer service os like no other company IN THE WORLD. The owner gives you his personal cell # when u biy a grill.

To say Recteq has good customer service is off a little. They have OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!The customer service is above and beyond what one can hardly ask for in todays times. If you call and have questions, they kill you with respect, kindness and support to get you the answer you need.I was over there today, I only dropped in to pick up some of their Wonder seasonings. I was told they had some specials going on in the shipping department to head ⬇️ am and check them out. I was greeted by Price and Joe. You would have thought we were long lost grilling partners! Joe answered several questions I had about my Bullseye, Price walked me around and showed me everything they had on the special, offered to help anytime I needed it and was just great to talk with! They BOTH took the time out of their day to make sure I had the knowledge I needed and the Matador I had been dreaming of! They evenTook the time to make sure I had good recipes to go home and try!1Recteq=PREMIUM CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

These guys are the best. I bought the 340 and it got damaged on the way to me, Adam Doolittle contacted me and hooked me up with some extras to cover the damages even though it wasn’t their fault, it was UPS! I appreciate the opportunity to own a grill that’s worth the money and to be treated so fairly by a company after it was obviously not their fault. Thanks Adam! 15/5 star service. Give that man a gold star or a raise, your choice!!

I went there to get parts for an older RT-B380 late afternoon on Saturday about an hour before closing. I was met by George Blackburn who is the Retail Manager. He explained that his small parts folks had left for the day but he would be happy to handle it himself. 5 minutes later I was on my way home to get my grill up and running! I bought RT700 2 years ago and could not be any happier. That grill is amazing. This past Christmas I purchased the bullseye for my girlfriends father. Well didn’t know but they had purchased me the bullseye also . My favorite fast,hot,easy to use small grill . I’m glad I did my homework and went with Recteq. My next investment starts next week it’s my birthday and I’m driving to Georgia to see the shop and purchase something else . Oh yeah I’m bringing some beers from the north for you guys see you next weekend.

Amazing grill with even better customer service support team . I bought a grill With the help of Ashley Brown who went out of his way to help, educate, and follow up on my purchase. If I could buy another grill I would . They delivered my RT 700 and checked back in for the following two weeks to make sure I was satisfied.Rec Teq is invested in their customers not only for the immediate sale but for the long term . I purchased the RT-590 about 3 months ago. I could be happier with the construction quality or the customer service. The folks at RECTEC will do whatever it takes to make sure your experience is great and you’re really getting what you pay for with these things. Like a tank. I continue to buy their accessories and their rubs and will be a rectec guy for life if they keep this up.
