Really cool and clever stuff, and its amazing to realize how much of it Lena creates on her own. Its a really esoteric, magical place, and, chances are that youll find something truly unique for yourself or someone in your life. The shop is deceptively small, and its chock full of creativity. So much DIY stuff!it would be easy for someone so talented to come across as smug or full of herself, but Lenas about as chill and down to Earth as they come.

This shop is such a unique, fun, and NECESSARY part of the Evanston retail community. Lena, the owner, is an absolute joy and the ‘Wizard of Cute.’ She can’t whip up so many adorable novelties that you won’t be able to find anywhere else, and it is the type of store that makes you smile the second you stop in. She recently made a mug for me that is going to be a treasure in our family for years to come. Thank you for being in Evanston, Nice Lena!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Nice Lena & Friends is my favorite shop in Evanston. Lena really is nice! She and her shop are fun, creative, and a wonderful addition to the community. Ive bought cards, jewelry, buttons, custom key chains, candles and fairy doors here and have my eye on some art and clothing too. I hope shes here for a very long time.

LOVE Lena! She is an amazing artist and sells wonderful things in her shop. Whenever I need a special gift, I always walk out with something I know will impress. Also, the card-making and button-making stations are a big hit with the my kid (which is awesome while Im trying to shop ;) ). Definitely, my favorite place in Evanston, and Lena is one of my favorite Evanston people. Shop with confidence!

My daughter Sophia, my niece Avery, and moi cannot get enough of this fantastic boutique shop. Nice Lena & Friends has everything from amazingly creative and artistic wall art to homemade scented candles, homemade soap, jewelry, gags, games, greeting cards, tote bags, dish-ware, toys, clothing, and so much more if you can believe that. My daughter and niece love making homemade buttons and greeting cards at the craft station Lena has set up for everyone to use and there are no shortage of art supplies and all the tools needed to make something beautiful and unique. I love this place. It doesn’t hurt that Lena, the owner, is so friendly, outgoing, great with kids, generous, and pretty much the epitome of humanity’s great good. The atmosphere and and setting is very cozy and has a great ambience and vibe. I’ll be a lifelong and loyal customer moving forward. Our community and the kids within it are lucky to have Lena. With iPads, and cell phones taking over its easy for our kids to get caught up in the world of technology; the activities, arts and crafts projects, and stimulating, fun things Lena has to offer will ensure the kids of our community will acquire and maintain an interest in art with a desire to hone their craft and skills. I can’t say enough nice things about nice Lena and her business. Nice Lena is the perfect name and once you visit the store you’ll understand why it’s such a fitting name.

Lena is so lovely and her shop is wonderful! Great spot for gifts, personalized candles, notebooks, etc. I just got a candle refilled there and the scent is amazing!!!

NiceLena and Friends shop is awesome - and so is Lena! Anytime I need a gift for a friend or want to check out some handmade jewelry, local art, textiles, stickers, Lenas yummy candles(!), tshirts, etc etc etc I stop in to say hi. There is a small play area for little ones if you need to browse without your toddler touching all the things too...very helpful. :) I’ve also done a jewelry making class there and I still always wear my necklace I made that night! Such a fun spot and one of my favorites in Evanston!
