One of my place I missed the most after I moved out of the Evanston!I cant remember how many times I had been to this place and I didnt care to leave a review when I lived here in Evanston 1 years ago.Once I stepped my feet back to here, TEAlicious was the first thing that came to my mind.I ordered my go-to drink which is pineapple yakult green tea with brown sugar tapioca. Its very fruity and has a bit tart from the pineapple, and you can even taste the fiber form the fruit! The sweetness comes from the yakult yogurt and the freshness comes from green tea. IMO, its the perfect combination out of all yakult drinks. And if you like refreshing drink rather than creamy drinks like milk tea, you should try this.The popcorn chicken bento is good as usual! It has great amount of meats and the veggies are fresh and crispy. One minor downside is that the rice is not enough to pair with the meats.Overall, I was impressed that the flavor and quality hasnt changed! I want to visit back already when writing this review 😭

This place is delicious in Evanston besides Kung Fu Tea. It’s your typical bubble tea spot with just cute aesthetics for instagram on the wall and the lighting of the place is very well lit

Their bento boxes are tasty and have good portions. I have tried 2 of them which included rice, corn, broccoli and chicken. I ordered teriyaki chicken the 1st time that I went to this place. It was tasty and well cooked. The 2nd time I went there, I ordered popcorn chicken and it was a good as well.I am very satisfied with each meal that I have eaten there because they are hearty and worth the price.

Very good bubble tea place! Quick service and wide variety of drinks available, also some food like popcorn chicken, but you should mainly come here for the boba tea

It is a very novel tea house with unique tea concoctions made with tapioca balls, the bubbles I guess. It was our first experience. We enjoyed it.

This place is cool. They dont have pre-made flavor mixture so everything is made fresh. They also have milk alternatives like almond, oat milk etc. The environment is inviting, and the employees greeted us with warmth and kindness. ALSO THEY HAVE PLUSHY WALL!!!!! Great for photos. This place is a must visit.

Great boba shop that sells a variety of different drinks (smoothies, shakes, milk and fruit teas, etc.) as well as several bento box selections. The workers are super nice, and the place has a very charming aesthetic to it (note the stuffed animal wall when you drop by)!

Second bubble tea spot I’ve ever tried and I’m very pleased with their selection as well as the simplicity of the ingredients and their commitment to real ingredients. I had brown sugar bubble tea latte (with black tea). I loved my husband’s taro green tea (w milk) choice. It was definitely quality green tea! I liked my personal choice too. Little one had a mango smoothie with tapioca bubbles and no sugar added and it was more than enough sweetness. We didn’t sit inside as I felt it was too stuffy but there’s plenty of outdoor public seating a few steps away. The customer service was very good, helpful & patient. I can imagine it can get really busy there so commenting on some of the experiences with less than satisfactory customer service, i can understand that it gets difficult from time to time but it was clear from my observation everyone was working very hard. I wish and hope for the wellbeing and comfort of the business owners to eventually find a spot with a more uplifting atmosphere and a location that gets more light too.

My favorite boba place! The boba is chewy and gummy like. I like the strawberry matcha milk tea with less ice and less sugar. Delicious!

Best bubble tea on the north side

At first I thought we made a mistake. Place was warm (a/c was way too low or not on and it was very warm that day) and table we choose was dirty.....ugh. We stayed and ordered hesitantly. They have bubble teas, slushies, ice cream wrapped in a waffle and 8 bento boxes. I had spicy chicken bento and my daughter had teriyaki shrimp. We also had a mango bubble tea with boba. Bento boxes.were awesome. Fresh corn and asparagus! Bubble tea was ok. Not a cheap place, but bento box quality was up there with any full service Japanese restaurant. Women working were nice and helpful.

😍 The drinks are delicious, pretty, not from powder & affordable (free non-dairy milk substitutions!) Plus the bubble waffles ($4) are the best Ive had in Chicago, even after getting it delivered. Very fluffy, with a good bite. Im so happy the northern burbs has such a yummy bubble tea spot!

My favorite bubble tea place in Evanston!

We have been ordering at least once a week for a few months now, during the pandemic. Delicious handmade boba and high quality tea. Their popcorn chicken is a really good snack as well. They seem to expand their menu often as well, which is exciting!

We were at the Evanston area to celebrate the 4th. We came across this shop from Yelp while looking for asian dessert places. I have to admit this shop surprised me in a VERY good way. The tea selections are amazing, plus it has brown sugar milk or tea latte options (it’s very popular now after cheese tea). The bobas were chewy and had brown sugar taste. Excellent tea options and the egg waffle is delicious! A decent amount of seating good for smaller sizes groups. So far, the only thing I wouldnt recommend is the popcorn chicken because the chicken had lots of fat and lower amounts of a actual meat.

I was looking for a good bubble tea place, and this is the one. The teas are so rich and yummy, and their boba is THE BEST. I would totally come here again, ordering the popcorn chicken with my drink. I have finally found my go-to place for bubble tea!!

This place had a very good vibe, but the majority of people that came in & out were teens. They had a large selection of items on their menu. The fruit & milk teas were delish! Parking was a bit difficult to find, but after circling a few times, we found a good spot.

Their Bubble tea is just great. I think this place is best in Evanston for bubble teas. Love Almond milk option at no additional cost.

I really Use to like this place but I think the care isnt there honestly. Everyone is standing around sour and it’s like 12 pm, you guys just opened. Second I had ordered jasmin tea and got jasmin milk tea, I told the worker I can’t drink milk. She is one of the nicer girls there and she kindly replaced it for me. I asked for less ice regular sugar. The replacement tea had no sugar so it tasted bitter. I didn’t want to go back and complain so I let it go. Now I got into the passionfruit tea Drink they have. It was great at first now when I usually order it keeps coming unstrained. I don’t want to be crunching through seeds in the middle of drinking. I really wouldn’t recommend

So far is the best Taiwan bubble tea in Chicago/Evanston. The bubble is fresh and made everyday. Good quality of tea. The popcorn chicken is wonderful. I ordered every time.

The girl who was at the register was super friendly and pleasant to interact with. This place has the best boba Ive had thus far; it was chewy and tasted great. They also have brown sugar milk tea here, which I dont see at most boba places. I would definitely come here often.

The brown sugar ones are very sweet (good taste!). So make sure you mixed them. Or you can make a half sugar and order the latte one (to lessen the sweet). The matcha is also good.I personally love the smoothies, esp. the mango! Less sugar is fine as long as you add peach popping bubble as the topping. When you eat it youll know why it is called popping. The peach bubble is a bit sweet. Perfect combination.The triple berries is also refreshing but berries always leave some berries seeds.They also have some snacks. But, tbh, the pop chicken is a too salty.The place is good. Nice chairs and sofa. Low and high tables. They have that tall toddlers chair as well.Price is higher than other places like KF T, but i think its worth-it.
