On Saturday we purchased our second rug from this company. Our in-store experience exceeded our expectations. After describing what we were looking for, the gentlemen just kept bringing out rugs until we were happy. They were truly concerned we were satisfied with our decision. They were also extremely knowledgeable about their rugs and we were truly impressed with the program involving children drawing designs with the finalists having their artwork turned into rugs, which are on display on the walls! Beautiful!

A great family owned shop! The owners are extremely knowledgeable and have been working in the industry for generations. Whenever a friend is looking to have rugs cleaned or to purchase I always recommend Minasian. We had an old rug of my grand parents cleaned after not being washed for 20 years and came out looking new.

When we first moved to the Windy City, the first thing we noticed was the draft coming from our floor. We are on the second story and needed help, my wife’s feet were freezing all the time! To be honest, we shopped around a bit but ultimately came back to Minasian as their team was the friendliest and the most helpful when it came to our needs. They made us feel at home in their pristine showroom and even let the kiddos test out the rugs! Two thumbs up.

This is the OG rug store of Chicago, the oldest and the best. They have hundreds of hand woven rugs with an amazing selection from closet size to ballroom size. They have rugs that cost more than new cars!The repair and rug cleaning departments are too notch as well. Where else can you go in America and have a hand woven rugs repaired by hand by experts that tie each strand of wool and trim the rig to match exactly the original. If they dont have material to match your rug for repair, they will dye some. The store is a great treasure and we are lucky to have it here.

I used them about a year ago and I dont think they know what theyre doing. Every rug was misidentified on my invoice. The cleaning was horrible and very expensive. Some rugs still smelled and Im unsure if anything had been done to them. My white rug is now yellow and smells so strong of chemicals I can not use it. Id recommend using someone else for cleanings. My experience was horrific.
