The tug seemed to be the perfect solution for our Columbia 350. Assembly was quite easy except for one key part - the connection between the transmission “tube” and the handle “tube.” We spent close to two hours trying to mate these two components with no success. We called the “Worldwide Service” phone number but no answer (in fairness it was on a weekend). We were never able to seat the two components to the mark showing a complete connection. I am quite comfortable with mechanical projects and metal fabrication of all types, so I don’t think this trouble was novice ignorance. I left the tug in a partially seated condition and will attempt to use it to see if it works. If not, I will have wasted $1,700!!!

We have owned the Minimax tug for almost 5 years. Never a problem. We have a PA 28. Our hangar has a substantial slope. At 76 years old I dont have the horsepower to push our plane up hill. The Minimax has never failed me It has added hours of enjoyment to my long flying career. I might add: It is easily partially disassembled and and stowed for extended trips.
