Employees are very nice but hit a bit of a snafu when getting key fob replacement. First their computer wasnt charged then appeared to have difficulty programming the new fob. After returning yet another time they reordered the same key that also didnt work instead of getting the correct key needed. So I wasted more of my time. Do NOT reccomend them for key fob replacement. If you want a battery or light bulb you will be fine. Finally just got a refund.

Very nice employee welcomed me to the store, and said hed be with me as soon as he finished with the customer ahead of me. Meanwhile, I looked around and found the house phone battery that I needed. When he came to help me, I asked him to double check Id gotten the right battery, which he said I did, and then checked me out. Clean store and nice displays.

Very impressed. I dont know why, but I was anticipating a long wait to have the battery changed in my key fob. I was blown away when the employee came back with it two minutes later! He was friendly, and offered advice on how to extend my battery life. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

I had some difficulty reassembling my phone after replacing the battery myself, brought it in and she helped me have it back together in under 10 minutes. Actually glad I had a problem so I could learn of this place!

I ordered 2 bulbs off their website for in store pick up. Then the store manager calls this morning and unfortunately I was not home but he spoke with my wife and told her that he could only get the bulbs we needed by the case and unless we wanted to pay for the whole case he couldnt help us cause he didnt want 38 bulbs in his store cause he has never sold that bulb before. So he canceled my order that was already placed and paid for. This is the first time I have ever heard of this place but I guarantee everyone will know not to do business with them by the time Im done.

He didnt see a problem initially with the port, because of the power draw, but I pushed forward with the replacement, because I felt very strongly it was the source of my data transfer issues. Sold me a gel cell battery that needed a specialized charger. Neglected to fill me in on the special charger needed. Battery failed to completely charge on my old charger. Took battery in and was told it was fine. So I started using different charger, Same thing. After researching I discovered I needed a special charger for Gels. Took battery back in and wanted to trade for a wet cell that worked with my chargers which they had for a (cheaper price} that fit also. Gel cell battery was still fine according to them. They refused to trade or give my money back. I normally research things before I buy but this time I did not. I expected them to take care of me but they did not! The gel cell cost me over a hundred bucks plus 35 more for a new charger, I didnt need. BEWARE when buying batteries from here. I personally will go somewhere else from now on and would suggest others do likewise. I also think they pawned that battery off on me knowing good and well I might not have the correct charger!

I am so glad they had two of the right size and type batteries my husband NEEDED when his current ones went bad. Though we had been trying to go through insurance channels for months to get him new ones, time ran out. Jeff at the Evansville IN branch helped me over the phone (we live many miles away), I paid over the phone and told him who would pick up the batteries, however when Anzel arrived to get them to install them at National Seating, they would not release them saying the batteries werent paid for. National called me, I read off my invoice #, gave Jeffs name and total paid. No more difficulties. Thank goodness for email receipts and phones. Thank goodness they had what we needed in stock.

I quit going there because the employees always acted like I was stupid and that they didnt want anyone to bother them. After about three transactions, the last of which they told me that no one guarantees car batteries, I took my business elsewhere. I dont see how they stay in business since they are always sullen and unhelpful.

I just tried to call my local Evansville store at 9:20 am 12/14/19. The phone rang, the automated syatem picked up, a on hold advertising started with no hello or what was going on. No one answered the phone in 10 min waiting on hold? Called back, same thing, guess they dont need the business.

I had a Metro PCS phone that I carried for a little over a year that wouldnt charge. Metro PCS couldnt fix it but they wanted to sell me a new phone. I went to other phone repair places and they didnt carry the part to replace the charging mechanism. Best buy and Walmart wireless chargers didnt work. However, I came to Batteries Plus and they carried a universal battery charger and he did a great job solving my problem.

Ordered two NiCad batteries for a Milwaukee tool kit I own. First they were not delivered by the promised date. I found out about this after calling a local store through whom the order was placed. So i had to pick up my order in the store. Luckily I was in the city where that store is located for another event, but I do not get there but about every 4 to 6 weeks. I got the batteries home and tested them in my tools. One of them does not fit the flashlight in the kit and is difficult to get on the drill. I called the store and they told me there is a 14 day return policy. Interestingly, they sold me two batteries that are supposed to be the same, but they were two different manufacturers. I am a new customer to Batteries and Bulbs, but it is looking like I wont be a repeat customer.

As a local retailer, I appreciate people shopping local with me and always make sure all clients have a pleasant experience with me, and do what ever I can to ensure that.Unfortunately not the case here,.....I purchased (2) batteries with them for our invisible fence dog collar.I have (2) dog collars for them to go into. The first battery was dead, so I tried the second battery in another dog collar, also dead. I took batteries to them and they verified the batteries were bad.They said it was the fault of the dog collars. They were causing this to happen. I asked out of the package this would happen? And also asked on (2) differant collars, isnt that A BIT UNUSUAL.They agreed, but took the position that without a receipt I was out there in never land.So I will do what I really don not do, but do my business online.These people do not understand how consumers go out of our way to do business with them.So my recommendation, AVOID THESE NOT SO FINE FOLKS!

I went in to get 2 batteries for my car key fobs. The guy was nice and fast, but when I asked if I could have bought the batteries and put them in myself for 1/4 of the cost he laughed at me and said yea. I jokingly said thanks for helping me save money and to that he said, Thats not my job while he was still laughing. If I could have given zero stars I would have. I left my phone for an hour to have the battery changed only to come back and find out they didnt do anything because the battery wasnt in stock. The girl told it they knew they had an inventory problem and I asked her why she didnt check before I left the store and she said I guess I should have. DONT GO THERE

I purchased two mobility scooters for for my Drive Mobility scooter in March 2019. It is now July 2019. On Saturday July 20th, 2019, I drove from my home in Henderson to Batteries Plus in Evansville, Indiana. I asked that they please look at my batteries and see if they could see if they needed to be replaced. First of all they told me that the picture of the receipt on my phone was not adequate. They finally looked it up on their screen and told me that it would take a day and a half to check batteries out. Now bear in mind they never opened the battery case just said that I would have to come back on Monday and talk with the manager. So on Sunday Juky 21, 2019 I had a friend take battery box off to check batteries to see if they were charging. Imagine our surprise to see that batteries were swollen and ready to explode. We immediately took them back to Batteries Plus where we were told that it was my fault since I evidently had overcharged them. Thr only answer was that we come back today and talk with management. This is 3 trips to Evansville and at least one of them was unnecessary since they had not bothered to even look at batteries on Saturday. They made me feel like I was trying to steal from them when all I was checking was too see if they would stand behind their warranty which as of yet they have not done. I paid $154.06 for two batteries so that I could deal with someone close by but I could have purchased them online for $82.99 but it would take 5 to 7 days for them arrive. I feel like since I am 68 years old and disabled that I am being discriminated against. I even found original receipt and they still tell me it is my fault for overcharging. My legs may mot work well but my brain still does.

Taking a vacation and looking for backup battery. Bring my battery in and an elderly man helps me find one. While on vacation I find out it doesnt fit as I try to put it in my camera. Bummer. I take it back to the store after getting back from vacation and of course I cant locate my receipt. They tell me they cant help me with out it. I wasnt looking for cash back just maybe an exchange. They said nope. Nothing without a receipt. Really dude. Big box store it will be. Try to help the local man and this is what I get.

Went looking for a battery for my drone, rep told hey cant sell the batteries it takes .

Everything was just fine, it was close to closing when I called and the guy who answered the phone had three customers he was tending too but still took the time to assist me with my questions, I ordered my battery online to get the 10% discount and had 30 miniutes to get to the store, I made it in 20 and the man at the counter had my battery sitting there waiting for me, I would have given a 5 star rating but even with the 10% online discount $77.00 for a motorcycle battery is a bit steep in my book even if it was an agm with only a 12 month warrenty.

Need the motorcycle batterier replaces we purchased last year. Still under warranty. This store wants us to leave the battery there for 24 hours. Talked to 3 other stores in surrounding areas. They all said they would replace it right away! We are a couple of hours from home now. We would have drive another hour to get to the next store. Do not purchase from the Evansville store and expect service!!!! We need the battery replaced Now!

Wow! I purchased a Duracell ultra battery at the batteries plus in Louisville over a year ago and returned it to one in Evansville because I was having problems with my cell phone . Employee reviewed the issue, checked the phone and replace the battery attack no charge . I am impressed . They do what they say theyll do !
