These guys have been great! I just started brewing, and they took a real interest in making sure I had a successful experience.The inventory is excellent, the store is well laid out, and clean.I really cant recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience all around. Ive purchased from these guys several times online (Im in Spokane), and the order always ships and arrives very quickly, the ingredients are always fresh and are packaged extremely well. I might take away half a star for twice in a row being out of leaf hops when the website stated they were In Stock, but both times they called right away to ask if pellets were OK to substitute, so its just a very minor point to note is all. I have recommended them to others as well and feel comfortable doing so.

These guys are amazing. Prices are as low as you can find online and no shipping and no tax if it is considered a food item which means almost every ingredient! They have upgraded their store a lot in the last year. They have almost every grain, hop, and yeast I have ever wanted.I have been brewing for 5 years now and I will always come here for everything I need.

It is not letting me give 4.5 stars and that is what I would like to give. The staff is excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything I want and more. They have been very helpful in helping me convert recipes and even suggesting ideas when it comes to trying to develop my own personal recipe.The only reason I knock off half a star?? Well lucky for me, there is a bloke around the corner from me who gets me everything I need at two thirds to half the price of HBH. That is not to knock them. He operates from home and by word of mouth so has no overhead. Once he is retired... HBH will be getting all of my buying again. Even now I try and shop there when I can. Their products are more affordable than most Home Brew stores and it has been my experience that they are more friendly and helpful than other places (And that is saying a lot since most every home brew place I have been has had helpful friendly people).The bad reviewers must have caught someone on a bad day which is too bad. I notice most of those reviews were from 5 years ago so I would say to them, give it another go! I have been shopping there for almost three years now and every time it has been a positive experience.

As someone new to homebrewing, this store seemed a little overwhelming to me at first. However, the employees were able to answer all of my questions, and help me find the items I was looking for.I am planning on making cider rather than beer for my first time brewing, and the staff was even able to help me select the items I needed for that.

I love this place! I do not brew beer but I need some of the same things for making Kombucha. I use the 16 ounce clear bottles with the bail on them for my double fermentation. I could not believe how inexpensive they were. I had 12, 8 ounce bottles plus plastic caps shipped to me from an online store and the cost was double what I pay for the 16 ounce with the bail! I am recommending this store to all my customers who are interested in making Kombucha for their supplies. Great customer service as well. Friendly and knowledgeable people and great prices!
