The actual store and the products are good 👍 pretty standard and what you’d expect… but the amount of homeless people and people who loiter outside the store is ridiculous…. I feel so uncomfortable everytime I have to shop here…even my kids noticed and are uneasy….they literally stand there and stare as you get out of your car, walk into the store..they ask for cigarettes, money etc… they wander the parking lot aimlessly, slowly walking between all the cars, they yell random things at people, smoke right by the entrance ..just suspicious behavior all around… management needs to clean it up and put a stop to it..

I now enjoy shopping here at this location, I call it my home store. Ive always have thought it was very clean and appealing to the eye. In the afternoon early evening time, it can get very busy and each register or how ever many they may have open during this time, are long and snake like. I have no problems with any employees not treating me well anymore. In fact those same ones and myself enjoy a conversation from time to time. I like that, that was my goal, all I wanted and needed.

This review is specific to the bakery department: I ordered a cake for a birthday party. The cake was not ready at the time for pickup, reason being the cake decorator was “out.” Regardless of the politics behind the counter, the order was made in good faith “assuming” the staff would fulfill the order. Thankfully, it wasn’t for some huge event (i.e. a wedding) where timing and trust is essential. Definitely going to order from a different Safeway as I have never had this experience.

We can count on the discounts for the wells of the groceries can be very well achieve and accuire them very nice thing for every one else to remember this store has everything.

I been here for a long time but I never seen something ridiculous as of today: red haired girl (I think she was a worker here) was cussing a customer out instead of helping other customers in line at self checkout; just walked away after that. Another crazy customer was bothering other customers. It created a huge line up.

The staff are friendly quick with answers, but the labels for the aisles are in the middle of the store you cant find what your looking for in a hurry. Both the produce & poultry are very over priced for the quality of meat many of the hand trimmed labeled products need to be trimmed again when you get home.

The guy working tonight was pretty rude to a few people knocking at the door at 10 mins to close. A nice, normal person would’ve been polite and came to the door to let them know that he was closing early. He waited for 5 mins. Then, rudely came to the door and said he called the sheriff (for no apparent reason). Just because people were lightly knocking on door. Someone should call the sheriff on him, because that was not called for. Fyi, When social distancing was a big thing, I remember seeing that same guy not social distancing himself from customers. I won’t come back to this Safeway.This individual said there was a security incident from a few nights ago or some deal. That doesn’t give you a right to treat your customers like this, or to threaten them and call the sheriff just because they’re knocking at your door. When he was asked why he called the sheriff he said “this” and pointed to the people on the other side of the door who were nothing but innocent customers.FYI: I barely ever go to your store, because I think it’s so crummy. You just reaffirmed that decision.

Good for a small food business with low operating costs.

Feels like everyone here hates their job. Avoiding eye contact. Noone at customer service desk. Wound up leaving and shopping somewhere else because I couldnt get what I needed because noone was around anywhere. Great fit for the neighborhood with all the bums sleeping outside. Maybe theyd be happy to work here

This Safeway employee was smoking in front of an adjacent business within 10 feet on their front door. The owner asked her to smoke somewhere else, and she refused to move. She says you can call the police, I do whatever I want to do, I dont care. She called her manager on speaker phone and the manager said to do whatever she wants to do. A very poor reflection on Safeway, its management, and just plain rude to the neighboring businesses. If this person has so little regard for the law, and doing what is right, I certainly hope she isnt a cashier! Keep an eye on her Safeway, this is your image. We never had an issue when it was Albertsons.

Im from europe and i really feel bad fpr american people because it feels like they dont know what real produce tastes like because of stores like this. Way overpriced with very LOW QUALITY MEATS VEGETABLES AND FRUITS. HORRIBLE. PEOPLE WAKE UP THEY FEED US LIKE ANIMALS.

Ive given you 2 stars because you have a reasonable organic selection however several of the employees are not taking the mask mandate seriously and as someone who works with very At risk populations. It is very problematic to go into a store when people have their masks down below their noses. It would be very nice to be able to shop and not be fearful of the employees

I have had so many issues with this place. Look out, you may be buying expired, old and moldy food. Take a good look before you purchase. One of the female managers makes you feel very uncomfortable. She has a very unpleasant attitude..

I bought a chicken bbq flat bread pizza from this Safeway. There is no expiration date or sell by date. The onions on it are bad. Smell rancid taste like rotten food. I took one bite and it was so gross! Ive been working as a chef for over a decade! You cant get this past me! I know the difference between good and rancid food! This store regulates their quality of products very poorly! Dont buy pre made food here! Preferably dont shop here!

Pharmacy people are very nice

Just changed to a Safeway from an Albertsons not that it makes much difference. This store is pretty good, prices seem alright, selection as well. Employees all seem fine. Its not located in the best area, not that its the stores fault, but youre going to run into minor issues. I.E. - The other night I went to use the restroom and there was someone just screaming intermittently and a couple of employees were doing their best to deal with it. Eventually a fire truck and ambulance showed up and I assume, helped the person with whatever was going on. Im guessing the store will eventually just shut the bathrooms down rather than deal with all the b.s. that goes on in them and its really too bad. Why cant people just behave themselves? Clean up after themselves? Ill never understand.

Poor customer service. There bathrooms are locked I went and asked for help. One person said I had to ask customer service. Thus, I went to the front and a man said he would call for someone and they would unlock the door. I waited 8 minutes and no one came. I looked around the store again for someone to help and another associate said they could not help. First of all if you don’t have the staff or are to busy to unlock a door the bathroom doors should not be locked, and the sad thing is this has happened twice to me. Would never return to this store or recommend it to anyone.

This grocery store WAS Albertsons now it is SAFEWAY. I absolutely love it. The employees actually help me find food and various other goodies.

2020:its okay... No sense of urgency though.... Slow as snot.April 2021 update: Down to two stars as mens room is out of order.Womens restroom works just fine.Instead of making the remaining restroom gender-neutral they decide to turn away male customers who need to urinate. The customer service director saw no problem with this. And said that a gender-neutral bathroom would violate the privacy of female guests? I dont think so!Furthermore shouldnt they get with the times and have a family/gender neutral bathroom in the first place? This store was literally just remodeled....

Manager lacked professionalism therefore I could tell it trickled down the food chain where outright hospitality is unheard of! I think we should start a GoFundMe.com fund to send these ppl to hospitality school!!!!

I absolutely love this store. Very clean, organized, products are mostly full, except for a few things in frozen section, but was not an issue for me. I still found what I needed. I came in on Saturday 10/3/2020, and Kelli was my checker. I expressed to her how much I love this store, and how positive the energy is here. The energy of a place is very important to me. The employees are very helpful and kind. Kelli was wonderful, and checking out with her was quick and efficient, even when she was interrupted by another customer asking about Similac formula, helped her and another checker, sharing her knowledge while still being kind, courteous and efficient! This gal deserves a raise and a promotion! Very impressive!!! Thank you Kelli!!! Looking forward to my next trip!

Jenny (Janny?) is great with the drive up and go. Plus the Safeways is nicer than the old albertsons. Things are looking up for the area.

With the exception of the security issues brought on by the significant population of local street people, this store is usually clean, well stocked and the team is engaged and friendly.

Right timing to go there not busy. One customer service helped me what I needed.

Went in here at like 530. 2 lanes were open plus self check out. The two lanes open had more than 6 customers in each line and both cashiers were missing from their stands. Self check out was a cluster and an equally long line. I just wanted a bottle of liquor and walked out because it was definitely going to be a 20 minute experience. I was really disappointed with the inefficiency of this one.

As Albertsons go this store is pretty great, really clean, well-stocked, great employees just an excellent experience. Im so happy that this is my new local grocery store.

This place had a good variety of stock of all the groceries but it looked a bit shady. I could see people sitting outside the store on the floor and smoking. They were all staring. I didnt get the good vibe and washrooms are not well maintained at all.

Employees seem unhappy. I wont go there unless I need something really bad.

I came in for a soda and cash back. When I used the restroom, the soap dispenser had been ripped off of the bathroom wall, and I had to ask for soap to wash my hands. 3 star review because the person I asked was helpful and quick to get me soap.

Great place for grocery shopping! Produce is well kept and my wife is hooked on their chicken! Their employees are nice and its good to see a familiar face when I need to pick up some quick items!

Today, I had such a rough service in there. Maybe because I was dressed too simple, or I had some accent. The self checkout staff (55-60ish y.o female) was very rude. Maybe she was not in her mood, but I did not deserve that disrespectful talk.

Sub-Par... Check your expiration dates before heading to check out.. Employees arent rude they just have a difference demeanor based on the clientele they deal with on a daily basis.. Wish this store was better since its the closest grocer to me.

People are polite. Very crowded though. The checkout time is very slow... I wont come here if I am in a hurry.

Its a good store and they have really good customer service and they have nice and fast cashiers to get you in and out fast and the theyre is hot and cold food in the deli thats always good and fresh as well. Most of the time they always have what Im looking for in stock I have no complaints at all.

Little pricier than walmart, as most Albertsons are. However they usually have some really good little niche deals here and there (once had 12 packs of soda buy 3, get 3 free) Also LOVE their little selection of glass bottle sodas. The huckleberry is my favorite.

On Friday at 5pm there was only one check-out lane open and three self-check-out kiosks. And then my kiosk kept malfunctioning. Overall, it was a high-tension experience, but they did have the food I had gone there to buy.

Always under staffed, even if just getting 1 item plan 30+ minutes cause more often then not there is one checker even during the busiest times so the line is long & slow And then self check out backs up because of thisMultiple times seen where a self check out needs override & no one around to helpI have never seen a store with law enforcement there so much & it is for issues not just checksParking lot not safeI do my best to drive further away & sadly spend more on my groceries to avoid this store unless necessary

Albertsons is close so I go there all the time and they NEVER have enough employees and there are a gang of people in this area that need groceries so it’s always a loooonnnnggg wait so that’s not cool—-BUT.... the employees that DO work there are great for the amount of bullish they have to deal with! Cudos to them... prices are “aight” and that’s where I shop

The store is dirty, bakery does not rotate goods so always stale, employees dont all wear masks, allow customers not to wear mask, cashiers ALWAYS act like they are doing you a favor, had to stop using pharmacy because they lost scripts more than 3 times. Drive the extra 2 miles down the road go to freddies where the food is fresher, cheaper, cleaner,safer, and if you do have an issue management addresses it immediately!

Great place to get married or have a reunion or dance party lights are built in, cool the lights are in rythum with 🎵. Cool.

First time in an Albertsons and I was impressed. Their deli is way above average, would definitely shop here if one was in my home town.

I went here once. Granted I was living out of my car, so I wasnt looking my best, as well as in active addiction, but I was treated very messed up. I was super happy to see products I could not find anywhere were here. (Gatorade powder, the blue one). But the store called the police on me, talked to me with some nasty attitudes and accused me of stealing . I was met by the police at checkout and trespassed from the store. I do not steal from stores ever. Its not ok to do, as well as Im just to scared to do it. I work for my money and these people judged me based on appearance and Im no longer allowed there. Good riddance you *%@%$.

The store was very neat and clean. The deli workers were super nice and very friendly and helpful. The check out lines were reasonable.

Great selection.

They ended up closing an hour earlier than what the website said and only had one checker at the end of the night when they really should have had a minimum of 2 checkers until closing time.

I know that Albertson and Safeway are owned by Albertsons, but my perception is Albertson feel more expensive and there older branded products were know where as good as Safwan Select products are. I would rebrand all the stores to Safeway

It’s always really dirty, first off. A test was when my partner left a pack of beer on a shelf next to the check out stands (yes I scolded her) and it was still there a week later. The employees are really rude and constantly miserable. It’s unpleasant. There’s never any employees checking out, leaving lines extremely long. Just drive 6 extra minutes to mill creek Albertsons, you’ll be happier.

There should still be chicken in the deli at 6pm. Ridiculous. Dinner time is not the time to run out!

I always get lost in this store and go the wrong way to the pharmacy but the pharmacy staff is awesome and Ive never had any problems with the cashiers. conveniently located and I love that it is right next to the library even if its one of the smaller Sno Isles Library.

This place is gross. Always dirty in front. Smells like urine. And the customer service is always very sub par. Checkers never greet you or try to make any small talk. The last part is ok for some folks but I was taught very differently when I first started out in retail. Most folks like it when you express interest in them!
